Scioto Downs Racino Review

I like going here. I don't make it a habit of course but I go there in memory of a loved one who loved that place a lot. The security is friendly and they do their jobs perfectly.

Love it !!
I have won more there then any casino I have been to in the last 8 years.
Pizza is great at the Dash Cafe.

You win sometimes and you lose sometime as opposed to Hollywood where you lose most of the time.

We always have a good time when we get to go here. It's fun meeting new people, just wish we could win something.

We had a good day, enjoyed lunch at Dash cafe, we joined the senior crowd for a few 2 hours of slots.

I miss harness racing playing slots a little tight for my dollar

Slots were being fair and I don't normally say that. I figured since after the shutdown that the slots would be greedy but they were not.

Eldorado-Scioto Downs is the best casino in Ohio if you like to play slots, and eat delicious food! Very friendly staff and the place is clean. Thanks Scioto Downs for all of the great times I've had there!

I had a blast at this place. The drinks made were amazing and I won some cash. Everyone was nice and helpful.

Doesn t have slots games like Baccarat compared to Hollywood Casino. One person actually thinks casinos without table games improve your odds on the slots machines? LMAO. The things people come up with about gambling lol. Slot machines are the bread and butter of all casinos. Once they become modernized like Hollywood casino and offer table games, the crowds would double along with their profits. Playing slots is the worst game at any casino next to blackjack. Good luck people if there is such as thing with computers.

I didn't feel there were enough hand sanitizing stations or were there hand wipes to wipe down the machines. I never saw any employees wiping down the machines and it was busy Saturday night. Also only half of the money kiosks were working. Very disappointed.

Slots suck they have them too tight...can't win anything unless you are somebody who goes there every single day then they may let you win because they track you with your card of you put it in the machine...

Once again no win but they sure know how to take your money!!!! They don't even let you play a little!!! Very dissatisfied!

I'm not really a gambler but it was a fun evening! Ate at Brew Brothers. Had the Mushroom & Swiss burger. It was excellent! Ordered the Garlic Fries and got an order big enough to be a meal all by themselves! Gambled away $40 in the slots and had a great time! I'd definitely go back.

Love this casino, haven't won much money, but enjoy spending time there.

It's ok as long as you're there for the entertainment factor. In the year's I've been going, the win percentage is about 20% of the time. If you do manage a decent sized win, better to pocket it and head out the door.

Its casino with no card games. Heading to Hollywood

For the past several months I have stopped in here at least 3-4 times a week as I love to gamble. Sometimes I use my one card. Sometimes I try my luck without it. I have found that it is very hard if at all possible to win any type of jackpot. The slots just do not pay out. I paid a visit there yesterday, Sunday January 14th. As most of us do I have my favorite machines that I like to play. Unfortunately, I couldn't play any of my fav's cause there was 1 person walking around the circle of machines playing them all at one time. She had money in EVERY one of the machines in that circle. Although it states on the machine that the management has a right to limit you to 1 machine. When I spoke to management about this I was told "So, she's allowed." Really??? So why even post that on the machines? As for the Grove Buffet. Save your money folks. My hubby and I both made 1 trip each up to thefood line and looked up and all the workers were standing there staring at us. When I asked if something was wrong I was told that they wanted to close down and were waiting to see if we wanted something else. Then why did you take our money if you felt it was that late? We ended up walking out. I will take my biz to Hollywood from now on. I refuse to keep donating where there is very poor management. I recommend people DO NOT GO HERE!

Had a relatively good time here, too many people walking around without properly wearing their masks and asking for money. This place could use some more TLC

Machines jumping..taking money..when buttons are not even touched..does not give tickets with change back under $1.00. very disappointed. In the last three times I have been there.

The concert was great, but Brew Brothers was having some problems. They had no idea how they were seating for the concert, so we waited, only to be ignored by a group of 4+ employees, then told to seat ourselves, which also turned out to be incorrect. The concert started a full hour after it was supposed to, and we had to watch past a man just trying to eat his dinner, which was very awkward. The fries were way over seasoned, and two out of three beers I had were flat. The talent was amazing, but the venue needs a lot of work.

Very poorly run casino. Waited for them to find someone to run the cloak room upon arrival and departure for 30 minutes each. Personnel stated that everyone was quitting and there wasn't anyone to work. It has the potential but obviously no management structure. what workers who are there were rude and unfriendly. They don't seem to care if your happy or not. Probably won't go back due to the attitude promblems.

Very nice hotel. Very clean. Also professional and friendly. Looks very exciting. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms were clean and organized. Someone was at the front desk at all times.

Don't get as much free play anymore. Don't get the gifts or food vouchers. Can't even hit a bonus hardly anymore.

The casino is a lot of fun. The experience at the race track wasn't as great. We had an outside table and the service was soooo slow. They seemed really under staffed. It was quicker to stand in line at the concessions booth than it was to get table service. The concessions were out of some of the food offerings.
We enjoy going to the races, but the service and facility seem to get a little worse every time. Sad.

A lot more laid back than the Hollywood Casino...my wife and I liked it.

We went to the buffet and the food was really good today. Its a good value for your money and very clean too and no kids running around bothering everyone.

This is absolutely one of the best dinner buffets I've ever eaten. Their crablegs are delicious, monstrous and are undoubtedly the biggest and tastiest I've ever had and that includes right off the northeast coast! Everything on the bar is to your liking....or they change it out til it serves your tastebuds! The staff and management are of the highest quality as well. I recommend The Grove Buffet in the Eldorado Casino to be on your bucket list!!!!

Every time I go I end up regretting the visit, Scioto doesn t have nearly the payouts Hollywood does. If they had better and more payouts then maybe it would actually be fun.

Fun place but bathrooms not so clean and there is not quite near as much play back and winnings as when old mgmt had this location. Also very hard to meet next tier here.
