Always a great special available if you look for one. Never had a bad drink and the service is very professional and fast. One of my top favorite bars in State College.

Chrome is a solid spot for dancing downtown. Always a decent DJ and a fun crowd. Their strawberry mojitos are excellent!

Crowded, hookah smoke everywhere. Cheap drinks, good happy hours.

Love this place for the cocktails and music. Great modern atmosphere with an intimate dance floor as well. Good hookah flavor selection too, all electronic so you don't have to handle any coals. Very well ventilated for people not a fan of smoke

Best music in State College. Gets four stars because no one dances. Essentially serves as a pre game spot for the Den.

A bit pricey, but good happy hour drinks. Wish they didn't have a cover since they never have a band.

Chrome is home. Big city lounge feel in a modern college place.

I like bars with hookahs. Usually have a good DJ and the bartenders are quick with taking people's orders. However, the place is too small and getting a table to smoke a hookah is very difficult at times. I feel like there is cover a lot of the time, even more so than other bars, but I could be mistaken about that.

We had the place rented out for a friend's wedding. We had a blast. Drink specials were good. The fun dip shots were awesome.

Great drink selection and excellent specials (many posted on their social media accounts). Prices for cocktails are quite reasonable, especially during happy hour. The interior is a bit generic though - the bar could be anywhere in the world.

make sure you get the table when a group leaves. there are only 6 different tables so pretty small. However, under certain conditions, its lit!

It's an ok place for drinks, but if you want hookah/e-hookah you better off going to Chonic Town if you want something less expensive and don't feel like drinking.

So fun, great music and specials even on Saturday nights, getting there earlyish makes it a blast and you can usually get a seat before the dance floor opens up.

Best deals in town, high quality drinks, fantastic atmosphere, and amazing staff! Simply can not beat the experience you will have here anywhere else in Central Pennsylvania.

It's a four star for the size. Latin nights are the best here. Friendly and attractive bartenders.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Where else can you get $2-3 liquor drinks in State College with high quality that's not Vlad or Crown Russe? They have a Dj come in around 10pm which really gets it going. They also have Tvs throughout so you don't miss the big game.

I love dancing at the Chrome although I think the music has been hit or miss lately. Maybe I am just getting old!
