Terrific. The house, the staff and of course the artists, terrific.
Terrific. The house, the staff and of course the artists, terrific.
Nice architecture, inside looks like an authentic opera house.
There is a lot of difference in the level of vocalists.
Nothing original, the very regular guided tour, we did it in German and not even the Germans themselves understood the guide, but hey it's something that is obligatory to see in Dresden even though Operas and Theaters are much better in Europe, this one only bears the name and its history.
Incredibly beautiful in the evening. A guide is advisable.
Nice great building with a forecourt. Costs admission. Very nice to look at from the outside.
If you don't see a performance in the Semperoper, you should definitely take a guided tour. Amazing what has been achieved here, all due respect!
A cultural treat ..... great idea, was definitely worth a visit.
The Semperoper has to be seen. A very impressive building
The opera in itself is worth a visit.
The leadership as well.
The piece:
The Magic Flute, a production like in a school performance. One big disappointment.
Beautiful building with a great history, always worth a visit
It was destroyed in the war but rebuilt. Old style opera theater. There is no passage on the first floor between the plains, and you can only take seats from both ends. There are cloaks and people dressed up gather. A tie is not always necessary, but casual clothes are NG. The orchestra is a member of Staatskapelle.
a visit from the inside is the best thing to do at a concert
Looking for a place for ideology? Here you have it!
The Semperoper in Dresden. A place of fellowship and ideology. Instead of showing their true colors, they hung either hammer, circle, wreath of honor, CDU or now rainbow in the wind.
It couldn't be more political than in the opera. Not in the SED = no entry!
Not rich or in the CDU = no entry!
Not rich or LGBT = no entry
A pure experience. The whole ambiance is just wonderful. The artists who appeared there were also a single treat. Included here are the young artists with their performances violins and double bass. Gladly again.
Beautiful and impressive ... we were in the nutcracker - classically staged and a great ensemble - both the ballet and the orchestra.
The sound was really good ... I mean the acoustics in particular.
In terms of construction, you felt like you were back in the past century ... in a positive sense.
Only the distance between the chairs is very narrow and rather uncomfortable for longer people.
The following applies throughout the building: if you like the old, take a close look everywhere and look at all the loving details.
We were in Dresden in spring and took the opportunity to have a look at the Semperober. We were very impressed by this baroque building and took part in a guided tour. Really shouldn't be missed
Even for the Semperoper the evening before, the visit is highly recommended.
Great food, everything was delicious. Also has its price. Nevertheless a great experience.
A huge opera, full of modern technology. You can really tell the story of the opera - the tours are really good! The shows have a great price, really fair! Definitely one of the best operas in Germany!
A wonderful opera that convinces with breathtaking elegance both inside and out. For all non-Dresdeners, it's not a brewery!
Was a nice tour, especially inside it looks really chic, gives very price-conscious tours that are worthwhile, even if I prefer to look at the visual things than to listen: D
Took part in a guided tour. Very well. Recommendable.
Dresden Opera - Semper is the third bodacle in this square. The first of 1838 - 41 brought by Gottfried Semper underwent a fire in 1869. The second one, built in 1871-78, was destroyed in 1945. The last reconstruction took place until 1985. It is shown here on the modernized stage, especially by Richard Strauss. I recommend this place for music lovers and the outer body of the building for all tourists and globetrotters.
Have nothing to do with culture and stuff. But it is worth a tour.
Fascinating this house! Everything here is only an appearance. Entertainment ... You dress up ... The actors dress up ... The play is fictional. Escape from reality ... for a few hours.
The Semperoper is like that too! A work of art in itself. At this point, rebuilt three times according to the original ideas of Mr. Semper! The suspected marble columns look deceptively real! Or?
Treat yourself to a guided tour of the Semperoper!
If you are lucky, Mrs. Salz will be your tour guide! I was excited!
A very impulsive architecture, during a guided tour of the Semperoper you will learn many interesting details.
Very nice to look at and the tour was instructive and really nice
Nice opera atmosphere, big theater avaliable
Recommended to visit
Guided tour of the Semper Opera even behind the scenes just looked impressive
Kinderkarten MUCH too expensive, how do you want to bind youth to such a house.
Despite Corona, we were able to experience a performance in the Semperoper: "Tosca Essenz" by Pucchini. Despite the shortened program, a successful opera performance and a real highlight in these special times. Highly recommended.
Beautiful building in a great city. You feel relegated back in time. Must see.
Impressions on youtube: FliWoFilm
So beautiful and a lot of artistik detail beyond the art spectacular
Beautiful building also worth seeing inside friendly tours
The advertisement is lying, there is no beer. Very nice ambience, great costumes, beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Prices for drinks are reasonable for an opera. Prices for cards are sometimes not without ....
Incredible architecture, very clean and tidy Dresden city
Outstandingly entertaining and interesting tour with an art history student. Absolute must for anyone who comes to this city for the first time.
Beautiful building, I strongly recommend to do a tour with you.
Absolutely worth seeing and a "must" for every visitor to Dresden
The fireworks at Semperopernball was beautiful !!! Is absolutely worth a visit !!
Superb ambience and great acoustics. Here you can enjoy operas, musicals, classical concerts and much more.
Semperoper, the opera house is located near the Elbe River in the historic centre of Dresden
The bombing of Dresden during II world war and subsequent firestorm, leaving only the exterior shell standing. In 1985, the opera's reconstruction was completed, almost identical to its appearance before the war.
