I used this airport a couple of times during my visit to Chile. Very easy to navigate - signage is very clear and it's not a big airport. Only few counters at check-in are open which makes the lines longer to check in. Used sky airlines couple of times and had to wait in line for check-in. While departures baggage came out fast and didn't have to wait for that during domestic travel. Very clean airport. Used the money exchange at the airport - process was smooth and fast.
Food and shopping options at the airport were there and they sell food in the sky airlines which was helpful since we didn't have time between transits.
The language is a bit of a problem. Staff can not communicate in English. When we arrived in Chile with Latam our luggage didn't arrive and it was such a problem checking out the status at the baggage collection office. Terrible! They do not deliver as promised! I made a reservation and simply ignored it. I waited 3 hours at the airport because I had no car. They gave me another car and not what I asked because I had no option. The car was dirty and totally poorly maintained, in no condition! In the return I almost missed my flight because there was no one at 6:30 am like this on the site to receive the car. The clerk only arrived at 7:30. All very uneducated! Bad experience with them in Chile! Alamo I believe is good only in the US where I had rented before. But now never again!
