I have to admit I was very hesitant to even make the call let alone speak to anyone at the firm. I had been through quite an emotional and degrading experience in only 3 months time at a job.
When I did call I was greeted (every day from that day forward) from their professional and genuinely caring receptionist staff.
I did previously call several other law firms previously.
When I did speak to Brian Heller, he immediately took interest in not only my case but my emotional state. I felt Validated for the very first time from this degrading experience I just went through.
We spent some time on the phone and then I was asked to come in and sit down to formally (or with Brian, informally) meet with him.
We met and he immediately calmed my very anxious mind with his calm and professional demeanor.
He always stayed in touch with me regardless if I had a question calling me back right away or just to see how I was doing throughout this legal process.
Then my big day came. Brian was with me ready to do whatever it took to make sure justice was served.

In my own personal experience these past 2 years, Brian is a very profesional attorney with compassion and empathy beyond words. He truly is an asset to this law firm and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants someone with humility and integrity on your side.

Brian Heller is a super excellent attorney. He is highly professional, thorough with the details, empathetic, passionate, knowledgeable, witty and I am running out of words to describe this man. One cannot ask for a better attorney when it comes to fighting against discrimination, sexual harassment and other employment law related issues. Brian fought for me with great compassion and care that is rare to find these days!

This was by far one of the most horrible interactions I ve ever had with a lawyer far from helpful. Mr. Heller was more judgemental than anything else. I called today with an inquiry about a possible harassment/discrimination case as I was trying to explain he asked well what is it that you want? What is it that you are looking to do because it seems as though you employer took proper action well Mr. Heller for the record I did not call you to take my employers side I called you to get your professional input and advice but instead I got a not interested and dismissive reply. I am so disappointed but glad that I will not be going through with you help .

I am no lawyer but the last thing I would do is make the Victim feel anything other than just that!

Couldn t be happier with my experience here. Davida was so kind and understanding and I felt safe every step of the way. It can be intimidating taking legal proceedings but I felt in very good hands every step of the way.

When I called Schwartz and Perry, it was out of desperation. I was having a very difficult time at work and I realized that my bosses were treating me poorly because of my age. They believed I was incompetent because I was older than them. From the first phone call, I knew that I wasn't crazy! They decided to take my case and advocated on my behalf until the issue was resolved. Not only were they good lawyers, but they treated me with complete respect. They were always upfront and honest. In fact, they treated me like family. I highly recommend them! I will never forget their kindness and support.

Trying to talk to them over the phone and they said "there's no such thing as wrongful termination" which is a lie, and I kept getting cut of while trying to speak over and over and over again. Just rude and clearly looking for easy cases. Wouldn't recommend.

Update: they commented back as if to clear things up(while saying that the man I talked to is wrong in and of itself) or void the point of my review.. VERY professional(sarcasm)

I approached then Schwartz & Perry back in I believe March 2016. It was the second firm I visited. I didn't get a good vibe at all from the first.

Brian Heller took my case. He set realistic expectations. I could see that he was genuinely interested in helping me, and believed that I had a case.

It was, as most of these cases are, a long process. There was a lot of back and forth. Brian and the team at Schwartz Perry &a Heller had to put a lot of time into this.

We were in constant contact for months. It was a stressful time, but I always got straight answers.

On the end everything worked out wonderfully. I can't recommend enough.

On a phone call with this firm , rude, short tempered , and wanted to end call as soon as possible with out even listening to the story. I would never recommend these guys be carful.

Daniel & Brian are two of the most thoughtful, kind and helpful professionals I have ever encountered. Working with them was like working with family. I was updated regularly, with seamless communications regarding the details of my situation. Both Daniel and Brian were super responsive and made time for me promptly. They really took the time to discuss every question I had in detail.

I truly cannot imagine going through a lengthy complex age discrimination lawsuit with any other attorneys! On November 9, 2018 at 4:30 I called the Law firm in an attempt to get some guidance on behalf to my Father. I was received by the receptionist who was was extremely rude and condescending after explaining my Father s situation.

Situation: Father has been working for an Organization as a superintendent for 28 years. The Company was bought out by another Company; the new Company place everyone on a three month probation period and little by little fired a total of seven to eight Superintendents to include my Father, more details are involved but I will rest here. They are all unionized and the union has allowed this to happen to all eight who have each over 25 years in position.

Once I iterated that my Father s English isn t fluent but could explain in more detail the entire situation, the receptionist rudely interrepted me to say that no one in the law firm spoke Spanish and read the the at will employment info of New York State. She was extremely unprofessional and completely inconsiderate. She didn t offer any solution or ask more detail about the situation.

I am remotely serving in the U. S Army and can only assist my father via telephone so to receive this type of response was pretty shocking.
I would strongly discourage utilizing this law firm. First impressions say a lot and it looks like they are known for this.

I have been a practicing attorney for three and a half decades. Davida represented me many years ago, long before the internet, in a discrimination matter. She was fantastic then. Since she represented me I have referred many people to her and she is even more fantastic now--if that is even possible. She listens and is responsive. She is quiet and unassuming. But her adversaries know who she is and know to take her seriously. She is very aggressive and will try your case if necessary. You are in great hands with Davida and her team.

Called to ask question about job situation i get that person is more knowledgeable of law than me but wow as someone who represents your firm and little bit of patience would be nice person I spoke to seemed actually angry first impressions tell a lot bad first impression
