One of the top private Engineering colleges in kerala. I myself am a student here and it is a nice place to study, a little cosy place away from too much distraction(its really helpful when it comes to different types of fests).
The faculty here is awesome, the labs are plentiful and surrounded by forest for sure a good atmosphere to study. Now for extracurricular activities the campus has a basketball court, volleyball court, a cricket training nets, a football court outside campus and a big auditorium to conduct different fests.
Now getting to to education standards, it is really good. The teachers here give it their all to teach the students such that they get good grades. While the educational system is not the best the college is not to blame, the college just follows the rules set by the university.
An added plus the SCMS brethren of Architecture is also situated in the same campus, So you have a chance to make good friends with future architect's. Also their building is just beautiful pieces of architecture.

Same like spending money to buy a pet dog who bites you.. bites you so hard that u will never buy a dog again...

Good looking collage. Large number of companies have recruitment here. Good academic atmosphere. I am studying in this collage for btech computer science engineering. I am sure that if you study in that collage your future will be secured.

The College is great with all necessary facilities but its hostel (Junior's Men hostel) have issues with the bathroom like doors with broken locks one toilet with broken flush tank.
But the teaching is absolutely great and I loved it

Away fro city traffic and sound pollution, but good ambience. Hostel facility is great and clean.

As part of admission I had done some R&D from various sources, SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION AND MANAGEMENT STUDIES-[SCMS] located in Prathap Nagar,Muttom,Alwaye Cochin-683106 Kerala,India and they offer various courses POST-GRADUATE-DIPLOMA,2-Years,FULL-TIME,POST-GRADUATE-DIPLOMA-IN-MANAGEMENT-[PGDM],2-Years,FULL-TIME, and their specialization list is PUBLIC-RELATIONS,OPERATIONS-MANAGEMENT,ENTREPRENEURSHIP-DEVELOPMENT,FOREIGN-TRADE,HOSPITAL-MANAGEMENT,HUMAN-RESOURCE-MANAGEMENT,INTERNATIONAL-BUSINESS,MARKETING-MANAGEMENT,SUPPLY-CHAIN-MANAGEMENT,BANKING,INFORMATION-

experience was aweful to say the least. even after 20 yrs the college is not known beyond kerala , though now there is a swanky new building Its basically a family run enterprise with sole focus of making money. the ranking was 29th in 1998 and now it is almost close to 50th.the placements i am sure are no were in line with what is claimed. ppl looking to get admission into the college kindly verify all things before getting admitted.

Except Girls Hostel facilities, especially Toilets, all other facilities are fine. Teachers are very good. Hostel canteen is just ok.

It's a place where dreams turn reality. Highly recommended.
