Great golf course, nice tennis courts, beautiful club. Too frequent and expensive assessments, primarily to benefit golfers

Although hope valley country club is beautiful i feel very uncomfortable there... There is alot of racism and discrimination going on from the employees. Also the kitchen area is filthy dirt and grime everywhere... Instead of rewashing the dishes you are served on they wipe them with a dry towel... I have never seen food prepared in such a discusting environment ... Yes the course is lovely but i would not suggest becoming a member it is a total waist of money and u will pay out the wazoo

Attended a wedding here. Food and staff were excellent. Venue had great views. Parking setup not the best for larger events.

Love the golf course and the golf staff but the club is poorly run. Every year we had assessments as the management does not run the club fiscally responsibly. We moved out of state and we got a bill for $300 - 18 months after we officially left the club. I have no idea why but now they have a collection agency hounding us and threatening us that they will ruin our credit rating.

Have the pleasure to play this course once a year for a charity event. The staff are always kind and the course is on great shape.

This is a true Old Money Country Club, and we've enjoyed every visit!

Elegant setting and superb service for my daughter's wedding!

There for a wedding reception, food was delicious, wait staff was efficient; but director was not attentive to bride and groom. She popped in and out and activities didn't flow smoothly. Also got different answers from different people.

We were here food a wedding reception. The food in mass was real good, grazing foods were good, drinks flowed and tasted good. The staff was pleasant and helpful, parking was sufficient for 150.

I recently had my wedding at Hope Valley Country Club which was directed by Kelly and Ashley, the event coordinators. From the very beginning, these ladies were professional and willing to accommodate every request. They made the entire planning process so pleasant and the day-of coordination stress-free for me and my family. The food served was the best I've ever had at a large event. We continue to get multiple compliments from our guests about the beautiful venue and food. I would highly, highly recommend using Hope Valley Country Club for any event.

It's ok. Probably overrated. The Burns' Supper was mediocre. Not bad, just not great. Maybe better next year.

A Donald Ross hidden gem. Terrific green complexes with a challenge unique to each one. Thoroughly enjoyable.

By far and away the best greens I have played in the state of North Carolina. In fact, they might be the best greens I have ever played. Their Championship Bermuda greens are fast and true. Even after a day of top dressing, the greens were in perfect shape.

This is an old school Donald Ross design that doesn't read very long on the scorecard but plays longer with several approach shots that are severely uphill. Remember to play a club or two more when hitting uphill.

The sand in the bunkers is amazing, the course layout is fabulous and the fairways are impeccable. I would play this course several times a week if I had the opportunity.

If you can play any private country club in the Triangle make certain it is Hope Valley Country Club.
