Outstanding rooms, great for business stays. Good food and rooms. Family also can enjoy and have fun. A great price for such type of a hotel very much in the city and easy to find... Assured great stay! There is a mall beside it which makes it nicer and more worthy

The location and ambience deserve 5 stars. The rooms were well serviced and very comfortable with beautiful view of the city. Food was good but the variety could be more to cater to multiple taste buds. The staff were courteous but need a bit more training on table serving manners and guest engagement.
They may review current check in process and provide both options - completing it in the comfort of rooms after moving in or doing at the reception itself.
Overall a great stay.

I was a loyal customer of Sayaji till last year. Every year whenever I travelled to region of south Maharashtra, I invariably booked my stay in Sayaji as I found property very good, staff supportive and food tasty.
However, I was there for three nights last about ten days back and found that the quality of response has gone down and that food as well as services have deteriorated significantly.

This is a caution to fellow travellers who may book the hotel based on past good experience/s.
1. Room service has gone down significantly.
2. It has not only become painfully slow but also I have found that their staff did not follow instructions given. I don't know what's the issue as I spoke to them local language of Marathi.
3. I found that Menu cards have been removed from room tables and upto 4th floor the residents don't even have a dedicated line to order food or a drink. They need to call the reception who directs you to another line which then connects you to the kitchen. This was not the case earlier.
4. The menu does not offer you anything that you can offer to kids below 3 years. Pathetic. I had to take my granddaughter out twice to a neighbouring restaurant to feed her soft chappatis she could chew.
5. Despite detailed instructions to make soft chappatis or rotis or parathas, they twice offered us tandoori parathas! And that too after good one hour wait.
To be honest, this was not the hotel that I once immensely liked. The change seems to have occured in the past one year. Is this carelessness because the staff has changed or due to sheer arrogance on account of getting more business than what they can handle? This is a sad situation for travellers.

Please look at the two pictures enclosed. They tried to accomodate several teenagers on residential floors from a school. I have no objection to kids being accomodated in the hotel. But the people of duty should have thought of allocating them a floor close to ground. These kids were accomodated randomly which created traffic jams at elevators. On several occasions I and my wife had to climb down five floors to access lunch room. Once we had to climb up five flights.

I am deeply disappointed.
