I got a custom necklace made for me by Karen that was not only a creative idea, but executed flawlessly. Scheherazade is definitely where I am going to go for all future custom jewelry leads!

Purchased a watch; time and date was not set and the watch was not cleaned before I left. I shouldn't have to ask for the when making a purchase. Links were removed and I appreciate that, but the lack of detail in delivery bothered me.

The salespeople are nice and do not pressure to purchase. I visited several times to try the watch on.

Imagine my shock when I walked by today to check on my estate jewelry consignments, and found the store shuttered. As of yesterday: Monday, March 11, 2019. After 50 years in business. No one has contacted me, and the website is still business as usual. Except that it's not. I feel gutted.

I brought my ring in for repair and had to follow up 3 times to to keep the process going. The due date quoted for the project was exceeded by 12 days. Some of the staff were very polite and some of the staff were quite put out by my calls. I would not recommend this shop for repairs as it appears they are more interested in selling big ticket items.

my husband and I recently brought in our stainless steel tension set bands we purchased over 13 years ago from Scheherazade. They both needed buffing and the diamond from my husband's band fell out and was lost. We left our rings at the store and were called back a few days later to say the company no longer was making that style so we couldn't get the diamond replaced. To our surprise, we went back to the store last Sunday to pick up our rings, and lo and behold...a diamond was replaced! No charge!!! Not sure how that happened but it certainly isn't the norm, right? Our experience has always been great and we are convinced this store goes above and beyond.
