Awesome selection! I would love to shop here more often but today makes 3 times that I was in the store for more than 15 minutes waiting to be helped and at least 3 people who came in after me got helped first. I was not even greeted after several employees made eye contact with me. I understand being busy but when someone walks into a store ready to spend $200 on a pair of shoes the least you can do is say hi.

This place has everything you need for stylish Bozeman-appropriate wear. High end at a good price.

The store has a good selection of foot wear and my husband swears by their Pac boots. The staff was attentive and very helpful.

Schnee's is a Bozeman staple. I have a pair of their boots for outdoor adventuring and work. They do great things for the community and really promote and support sportsmen. Shopping here for gear and footwear is something you can't miss while in Bozeman.

Pricey but what you would expect for that area.not a lot of selection.

Great knowledge at this store. Owners are very hands-on. Curt and Gray spent quality time explaining the Mystery Ranch line to me. A good place for outdoor enthusiats to go when in. Bozeman!!

Great sporting store for excellent brand clothes, footwear, outdoor equipment and firearms. Staff is friendly and professional.

Schnee's is incredible, with brands that bring out the best Bozeman has to offer. Chaco, Sorel, Birkenstock, Olukai, Boggs. Their customer service is stellar, Curt rocks, and I also love their rewards program, buy 12 get 1 free!

Originally ordered beartooth boots from
Schnee s in 2012. Wore them on a hunt to South Africa. On my way home in the airport I had to take my boots off for sending them through a scanner and when I tied them back up, one of the tie downs on the boot came off the leather. I called them when I got home and told them what happened and they told me to send them back and they would send me a brand new pair. I told him I left for an elk hunt in Colorado a couple of days after I got home and asked if I could wear them on that hunt and then send them back. They said that was fine, so I sent them back after I got home from Colorado and they sent me a brand new pair. Fast forward to today, I still have the same boots. I leave for a hunt in Montana in September, so I sent them back in July to be rebuilt. I was told they would be back to me the first week in August, however because of some employees being off and some hiccups, I just received them back today. Being so late, they overnighted the boots back, rebuilt, at no cost for shipping or the rebuilding! These are absolutely the best quality boots I ve ever owned, and Schnee s stands behind their products. Long story short, they have my business for life!

I have spent thousands at Schnee s and always stop and shop there and eat at Open Range. Best meal in the West. My two reasons for spending the night in Bozeman. To keep it short
the product line at Schnee s is terrific. Customer service lately is less then stellar to put it mildly.

Thank you a million times over for a great winter boot. Got my husband the Schnee's western packer lace ups and no more cold feet. He's a pen rider and he's so happy to have a comfortable warm well made pair of winter riding .boots. Hooray

My favorite shoe store!!! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They sell the best in shoes, clothing, and their own handmade boots and shoes. AWESOME store on Main Street. I highly recommend this company.

They stock the most wonderful wool socks, and I can buy shoes here that actually FIT my feet! (Hard to find a good fit in this town.)

A nice store with a large collection. Some price points were high, but not outrageous for the quality you're getting.

Went in to buy Whites. Sat for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement. An easy $400 sale and once we got assistance we were treated like idiots. This is our 8th pair and even after asking for what we wanted, brought out something else. Piss poor attitude which resulted in us walking out. This is the first review I've ever written for anything. Too bad it's a bad one.

Called ahead of time and asked if someone could size me for whites boots I got told yes someone could I drove an hour to the location only to find out that no one their could size me and I need to get these boots order like yesterday

Randomly stopped at Schnee s because I was looking for a specific pair of shoes to try on, and guess what?! They had them! They were very busy on the Sunday I stopped in, and I had to wait a bit, but the one person helping another lady out did his best to find other workers as quickly as possible to help those of us waiting. The gentleman that came and helped me out was very attentive and grabbed quite a few different sizes and colors of shoes for me. I ended up with exactly the pair of shoes and insoles I wanted. Such a cool store with all kinds of outdoor apparel and even a consignment gun shop in one wing of the building. Very happy with my experience there and the friendly, knowledgeable help and multitude of options for footwear! Will be back!

These boots are garage. All hype because they are Montana based. I bought a pair of Granite VI's as my new pair of winter logging boots. They are not water proof. First day my socks were soaked and my feet were freezing. I thought some snow could have gotten in from the top so the next day I wore gaiters. They were still soaked in from the bottom. They look great and fit well but are not built for actually working in the woods. If you want a pair of boots that look good walking around town and have boutique appeal, look no further. If you want good work boots keep searching. $500 down the pipe.

If you are looking for a great pair of boots for fall, this should be your first stop! Ask about their frequent buyer card. You get a free pair of shoes after you buy twelve. They carry very high-end, including Trask, Frye, Ugg and more.

I worked here decades ago (in college) and I still love to frequent this place. Kurt is the best... he has been the heart of Schnee's and Schnee's has been at the heart of Bozeman. Great selection, fair prices, amazing frequent shopper card.

That 5 should be a 7. These boots are awesome (hunter 16 in). The resoles make them NEW for 100 bucks !!!! They are 15 years old and KICK ASS. 2 week turnaround for resole at xmas. NICE.

Shoevana. This is a real shoe store. They give fittings. They have their own line of products. Great Montana business. Stacy Farmer is the fire the belly of this beast.

2 stars because they are a good, community based and community driven local company. However, I can't shop here because they don't have enough stock or sizes to suit my needs. Most men's apparel only comes in size Medium or larger, and shoes size 9 or larger. Women's shoe size 6 is often out of stock.
They offer special order, but the time I tried that they forgot to place the order and I had to wait several weeks for my shoes to come in.
If you are bigger than we are, you might have better luck.

Superior choice for shoes and outdoor equipment. Cutting back on fishing supplies; going bigger on hunting. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

They sell good shoes. I got my Chacos here and when my first set failed (glue let loose) they handled the warranty replacement for me - I just traded mine in for new!

Wide selection. High-quality selection. If you want better "value," they you'll need to go to Sportsman's Warehouse, etc. Shoes. Outerwear. Hunting gear of all kinds. Will definitely go back.

Just went in to browse but it is a very nice store with friendly service. They will measure your foot size to get you the perfect shoe. They can also streatch/break in shoes you purchase there.

I am an avid lover and wearer of Dansko shoes. Being a teacher, and server on the side in the summer, I am on my feet A LOT! I purchased a pair a sweet black matte Dansko's with my tax return back in February. Long story short, I bought the first pair that was just too tight. I came in about 6 wks ago, and they stretched them for free. These shoes just didn't want to fit my foot. I brought them back today and the customer service was top notch. They not only replaced my shoes with a pair that fit, they helped me pick just the right shoe for me. The knowledge and expertise of the employee that fit my shoe was spot on! I'm SO happy with all of my experiences here at Shnee's! Thank you so much!!
