Sea Life Aquarium at Grapevine Review

My 9 year olds third grade class went here on a field trip. I think I had more fun than they did. They have a very informative shark presentation right at the beginning. From there you are taken through an ocean of sea life wonder. Sting Rays that are happy to see you, Sharks, Sea Horses, Jelly Fish and of course the entire cast of finding nemo. Kids can interact with the sea life there at the end. It's really awesome. I'll be back for sure!

I loved this aquarium! The kids absolutely loved looking at all the water creatures and especially the sharks! They have a little playplace inside and an area where you are actually able to touch the starfish, sea urchins, and sea cucumbers!
It's a part of the mall, so you could totally spend an entire day looking at the aquarium, catching lunch in the food court, and doing some window shopping. There's even a Legoland there!
Took away 1 star only because of the price of the tickets.

Loved all the sea life and interactions really keep kids interacting... Just wished parents kept their kids in sight and taught them to wait their turn.

It was good for the most part but the gift shop was horrible most of the bad reviews here is because of the gift shop

Good aquarium, interesting displays, kids always entertained. They change/alter some displays (minor) occasionally, recommend going back if it's been a while.

Loved it! Try and get a coupon for one adult, get the second in free.

Was better then I expected for a mall aquarium. We went on weekend and was pretty packed. I would suggest weekdays if they are open during the week

This is a very nice and fantastic experience for parents and kids of any age and from all backgrounds. This local facility is so much more fun than driving out of town to experience the same thing elsewhere. There is a lot to see and to interact. There is so much information as well for those people deeply interested in marine ecological system. It s not too expensive if you combine internet discounts but you should definitely visit this location at least once and give it a try.

Attended Sea Life Aquarium on a field trip with my kindergartener. She was excited about everything here, and thoroughly enjoyed herself.
They had areas where fish and sea creatures were swimming above and below us as we walked through - I've seen it at other aquariums and found it just as awesome here.
There were plenty of chances for learning at each stop. Plus, we were able to pet a sea star!
I would definitely take her again and bring my son along.

Aquarium is enlightening. Mermaid isn't a big deal. She doesn't look real. Can't hold her breath very long. Lol! But definitely brave to be in the tank with stingrays.

It's not what it used to be. One tank of fish had an obvious case of popeye. The fish smell was pretty obvious in places, and there was water on the floor near the rays. I was sad to see several of the aquatic residents are no longer there and it made me wonder if they were really cared for will enough.

Pricey but sometimes you have to pay for conservationism

Very well maintained, friendly staff, good exhibits. I love the educational aspects. The only reason for 4 over 5 stars is that when busy they really need to regulate the amount of people they allow in at a time. It gets way too crowded.
My advice, buy tickets online, they are cheaper. Don't go on a weekend, and evening tickets are cheaper.

So great!!! My two year old loves it and everyone was amazing and went well over and beyond to make sure we had a great experience!!!! I am so impressed and will go back next time we visit the area!

This place never disappoints. I took three 11 year olds and they had an absolute blast! The turtles and starfish were their favorites!

It was awesome, we especially enjoyed learning about their turtles.

Pleasantly surprised with this aquarium. Small but lots of things to see and more interactive than I thought it would be.

Had a great time with my wife and daughter. Perfect for toddlers and smaller children because all of the windows are lower to the ground. Plenty of things to do and learn. I will come back with grandparents in the future.

real nice place but wish somebody was there to get our pictures looked at because we stood there for about 10 minutes and nobody ever showed up what a bummer

Went here for my child's field trip. It's nice and kept well. It's an aquarium in a mall. I think it is just over priced for something you can walk through in an hour and a half.
