This is a great aquarium, probably the best in Dallas for children. (Cleaner, better exhibits than the Children's aquarium and the Dallas World Aquarium is both horridly expensive and more a rainforest zoo than an actual aquarium). This is NOT as good as aquariums made for adults (Baltimore, New Orleans, or even Corpus Christie). However, if you have children under the age of 10, this is a great experience.

Pros:
Clean
Good exhibits
lots of different "views" (Tunnel, a couple of see-through floors, concave and convex ports).
Decently wide selection of animals.
Seems to have different educational opportunities and talks (I did not actually attend any in my visit)
Knowledgeable staff
Hands on section with starfish/crabs for the kids.
Ages 2 and under are free

Cons:
A bit commercialized (pictures on green screen when you walk in, a gift shop you must walk out of to exit)
Definitely for children and their parents (I would think anyone over 10 might start to be a little bored). But if you have young children, it is great!
More expensive than I would prefer (but, given how clean it is, it is probably worth it). If you buy online you can save a few dollars per ticket.

I absolutely adore this place. It's rather expensive, but it's worth the investment if you can afford it. Being a single mother of twins 3 year olds, I did pay an arm and a leg to get us all in. That's why I can only give this company 4 stars, but I'm sure they're happy with the sacrifice and making it rain with the difference.

I love the layout. I like that it's set up in a one-way path and you can take as long as you like while in there. There are lots of neat view-ins or secret spaces for kids, but those spaces are made for solely kids, so don't try to be thaat adult. Let them have their fun. They can even view from the inside of stingray tank viewing you, mom, on the other side.

It's really quite marvelous the interior work of this aquarium. Aside from the tanks everywhere, the decor makes the ambiance ring a nice underwater sea life cave vibe all throughout the aquarium. You can walk in a tunnel and be surrounded by mixed sea life. The entire place is dimmed and they have extra lights emphasizing the blue hues. It's so pretty!

At the end of the line, if you're a tired parent and are not ready to go home, you can let your kids play in the indoor play area. Socks REQUIRED and it makes sense, so stick to the rules or be warned. There's just enough fun in that small indoor play area that you will literally have to pry them out of there just to leave.

Careful now, after leaving that area it may be a good idea to consider Bird Boxing it thru the next room because it is a VERY LONG gift shop and that exit door will move further away as you view it. I'm not even just saying that. If you're made of money, have at it. Be warned, the stuff is NOT made of gold and diamonds, it's just priced that way.

WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT BIRD BOX OUT OF THE GIFT SHOP, YOUR LAST MEMORY OF THAT PLACE WILL RUIN YOUR VISIT.

We went out for homeschool week. It was fun. My son and I had a good time. They offer a lot of marine life. We enjoyed walking through. I only wish that it was a bit bigger. It only took us about 30 minutes to walk through. The staff was friendly. The associate Hunter was very helpful. He was hosting the petting area. That was pretty neat!

For the price I have to say it sucks. The space is to narrow, don't recommend taking a stroller, and seriously it was just probably a 30 - 45 min walk. Oh and it seems that the staff does not like being there at all, I can't remember seeing any smiling face at all.

This was a great place to visit with young kids! Viewing exhibits was easy for our 2 year olds and there was a great variety of fish and sea life to see. Defiantly worth the cost of admission.

SPECTACULAR EXPERIENCE! First time visitor. Didn't know what to expect. 3 hours later, we walked out with new knowledge and a new appreciation for the work done here. #savetheturtles #sealife

My kids had a great time. They were excited to find each dive station so they could stamp their Sea Life books. They also loved rescuing the turtles, nursing them back to health, and releasing them. I'd definitely take them again.

Great place to take not only the kids but adults as well to learn about the sea life! Don't remember the guys name that gave talks at different sections...he did say this was his first time speaking in a while. He was very informative and took the time to answer all our questions after each talk.

We had a little delay with our school group as we made and paid for our reservations online. Just call ahead and verify your reservation to avoid any delays.

If you have problems locating it there is no signage but it right next to Legoland. The only signs I saw are when your walking towards the building but it is covered by all the trees.

When your done here there is a great variety of places you can eat at in the food court!

A lot of fun for the kids and surprisingly fun for adults too. They did a great job for the amount of space they were working with. A lot of hands on activities for the kids and a lot of sealife for the adults to view.

Kids had a lot of fun going through this, and it was actually better than I expected given the location and other reviews. It's not as fancy as the big aquarium in Jenks, OK or others, but it is located in a mall after all. Take an hour or two to check it out in conjunction with Legoland.

A great place for kiddos and adults also. So many sea life animals. As a members you will get direct access no need to stand on queue. Very good staff. Knowledgeable and helpful.
We used to go LEGO and Aquarium.

Drove an hour and a half to get here and they closed at 5 although the info here says they close at 8 and the sign posted at the front says 6. I arrived at 5:05. Very disappointed in the waste of time and the lack of care given by the staff at the gift shop (which, strangely, was NOT closed) to explain their closing early.

I initially scoffed at the ticket prices assuming that this place was pretty small and that we d be in and out in less than ten minutes but it was much larger than I expected and my kid loved it!

My family loved it! Especially the grandkids, age 4 and 6. The aquariums are beautiful, and I loved the tunnel, and being surrounded by sharks, fish, and it felt like I was underwater with them. I loved how some of the tanks are set up with a big bubble underneath that the kids can go into. It made for some great photos, as well as entertained the kids well.
The price is most reasonable. I combined it with the Legoland ticket and for a family of 5, it was about $143.

Priced like an attraction and not very big, but there is an impressive array of sea life, from seahorses to large sharks and turtles. I really enjoyed the touch pool, and the staff was very knowledgable! Small children might run through it too quickly for the price tag, but with kids 5 and up, if you need something to do for an hour, go for it. Get a ticket on groupon, its cheaper :)

the aquarium was ok for being in a mall.staff not so friendly and felt rushed to go thru exhibits.i would wait until the covid pandemic is over to visit. so for now I would say not worth the money.

My daughter absolutley loves this place. Toddler tuesday is the best. Only paid $16 to get in and its unlimited entry for the rest of the day. The gift shop is pretty cool too. Lots of souvenirs.

The aquarium its awesome and well taken care of we got to do the turtle game the kids enhoyed it, but to my tate they let to many people in where you can't enjoy all the scenery because you are either pushed to move along or have too cause u cant see a thing. Plus green screen picture lady the day we went did not even offre a picture so we missed that as a family we were looking forward to it but we thought it wasnt working so booo to the picture lady the day we went.

It's an okay aquarium. I'm not a big fan of the screens with the fish information, because I like to read on the fish and keep walking, the screens make it hard to read because you have to wait for your information to pop oit.the staff was alright, no complaints there, the selection of fish is nice.

We love this aquarium! We have a season pass and we will renew it. It is very small but it is very calming. It is perfect for children under the age of 10. The petting season is also a great feature and my children love the sea turtle rescue game. Every time we go to Grapevine Mills, we go through the aquarium and say hi to all the fish.

We visited on a Thursday at approximately 1pm. We purchased the combo pass that includes a visit to Legoland. We went to Legoland then lunch then Sea Life.

Sea Life was, by far, the superior experience. The animals appeared healthy and well-cared for. The kids learned some fun facts which led to some even more fun family debates.

Sea Life was clean and the employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and engaged. The exibits were well-considered and maintained.

This is a fun place but spending more than 2 hours here is unlikely.

Price is a bit high. Two adults total over $50. The aquarium experience is pretty good for a mall aquarium but limited to its space. For this price it may be worth the extra drive to visit the Dallas Aquarium.

My 20 month old LOVED this experience. I also thought it was quite spectacular. The guitar sharks and sting rays were my favorite. It's open and was spacious enough for me to maneuver my double stroller. It was pretty clean and the music is just inspiring.

We visited from Houston with my kids 2.5 and 5 and they LOVED this aquarium! It is small enough that they are not exhausted after 15 mins, super interactive and fun, and keeps the kids super engaged. They have a little playground which was simple yet they got to run around and play! Their absolute favorite part was the sea star/anemone petting zoo! The staff was super helpful and answered all of my kids questions. Will definitely be back!
