Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Beautiful historic site as well.

Lovely cozy, quirky restaurant with a homely feel to it. Service was prompt and staff were all so attentive and friendly. Food was great!!! Loved the selection of wine as well. As it was my first visit, am not sure if the menu was tweaked or customer to restrictions. Was hoping for a wider selection . Still,it was great ! Thank you!

Very cozy and welcoming. The service was very friendly and efficient and the tagliatelle was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. The local house Chardonnay was excellent, as was the arancini and the tiramisu. Looking forward to going again. Remember to book!

Absolutely wonderful. The beef was cooked to perfection, one of the best steak I had. The setting was cosy and had a real sense of history, it's a place with a story. The food was authentic and delicious, I had carpaccio for entree, it was gastronomical heaven, I could eat that for every meal and be a very happy person. The service was attentive and the delivery was impeccable, the food also came out speedily. It is clear that the staff and owner really takes pride in this place, and it shows. They have an extensive wine list, with a great selection of local and Italian wines on offer, reasonably priced. Have a look at the ceiling when you are here, the stained windows are rather remarkable. I cannot honestly think of anything to fault here, if you are after authentic Italian food, good atmosphere and amazing service then this place is a must visit. I think this place will be particularly nice for a romantic date, you will sure to make your date very happy and stay in the good book for a long time.

Beautiful, cosy little venue with friendly, attentive staff. I had the gnocchi with ragu and my partner (half Italian) and I agreed it was probably the best gnocchi we've ever had. My partner had the zampone (stuffed pig's trotter) and thought it was delicious. Both meals were generous in size and served quickly after we ordered (we were there on a Saturday night when it was getting busy). We'll definitely be returning to La Scarpetta for the amazing food, service and ambiance.

Service was with a smile, and professional too. Refreshing really, food was soulful, I had home made tagliatelle cooked perfectly, the dish exceeded my expectations, slow cooked beef in white wine sauce with mushroom. The pan fried octopus was fantastic, caramelised and beautifully cooked. Their wine by the glass range should be made larger, some people only want a glass to finish off a day even if they had 1 or 2 of the more expensive bottles open. Apart from that ambience, friendliness and taste everything was on point. Dinner for 2, fish dish and a pasta dish 2 glasses of wine and an octopus starter $104 very good value for money.

Staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. Recommend the gnocchi and ravioli! Best fresh pasta ever. Small portions but found it to be quite filling especially if you shared an entree before main course

The food in here very nice and the staff are very friendly. The portions quite small and a bit pricey but very enjoyable.

Handmade pasta was perfectly al dente. Desserts were super delicious - we had the panna cotta and a cake with ice cream on top. We also tried both the house red and house white, which were excellent value for the quality (better than some of the paid wine tastings we had the next day!). A must visit, and best to make a reservation!

My Nonna made the best gnocchi ever. This comes in an extremely close second. And the ragu even rivals my wife's 5 star joys. Highly recommended. Prices not ridiculous either.

Fantastic pastas. Great service. Beautiful, casual, comfortable ambience. Was here for our first dinner in Margaret River, and if you like fresh pasta and Italian food in general, this will not disappoint.

Edit: went back a second time on our third day and it was excellent again. The lamb, osso bucco, mushroom, and clams pasta were all beautifully done.

Hard to pick what's better the food or the lovely service. Both are amazing.

The food is amazing !
We use to come here all the time when they did breakfast but have found out on this trip they are only dinner now. This is authentic Italian and I highly recommend this, especially the fungi pasta dishes.
