One of the worst airports. Poor public.wifi, employees of migrations, security and equioaje inattentive and with ill will. We arrived on a flight.from.Miami in transit to Bs.As. (439 Latam,), at 6:00 p.m. , we had to go down stairs, there was no manga, the security employee delayed the check in the tape for pre-boarding because her partner did not put bampers in the tape, even though we had to board another flight, she did not care.

While it is uncomfortable for all the restructuring that is taking place, I think it is excellent that it is evolving into a true International Quality Airport.
Although it is a transit site, I think there should be more places to sit and rest, as well as the spots with wi-fi available since ALWAYS it is very crowded the only one there is.
They should also improve the aesthetics of the departure of passengers since it has these metal grilles together that are like the ones they put on streets or events and they look VERY unpleasant, unsophisticated and ordinary, being part of the first thing a tourist / traveler sees and Even we ourselves when returning from a trip or pick up a family member, friends or whatever the reason for your visit.

Although it is in expansion, the Airport of Santiago is small chaotic and very badly managed is a place of stress, few parking lots, long waits and a generalized chaos, the positive points that is security and there good signage but in general it is a place of Stress

It is a nice airport although it is a little crashed with so many people. I think they should expand it since local flights are combined with international ones. Parking is far away (if you don't want to pay dearly) and taxis are terribly annoying. Great variety of shops and places to eat.

Our experience at this airport was absolutely terrible!! When we entered the main area it was absolutely packed with people with no signage indicating where we needed to go. The mass of people didn't appear to be organized into lineups at all. People were moving and mingling about, making it exceptionally difficult to determine where we needed to go. There were no airport or airline staff present to direct people and/or offer assistance.
Our experience made us wonder about the accountability in the airport bureaucracy for the incredible lack of organization. It's odd that such a large international airport can be disorganized to such a degree. We've travelled through many large airports around the world and I can't think of one like this one.
Why not hire people to direct customers as they enter the main building, and place large visible signs throughout the entire space? Also create clearly delineated spaces for customers to line up.

In the international area of the airport is very good! Modern, well signposted, with collaborators in their tours that advise or guide you according to your needs. Large airport, however it navigates fairly easily. The international gates at C01 - C14 are a pretty long walk from the security/immigration line so leave yourself time. The restaurant options are plenty and the terminal was clean. The immigration process on arrival and departure was no issues however the line arriving was long as we arrived with several planes.

This airport is roughly half the size of Miami s International Airport. It can handle large aircraft and it s comfortable. It added free wireless a few years ago, and it finally banned smoking in its terminals back in 07 . Keep in mind that an international airport in South America doesn t need to be as large as its North American counterparts, due to both passenger and air traffic volume apart from available funding.

On the lan iquique santiago flight on Sunday with arrival in Santiago at 1:30 am on Monday we had to wait 20 minutes for the wheelchair for my mother, and we were left in the first floor area where no private vehicles access, despite If I had insisted to the official that it was not the right place, this forced us to transfer my invalid mother on the third floor to be able to remove her from the Airport.

Almost all the flights take it for the early morning and there are no shared cars for some places, forcing the person to pay for a personal one and they tell you that there are no more ($ 8,300 shared [there were not for all sectors] and $ 24,000 private [coincidentally there were many of these cars])

I expected much more from this airport as it is an air hub on the continent. The many food outlets and shops are not open 24 hours. The charging stations are broken (USB connectors did not work and the 220v sockets are not universal). Very nice bathrooms and common spaces. A place to be comfortable if you are only passing a few hours.

It is small, clean and comfortable. The dutty free is like that of ezeiza (argentina), therefore it does not have cellular stores. It has a food court and a small playground for children. It's not a big deal, but it works.

Some of the worst if it is not the worst of the experiences I had in an airport. We arrived from a plane for connection to go to Mexico, as soon as we arrived the descent was very slow and we had to get on a bus for approximately 10 mins to get to the entrance of the airport from there we went straight to the area of connections to meet approximately 1 hour of line for the check of personal backpacks, when we were going through the middle of the line a large number of people who arrived from new flights began to sneak in because they used departures were approaching and nobody seemed to care, we continued with our "row" and they opened a new line on the left for those of us who had upcoming trips, what appeared to be airport staff and we went through this one because our plane was boarding in 20 minutes, after 5 minutes they return us and send us to queue again with the excuse "It is not our fault that your airline puts your flight so close." I spent another hour waiting for her to go to this line because thank God they rushed her a little and I got to board my plane. Very poor staff and lack of information and authority. They would have to expedite the checking of the connection outputs at peak hours and prioritize the order.
