Sea Life was the first time we have visited. Our kids had an awesome time. I thought perhaps it was gonna be...well, so-so. I was certainly pleasantly surprised. For the amount of people visiting there was still enough space to maneuver around. And there was so much information on each sea life. One piece of advice, if you are able to upgrade the screens to be more interactive that would make the lines move a little quicker as the screens now are super slow.
Loved Sea Life! Everything was well kept, and it wasn't too crowded! Only bummer was not getting to see the jellyfish because of remodel of their tank. Sharks were neat to see! We got to touch a starfish too. My son loved it and the play area at the end was a bonus! My son got to play while I rested before we went to the exit and into the gift shop.
We had a Great Time !!! The admission is a little to pricey !!
Great for little kids. Small but colorful and interactive. Needs more sealife variety. The place can get too packed.
Myself, husband, and kids had such a wonderful time here. There are tons of underwater animals there. Lots of cool facts given for each type of sea animal. Cool activities, and scavenger hunts. The high lights for me were the sea turtles, sharks, and sea horses. Dont forget to pet the star fish and coral!
Pretty good exhibits...a little pricey but it was nicely organized and staff was friendly
Beautiful ride for adults and children. Full of interesting species to know.
WAYYYYYYYYYY nicer than you will expect. Well worth visiting.
Great place to take the kids for a day out of the sun!
Okay! This place is good for toddlers and kids if you want to introduce them to sea life. Personally, I am in no favor of aquarium and zoo. The attractions were very limited. The domes for the fish were small except for one or two. And for such limited attraction, the price was a bit high. If price was less than $13.50, it would have gotten a 4 star.
Said it was open till 7pm, however the gates are closed at 5. Very disappointed.
Small but a great place to take small children to get out of the heat and learn about conservation.k
We really enjoyed this experience. The price point was inexpensive and well worth the money spent. It was huge, interactive, and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this for a family outing if you are in the area. They have plenty of marine life to explore, walk through areas with fish and sharks swimming overhead. Some great photo opportunities. Near the end you get to feel different star fish and other small creatures. So fun! We loved it!!!
Omg! We had the best time! It wasn't that crowded which made it easier to get up close! So much sea life to take in and the staff was super friendly!
A little expensive for what you get to see. I thought the actual glass aquarium would be larger. It's more exciting for smaller children in my opinion
Like a big aquarium lots of display fish shark and octopus and activities
Pretty cool for being in a mall. Great rescue work being done by these folks
Great place for toddlers. The sea life and arrangements make it fun for families.
We spent a couple of hours here and could have spent longer. I thought it was a little pricey, but worth it. My son got a little pack with booklets to complete activities as we went along. The place was clean and well maintained. There is a nice variety of reasons life to see. I enjoyed it a lot and so did my kids.
It was really fun the info on all the sealife was great and the above head tanks were amazing to look at. Only complaint would of been the wherlchair acceptability in one room was really bad not easy to move in.
Good place ! Multiple varieties. I took my toddler and she had absolutely fun.
Nice little place....geared towards smaller kids, there was still enough variety for adults to enjoy.
Surprisingly a lot in a small place, in a even more surprising place, a mall. Something good for the kids and enough to the accompanying adults to be intrested. If going without kids, only worth going once but was still cool to see.
It was ok... Not worth the price $90 for 2 adults and 2 kids
What a beautiful Aquarium!!! It is a very nice place and we had a great time here, our 2-yr-old was fascinated. The tunnel section where you are surrounded by glass is amazing, I just wish it was a little bigger. The shark walk is very cool too, we just didn't get to see the octopus section, it was closed but, it was a very nice experience. They let you tour the place on your own but, the staff at the front where you buy tickets, are very nice. I totally recommend this aquarium for all ages, this is the kind of place where everyone will have fun! But get there early because it does get crowded around noon.
Impressed with what they have inside a mall. Lots of different sea life to see and learn about!
My first time EVER going to an aquarium and I enjoyed it more than my kids did!
Its a really cool experience for small kids 1-10. Babies dont really care and older kids get bored fast. The turtles, stingrays, big shark tank and jelly fish are the highlights. The decor is really submerging too (no pun). Worth at least one visit specially when it is hot outside.
It was excited and interesting and just. BEAUTIFUL. Thank you
If I could leave no stars I would. They let way to many people in at a time. It's hard to see exhibits & even harder to touch the star fish. The gift shop prices are insane for a little stuffed animal its 18$ The floors were nasty & soaked in some spots, staff was rude.
Buying tickets there was quite expensive we can find many coupons online! Better buy online and visit the place.Kids would definitely enjoy this place!
Sea Life Grapevine is nice, they have a good variety of sea life. The only down side that people should know is that it is in a mall.... and is not that big compared to other aquariums around the metroplex.
This place is great for toddlers and family! But so so expensive! Save a couple of bucks by purchasing tickets online!
An absolute must for all ages! Plenty of sea creatures as far as the eye can see. Plus due to the business actually being located inside of the mall, once your done you can walk around Grapevine Mills mall and view the many store and vendors throughout the facility.
Great time!! Beautiful aquarium. So fun to do all the activities!! Be warned hard to find a parking spot so consider valet
Awesome colorful happy place great staff, great prices! Will be visiting again!
Good place for the little ones. A lot of different animals to see. There are interesting activities inside to learn more about the animals and sealife conservation, but my two year old was too young for them. I don't give it 5 stars because I thought it was a little expensive for the size of it since you can see the whole place in around 90 minutes. Parking can be a hassle, but if you're willing to walk, the other side of the mall usually has a lot of open spaces.
We took our two teenagers here for some fun and were pleasantly surprised. The cost was $78 online for four adult tickets which included tax. If you come after 4pm it s a little cheaper. The exhibits are very nice and you ll see plenty of sharks and sting rays!
A ton of fun crammed into a compact area. Tons of exhibits. Great staff.
A bit crowded. And the groups walking through made us feel rushed and hurried along.
Kids had a great time! Don't waist your money on the add-on packs though, they make no sense and are not worth the cost.
It's pretty fun for kids 10 and under. It was just a little too chaotic and crowded for my liking. Also kinda pricey. I would take the kids again if I got free coupons or something, but definitely not for the price of admission.
Very overpriced for not a whole lot of aquarium. Wouldn't recommend or revisit.
My kids enjoyed the Aquarium and so did I. It was a last minute decision I am glad I made. The best part was the Ray's, I could have sat and just watched them for way longer than my kiddos let me.
Convenient location. Okay for the price.may be an hour of timepass.wish dallas had a bigger and grander aquarium like Chicago does.
Small but still enjoyable. Mainly geared towards children
The aquarium is cool, but there was some young girl yelling in our face to "keep moving" about the mermaids before we even knew they were coming up. You only get one second to glance at the mermaid before they force you (by yelling) to move. It was so impolite, rude, and unexpected and it honestly kind of ruined the experience for me and my daughter. She was literally saying "they are about to get out of the water" which was encouraging people to crowd up to try to see them, and then yelling at them not to? She has a power trip for sure.
If we were loitering at the mermaids I would understand but there is no reason to treat people like that who have done nothing wrong. We were literally just walking around and then we got yelled at by some young girl with long hair.
Great place to take the kids, but it is a little bit pricey. Took us about 2 hours to go through the entire Aquarium. Lots of Hands-On things for the kids to keep them fully engaged.
A little expensive for day passes. Season pass few dollars more. Pretty expansive for being in a mall. Cool place.
I've read reviews saying this is a small aquarium but for the price and convenience of the location I feel the size and price is great! Multiple rooms and levels! My kiddo and I really enjoyed it!
Kids enjoyed their visit. It is small and dark but enjoyable.
I really like it I didn't know that they have so many fish I thought it was a smaller I will give it 5 star if it wasn't for the price.
A small, decent & fun place for kids. It's mostly normal kinda boring fish. I personally wouldn't call it an aquarium, it ended before I saw anything really cool besides the sea turtles
Too crowded and not really trying much to do but look at giant fish bowl
We have a membership here (it makes the most since if you plan to visit more than once). We normally get here in the early AM right as they open and even then its busy, but not over crowded. The kids (ages 3 and 1) love coming here and enjoy every minute. All of the exhibits are clean and well kept. The octopus exhibits is worth seeing when they have feeding or activity time. The kids sea life "touch" pool is decent, nothing over the top but enough to entertain a 3 year old. They do have a small theater that plays a 15 min looping moving about sea life, its a good rest stop on your way out.
Get tickets online ahead of time, cheaper! Love this place. The aquarium tunnel and stingrays are the best!
Really cool! Sea life aquarium is awesome. Go in free if you buy the legoland discovery tickets online before you go. My children loved the place more than the legoland discovery center. Staff is very interactive with there customers, they also have a touch pool where you can touch starfish and other little sea creatures. There is a lot to see and learn for everyone of all ages.
Its 2 stories so if your in a stroller or wheelchair they do have elevators to get around.
Went over spring break. Everyone else had the same idea. So it was packed. But the fish were pretty, and looked happy and well fed. The rays were my favorite though. I would suggest going in the middle of a school week because its pretty crowded on busy days.
Lots of fun. My two toddlers loved it. They have turtles now. I'm not sure when they showed up, but it's a really nice setup next to a turtle hospital. We didn't see many sharks on the last visit. I'm not sure if they cycle through what is on display. For being in a mall it's pretty nice. It's expensive for a single visit, but a really good deal for the budget pass if you plan to go more than three times in a year.
My wife and I took our 3 grandsons 7/17/15, it was waste of $59.00. We did not even view all. utter confusion when trying to understand what description went with what fish or group. Back ground music too loud keeping one on edge. Everything looks well worn out and not to clean. Buying tickets on line is suppose to speed you up/not have to stand in line, but that was a joke also as all lines end up at same place. Bottom line is we don't have a Aquarium in Fort Worth area, go to Dallas or the Fort Worth Zoo if you can't go to Dallas. I would be embarrassed to recommend this so called Aquarium to anyone!
