I called and got same day service which I was thrilled with. The person who I made the appointment on the phone and the service tech were great. Job was completed quickly and professionally. The only reason I didn t give them five stars was for the price. I thought their pricing was way too high. I was going to have them do another project while they were here but the price for that was way over what I thought they should be charging so will be getting this done by someone else.

Chaz came all the way out to look at my new furnac...

Chaz came all the way out to look at my new furnace that was effected by some flooding that occurred. He went through the whole system to make sure my family and I were safe and then proceeded to make sure the whole system was operating properly. Chaz did an amazing job walking me through his process and helping me remain calm because to be honest I was freaking out a little. After some minor troubleshooting he found the issue repaired it and I was back up and running in no time at all! Chaz even had a few suggestions for me to help protect my furnace from future water issues! I have been more than impressed with Schaal and how their employees conduct themselves. Thank you Chaz! 10/5 stars for you bud

Salesman was super professional. Tried selling a bunch of NASA stuff but we got exactly what we wanted with plenty of options.

Service techs were timely, professional and clean appearance. After the equipment was installed they stayed behind for about an hour answering questions. Took about 9 hours for heat and AC install. Would recommend.

Joe is a very knowledgeable and honest individual. He explained why I was experiencing the issues in my home regarding my HVAC and wasn't just interested in selling me what I thought I needed, but took the time to explain other options that I could try first myself that would save me money and also answer some questions. That was very much appreciated. Great job!

I had the pleasure of having Dave Hulling come out...

I had the pleasure of having Dave Hulling come out to my house to inspect and diagnose my air conditioner/furnace unit...he was prompt and took time throughout his work to inform me on the progress and what was happening every step of the way...and as if that wasn't enough he put oil in my car when I couldn't get the hood up on my car to change it...talk about going above and beyond...highly recommend them #partofdavesquared #seanconnerydoppleganger #thegoodlookingdave #noyoucanthavemyhusbandsmusclecar #awesomeservice #callschaalyall

Got a Furnace AC and Water heater installed and the Chad and his work mate working that day were fantastic and professional. I then had Spencer and his work mate do my duct cleaning. These guys were also professional and very courteous. Schaal is really the best place to get HVAC done.

Don't trust them they send out there Plummer just to tell you that they don't do the work that you told them that they need to do. Never again......they knew that the floor was soft and the toilet flange was broken. So still charging you money so if you are poor people like me then don't just throw your money away

I was very happy with Schaal. I had a LivingSocial voucher that was expiring in a day. I had called over a week ago to set up the furnace tuneup and cleaning, but there was a chance due the cold snap and service demands that I might not be able to use my voucher. Fortunately Dave was able to come by and I was his last call of the day. He took care of my furnace, answered all of my questions, and then I ended up buying a new water heater (mine is 12 years old and showing some issues), and getting a service plan, and setting up an appointment to discuss a new a/c to take advantage of rebate and 10% off due to service plan benefits! Dave was very friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciated his help!

As this business is located very close to my house...

As this business is located very close to my house I had used Schaal's exclusively for 20 years on an as needed basis. In 2006 I had to have the hot start igniter (a ceramic heating element that fires the gas) replaced. This part was to have a lifetime warranty, and the warranty is even verified by the sticker that the technician at that time placed on the side of my cold air return. On April 9 2015 we had a technician come out as our furnace was again showing the telltale signs of the igniter failing. Pat was the technician dispatched. Upon arrival, well, lets just say he made my wife so uncomfortable she didn't want to be in the same room with him so she excused herself to another part of the house. Once downstairs, he kept mumbling nonsensical, strange phrases to himself while "diagnosing" our furnace problem. I understand and have practiced the fine art of 'talking things out', but some of these ramblings were profanity laced and had NOTHING to do with the issue at hand. I don't think he realized I was in the next room and could hear every word clearly. Upon diagnostic completion, his EXACT words were "I think it's the control board" and indicated it would cost right around $800 to replace it. Obviously we were more than skeptical about the accuracy of his diagnosis and unwilling to pay that amount of money based solely on his guesswork. When queried about the hot start igniter part warranty and the history we have with Schaal's, he indicated that since we did not have an annual service agreement our lifetime warranty on that part was now void. REALLY? Not what I was told when it was replaced nor during any other service call prior to 2014. Between that statement, his very strange and discomforting demeanor towards my wife, and his sketchy conclusions as to the problem at hand, we decided just to get him out of our house. Since it was April and the weather was warming we put this issue off until September 2015. So in September 2015 we had a tech from another company (which uses union contractors) come out and take a look. Completely different diagnosis! Turns out the problem was NOT the control board. The problem was two-fold: He replaced the flame sensor and (surprise, surprise) the ceramic hot start igniter and voila! Problem 100% resolved for less than $200.

Admittedly this infuriated me that Pat, the Schaal's tech, got it COMPLETELY WRONG. Therefore several weeks ago I called Schaals and explained that I was very upset that I spent over $70 for the April 2015 service visit that provided a completely inaccurate diagnosis, just a complete waste of money. The receptionist that took my call indicated that Jamie, the Service Manager, would be calling me back to resolve this. Crickets. At this point I anticipated as much and don't ever expect to hear anything from them ever again, which is just fine with us. I found out that field technicians in some companies get a large commission on the sale of parts regardless of whether the part fixes the problem or not. I also found out that control board replacement is often used as the fallback solution when the technician has NO CLUE as to what is really wrong with a furnace. We felt that we had been ripped off and would have been taken for a LOT more money had we used them and not called a rival company. This is NOT the same Schaal's that we had dealt with prior to the change of ownership, and we STRONGLY recommend avoiding Schaal's at all costs.

Dylan, our service representative, was fantastic! He was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable & quick! I have elderly parents living we me & we returned from an out of state trip to find our furnace not working and a very chilly house, this Sunday. We called Schaal & Dylan finished up a call and was at our house, within an hour! He had us up and running, quickly. Thanks to him & Schaal for their great service!!
