Great place to visit. They have a great deal in the summer for things to do there. Ziplining, bike riding, hiking and going to the top of the mountain. It is beautiful up there. A little cold so make sure you have the right clothes.

This afternoon's ride with Charity was by far, the best I have ever been on. I have done trail rides all over the country and she is the most patient wrangler/ guide, my horse (Ro) was a perfect fit for me, hubby did pretty good (better than I expected) and my grand daughter's horse(Selly) was good for her. Breeanna has some developmental delays and Charity was so patient, she did a great job teaching and guiding her without making either her or me feel bad. Although I am not a candidate for skiing, I will be bringing my friend back for riding and on my bucket list yet (I am 60), is ziplining and riding a ski lift up, then having a hot toddy in front of a roaring fireplace in the ski lodge and I believe I will be able to check those 2 things off my list. Charity is a wonderful ambassador for Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Thank you and please thank Charity again for us.

Schweitzer Mountain is our favorite ski resort in North idaho. They have amazing terrain from beginner to expert. The groomers are on point! Their employees are always friendly and helpful with a smile.

We visited Mt.Schweitzer Resort for the first time during Fall Fest. We had an incredible time and we're thoroughly impressed with the infrastructure and cuisine offerings at the Resort. We will certainly be returning during the winter season for some great powder turns. Thanks to all the staff who worked so hard this weekend to give your guests an experience to remember!

We had a great day DH mountain biking at Schweitzer and the people we talked to were all very helpful and courteous. The food at the summit was yummy and the views are incredible! A little hike at the top gives you more views as well.

Thanks trails were well maintained, but rocky as the mountains here are very rocky and not much dirt to be had. Add 5psi to your normal tire pressure to avoid flats! The redemption pro DH track was mostly fun but a couple spots were insane and I walked them. The other tracks were enjoyed by my 13yr old daughter.

I ve come to this place twice now for snowboarding and I m extremely sad that the season is over. This place has so many trails and runs for a not-so advanced snowboarder like me. It s never crowded the 2 times I was here which was great. Weather condition was bad the last time and we couldn t see anything at the top of the mountain because it was too foggy and this resort staff stopped and asked us if we were lost and gave us directions and tips on finding more visibility. The food choice is also good, not great but good enough. Will come back next season for sure.

COMPLETELY UNETHICAL

Started off being a great experience. Then 6 months later , Ended up getting ghost charges to my credit card with no consent from me to run it for Almost $700. This resort had chosen to charge my credit card for another customers expenses. NO explanation and a barely got an apology, on top of them asking me to do all the chasing up and having to provide full proof of bank Statements that I had paid everything for my room and family at check out 6 months ago! DONT GO HERE if you want your financial information to be PROTECTED !!!!. I spent well over $1000 during my stay. Never going back . If I hadn t kept an eye on my credit card and challenged them , they would have kept my money !Better customer service and some kind of compensation would have been nice .Now I have to get a new credit card because of this one resort . Left a very bad taste for me.

I visited Schweitzer to check it out as a possible wedding venue. My fiance and I loved it and we are going to be booking our wedding here. Their food and bar are reasonably priced and the resort is stunning, and the rooms are beautiful and affordable for my guests. They seem like they will be accommodating, and my point of contact there, Cassandra, is extremely friendly and helpful. It's my dream wedding to be married on top of a mountain, and Schweitzer is able to sell me that dream on a budget I can afford.

Never having been there, I didn't know what to expect, but we were both very pleasantly surprised by the sheer quantity and quality of activities and shops up on Schweitzer Mountain.

If you have the opportunity to go up to the peak, it's worth it. The views are spectacular, as well as the food. I have mobility issues, so taking the ski lift up was a great option for us, though there were many families that trekked up the trails.

Mountain biking, zip line, horse riding, rock climbing, and other attractions, including a kids day camp (and scheduled huckleberry picking every Saturday!) make this a terrific destination for anyone!

The staff were great but they obviously lack the cleanliness because I contracted staph infection in the 2 hours I was there. They should clean their equipment and facility more thoroughluly. When I tried contacting the management they never got back to me so obviously they don't seem to really care that their facility is a sitting petri dish.

A great ski resort for families, intermediate, and advanced skiiers. Largest ski resort in all of Idaho and Washington. Well known for its variety of terrain including some black diamonds with trees. More of a small-resort feel, though. Unless it's a holiday weekend you'll never see a long lift line here. In the other three seasons, amazing hiking with views of Lake Pend Oreille. Lots of huckleberry bushes, lupine, and bear grass. Zip line and mountain biking in summer.

They black-out the only days most people are able to get there for the powder alliance pass. I will never waste my money on a powder alliance pass again and since Schweitzer didn't want my money I'll ride somewhere else. Icon or Epic pass next year!!

TL;DR: Check weather report before going, Schweitzer more challenging has more lifts and more expensive but MT Spokane is cheaper and you can still have fun.

Ok, before you go check the weather report... The first time I went this season it was ICY and wasn't that great, most lifts were closed due to it. I went again yesterday and it was beautiful at the top but there was a fog covering the lounge and up halfway of the mountain.... Comparing this to MT Spokane, MT Spokane is in my opinion better. Schweitzer is a much larger mountain with 10 lifts compared to MT Spokane's 4. Schweitzer is much more difficult as well, Depending on the lift and which path you take... There are difficult runs on Spokane but if your looking for more challenges or are more advanced then Schweitzer is good. Service was 5/5 but that's to be expected as they do have a reputation to uphold... Anyways here is a beautiful pick from the top of Schweitzer and you can see the cloud coverage all around the mountain... Ofc I dont expect them to be able to fix that as its unrealistic, but just check weather report :D

I love snow and winter sports. High prices and long lift lines are not my favorite thing. Schweitzer has just added two more lifts. I paid $599 for my season pass, but I bought it at the end of last year s season. The liftees are very friendly and except for a few special days in the year, the lift lines are almost non existent due to so many lifts and so many different runs.

We had traveled over to enjoy silverwood park for our family vacation. Its absolutely amazing!! We had a family sweet with huge bunkbeds. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The pool and jacuzzis were hot and clean. Great food and bars. Plenty to keep kids and adults busy. Our family vacation was awesome because of this resort. It was also affordable you get your money's worth here. Cant wait to come back in the winter to enjoy it with the snow! Definitely recommend this place!

Virus heaven. The company appears to be utterly cavalier and even reckless about infecting staff and guests with COVID-19. None of the staff wore face masks, and none appeared to abide with social distancing, coming close to guests (and each other) to talk. The same went for most guests, who were not even encouraged to wear masks or social distance. The only precaution seemed to be some handwashing stations and hand sanitizer on counters.

This is our favorite place to ski and snowboard. We've planned two family vacations around coming here. It has a great vibe and the staff are all very kind and helpful. The property is well maintained and we look forward to coming back each year.

YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL staff! We are mid-80s and took the chair lift up to the restaurant...without skis. Not only were the lift operators efficient, but they were kind. First year in 56 years we have not skied
and the operators were gracious ; they did not make us feel like a bother! Thank you.

Great place, both hotel and ski resort. The hotel had a classic ski lodge feel. There was construction outside on a new hotel, but other than that, it was amazing. The scenic chairlift ride up is also a fun thing to do. At the top, their is a quaint bistro, and lots of hiking. Definitely recommend this place.

Great views and summer trails, and some of the best snow in the winter. The lodges and village are really nice, with several great dining opportunities, and seasonal equipment outfitters. Downhill mt. bike trails are not for the faint of heart.

I have been getting a season pass here for quite some time. It has the best terrian in the area and the most of it as well. Good offerings for all types of guest. Tiny village with all the essentials.

I got the honor of capturing one of the sweetest and intimate elopements on the side of the mountain at Schweitzer earlier this month. The couple drove all the way from Chicago with their dog to get married with just the three of them, their officiant, the witness and myself...the photographer. We got up early that morning to location scout and then met up again at the evening for their official ceremony and bridals. It was absolutely one of the sweetest moments I've ever been a part of. At the end, we ended at Pucci's for a couple beers...the perfect way to end such a beautiful, Idaho summer day.

A big thing for us was the room had no refrigerator or microwave. We were not made aware of this prior to getting to the room. We would like to of known about the European sliding glass door too. Went to
open it and it looked like it was going to fall on us, shut it real fast not realizing it was Room was ok, resort needs some maintenance the only reason I gave a 3 is George who helped us with our luggage was over the top attentive & helpful to us.

We have truly enjoyed our time skiing as a family at the resort. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The runs are tough with opportunity to choose easier ones. There is always someone to help you. Excellent family destination! True heaven.

We loved TAPs bar. Great team. Always enjoyed popping in for a beverage and chat. The views are amazing.

Jordan was awesome at the ski rentals place.

great ski area. usually cold light snow, uncrowded, check online for coupons for tickets. can take a shuttle from base of mountain and leave the driving to experts. parking can get full on busier days. excellent for intermediates and beyond, not best for beginners but there is some terrain for them. be ready to dress for cold temps, especially on the face. Lodges are very nice. There are a lot of options for staying on mountain(pricey) or down in town 30 min away(anywhere from cheapo to pricey.
