Beautiful historical opera building at night and at day light.
Beautiful historical opera building at night and at day light.
A very beautiful historic building, but if you know it from beer advertising, you are a little disappointed. It looks much more pompous and golden. I almost didn't realize it.
Were in Nutcracker. Super ballet, nice staff and good acoustics.
Very, very beautiful building! Just charming and great!
Wow what an impressive structure. The entrance area is particularly magnificent, unfortunately I didn't have the time to see the inside. But I will definitely make up for that.
The organization of the concert we watched was perfect. We easily located our sests and then the exit was fast as well. With many different doors we were out in less thab 5 minutes. I only dont give a 5 stars because my wife had some troubles to find the bathroom as there was no sign.
A royal court theater in the shape of a rotunda. It was truly royal.
The tour was really great - highly recommended. 45 minutes and not too slow, not too fast. Attention: In August renovation work is taking place and parts of the stage are not visible. But otherwise it was really very nice.
Like all other buildings and attractions in Dresden beautiful and impressive. Should I be in Dresden next time and have more time, first a nice tour will be made
Amazing atmosphere due to the building. The acoustics in the hall are excellent! The best opera experience for me in a long time.
Only the prices for performance and drinks on site are outrageous, so a star deduction.
Whether as a guest or as a participant in the opera, a treat for the mind and soul.
The opera has good acoustics and beautiful features. If I feel comfortable, I like to go back to a performance.
Just one of the many objects to be seen, Dresden is very interesting in terms of history and the many buildings from the Baroque period
Excellent location! It's best to see an opera or ballet so that the experience is complete.
Very interesting and informative. A MUST for visitors to Dresden!
Ambitious guide, interesting history, interesting building
Highly recommended, sumptuous impressive ambience !! The guidance in the run-up to the event is very interesting!
I saw the Magic Flute here and took part in a guided tour. The guide was very bad, shorter than advertised and did not provide any information you could get from the internet in three minutes. The building itself is of course worth a visit.
In this context, to enjoy this sublime splendor the Don Giovanni .... a lasting impression!
I never got inside. Did not have enough time. Next time I ll definitely go to the middle.
A direct hit. What luck to be present in the first row of such a superbly performed opera.
An unforgettable experience.
A MUST in Dresden. At least a tour is required ... and always remember ... THAT is (almost) everything made of plaster! Fascinating!
The historic building is beautiful and the show has excellent sound effects.
It's old and nice. Also for children learning something.
Toilets very hidden only by asking at the cloakroom found
Beautiful opera from the outside and very beautiful inside too. However, the performances are more geared towards the tourist flows. Vocally and in terms of the staging there is still a lot of room for improvement
It's awesome, the sound, the music , the performers, Carmen, we'll be back.
Great interesting tour of the opera house without reservation Duration 45 minutes
Unique experience and very good ambience. Should be booked 6 months in advance. In any case, it is recommended.
A jewel of opera houses and what better place to see and hear Wagner.
Performance Carmen. Very good idea. Ambience beautiful (Burgtheater Vienna sends its regards). Like almost everywhere, huge snakes selling drinks in the break. Mondays performance very well attended.
Except for the scaffolding, a really fantastic building. As a photographer, however, it was relatively easy to mirror the sides so that the scaffolding was ultimately no longer visible. I'm curious to see how it will look there in a few years, when the construction work is completed
The highlight of Dresden, many ignorant tourists confused it with the famous Radeberger brewery advertising. Does not have anything to do with it.
A guide is definitely worth it. Sometimes you still get leftover tickets for performances. Location right next to the world-famous kennel.
Incredibly beautiful and wonderfully exposed building on the banks of the Elbe, but by that location is ravaged by floods.
Lovely place. I recommend visiting during your stay in Dresden.
Incredibly beautiful building. So incredible that I can not put it in words. You should visit the opera in any case and also book a performance. One feels transported back in time. The opera itself (the dead city) was certainly great for opera fans, but rather nothing for me personally. But I wanted to see and experience the opera in its element and I can only recommend that. Just the architecture in the staircase is sensational. And then the balconies, ceilings, chandeliers, etc.
Very nice by the beautiful silhouette of the old town
From the outside, although beautiful but still quite unspectacular unfolds the Semper Opera in its interior an incredible beauty
Very hard-working, friendly staff. The pre-ordered drinks perfectly prepared during the break, the whole atmosphere phenomenal. A fairytale-like evening! Pre-order taxi rather complicated, but wait for a taxi in good luck
Inside is beautiful, but inside is also more being than appearance ... The many pillars look like Mamor, but they are not. But really great. Personally, I did not find the piece we had seen in the evening so great (Magic Flute). The stage presented itself on the whole evening, only through three doors .... I would have wished for a "changeable" set design. So it was "lame" ....
Very nice building. The selection of food and drinks during the break is not particularly extensive, but is still sufficient. Definitely worth a visit to buckets.
A visit with a guide should definitely join in ... very impressive ... but more appearance than his ...
A very impressive building. Not only from the outside, but also from the inside. Very pompous and inviting. I think that not only a tour is worth seeing but also the performances. The employees live and love their job.
Great Theatre/Opera house #3.
Fantastic insight on the tour, great old photos, and an interesting place to visit.
The downside is that we didn't/weren't allowed to stray too far from the small group to take photos inside the theatre. Bit sad after paying 3EUR for a photo license on top of the ticket fees!
A special and pleasant experience for an emblematic building, reborn from its own ashes and the effort of wonderful people
Impressive stage, lodges and acoustics; no microphones and speakers are used during the performances
We were really lucky and participated in a guided tour through the Semperoper!
Second time here and it was as beautiful as the first
