Scioto Downs Racino Review

Played some slots, ate some good food , it was a good time with the wife. Not overly crowded and close parking.

This place is horrable. Feels like a great big waste of time when u spend 800 in the casino and get $2 in free play. But the 800 you spent the biggest hit you had was for $20 on a dollar machine. They had a mislabeled machine that the max bet button was too close to the spin button and i bet over $70 on one spin. Was not in high roller area and of course did not win anything. What a horrable horrable casino to. Go. To if have better odds in vegas!

Oh man we went there for the first time cashed our winning lottery ticket, got a drink which was the bomb, went home and came back for the food, 30 bucks per person all you can eat crab legs, food was great and we did not try everything, we ran out of time! The place was full of seniors, wheel chairs, walkers and bengay. The machine we old but nice bathrooms. The atmosphere was relaxing more than Hollywood Casino which we went too check, I prefer there machines over Scioto

Only had slot machines.... Spent $15 got bored and left. Needs some actual card games

The casino was great. The horse track was under construction so there wasn't much covered seating.

Horrible. They have turned to into a poor gambling establishment for 2019, will probably not return. 4 ATM/ cash machines working in the whole building. No one to see if you wanted drinks. 1 person working the cage. They make enough off our loosing to afford some help. I wasn't the only one who said anything!!! Hollywood has you beat hands down, and I used to think the complete opposite. From now on, it will be Hollywood Casino for us.

I love Sciota Downs Casino and I always walk out a winner! I've hit jackpots several times and even when I don't hit I still win big. I have an disability and staff is aware and are very loving and security sure does make both me and my family feel safe. The Supervisor Mike is very attentive and he always asks me and my mother if we are ok and need anything. Thank you Mike.

We had a wonderful time! The weather was perfect and nice facilities and updates being done on the older structures.

It was the first casino I had ever visited 6 almost 7 years ago..

Love this place my husband and I don't get to go often but when we do we always have a blast! All there machines are always working perfectly and never have any problems with fellow game players

Great time fun games, but it's a casino so do not go with money your not willing to lose..lol
The Buffet is GREAT much better than the other casino in Columbus.

Fun clean relaxing didnt win much but had good time. Will go back but not spend as much.

Don't go there, the payout is horrible...very disappointed...

One bartender at each bar on a Saturday night during racing hours? Okay, guys. And stands construction not done before May? ........

My wife and I spend the same amount of money there but they give her $20 freeplay and give me $2. Don't like em at all.

I went to Scioto Downs this Saturday and I actually enjoyed myself. I wasn't able to win a jackpot but I broke even which is always a plus. The burnt ends at brew brothers was very tasty but I miss the buffet. The floor staff was very friendly and helpful. I met a few of the servers but Destiny I believe her name to be is Awesome. She gave me two margaritas and made sure she served my wife and I waters in between, she even offered us gloves so we wouldn't have to touch the machines. She has a great personality. I seen everyone enforcing the face mask and cleaning the machines and surrounding areas. I feel comfortable and safe coming here despite Covid 19 and the spread.

Very nice layout with a fresh energized non-stuffy feel to it. Plenty of parking and polite staff. Haven't tried the food but the buffets and eatery options look incredible!

Had dinner at Brew Brothers and the waiter was absolutely the worst I have ever had. He couldn't remember anything that we asked for I also ordered desert and he never brought it out I finally got pissed and left! The racino it's self was great but the restaurant has lots of work to do !

It was easy for me to get into with my wheelchair and it was fun there

Plenty of games to play and lots of folks winning! The food there isn't that great so don't go hungry.

Racing was fun, slots only. Brewbros wasn't very good.

Fun place to go to gamble and the food was amazing and every one was so nice but I Lost 40$ but I will be there again tomorrow

Good food at Brew Brothers... service is always hit or miss. Usually slow service. Today, hostess was missing...place slow but still waited a while for hostess to show up.

WAY BETTER ODDS AND MACHINES THAN THE CROOKS AT HOLLYWOOD!! CUSTOMER SERVICE & COMPS FAR EXCEED THE TIGHTWADS AT HOLLYWOOD. AT LEAST HERE THEY DON'T WIPE OUT YOUR POINTS EVERY 6 MONTHS LIKE THEY DO AT THE HOLLYWOOD HEIST AND CONFISCATE YOUR PLAYER CARDS. GUESS HLYWD IS WORRIED ABOUT COMPING PEOPLE AT THEIR OVERPRICED PONDEROSA BUFFET THATS ALWAYS OUT OF COLD FOOD. AT SCIOTO YOU ALSO WON'T GET THE MAFIA STARES FROM WANNABE PIT BOSSES WHEN YOU FINALLY WIN FROM THEIR FIXED BLACKJACK SHUFFLERS AND LOCKED DOWN SLOT MACHINES.
I CAN SEE CLEARLY WHY THE RACINO'S BOOMING AND HOLLYWOOD IS SHRINKING!! OBVIOUSLY THE RIGHT PLACE WENT TO VEGAS FOR OPERATIONAL TRAINING AND THE OTHER PLACE READ BOOKS ON IT. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE...YOU CAN TELL WHO WAS HERE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!

Love the fact that they have horse racing and a casino at the same location lots of fun and it's open 24 hrs. Great location close to home. Love It!!

ZERO STARS ! This casino is open 24 hrs a day. What they don't tell you is that you can't get a beer or any type of alcohol after 10pm. There is also not one single spot to get anything to eat after 10pm. The machines are so tight it's pathetic. Dinner was out of the hotel vending machine. No wonder the place didn't have any gamblers. I have to give it one star or this won't post.

This casino has available truck parking in a dirt lot

This is another casino that takes your money and don't pay out. I've been here a few times and I think once I came out 50.00 ahead. What a joke about pay outs .. put up on the bill boards what you've take in not how much you've paid out.

You guys always have the best slots and a ton of them.
Also how much money to you have to spend to start getting offers. I've went twice and spent over 100 bucks one time this month and still have received anything. I got offers probably over a year and none since.

Nice hotel connected to the racino. Harness racing and slots. Nice little cafe inside.

Clean facility with a relatively decent payout. Wonderful service if you need it. Great place to come and play.

Used there parking lot to layover & get some rest . Walked inside clean restrooms friendly staff members ' I wanted some good food , but all that I was able to get was two slices of pizza & a bag of chips witch set me back $15 tip including but good vibes.....

Have been back and it's much improved, love the smoking areas. Haven't tried the food yet but plan on going back especially once the horse racing starts again.

Was undergoing repairs at the time and smelled musty. Will try again sometime, maybe.

This place is fun. The buffet could be much better though!

Very nice place. Enjoyed the harness racing and slots.

I like this place even though I can not make it as often as I would like to.
