Got a call from the dealership about a car we had been talking about. They wanted to know if I was going to swing by. 15 minutes later I arrived and come to know that the car was not even there, but had been sold to someone else. 34 mile drive for nothing.

They sold me a lemon, 6 month after purchasing 2012 Hyundai Accent, I had to get a new engine luckily insurance covered it. When I purchased the car the car lighter outlet, did not work, I was told to not worry about it. Now none of my charging outlets work and neither do my turning signals or hazards, over $1k to repair. Then they want to offer me only $500 if i trade it in. I don't think I will be purchasing my next vehicle here. Do not let me get started on the slow auto service.

I have been buying/leasing Kias for many years now with Savage Kia and I have never been disappointed in the service, attention to detail, or selection. Mike Kunder has always been our sales rep and he is phenomenal at his job. Not only does he explain all your available options, but he goes over every detail of your purchase from the vehicle itself to the financing fine print. I would highly recommend Savage Kia to anyone looking for a great car buying experience.

Mike tried to find one for me. He couldn t locate one through Savage Kia but saw one at another dealership and told me about it. I ended up buying the that one. I appreciate Mike helping me find the truck even though I didn t get it there.

The best thing about my experience here was the waiting area. I waited 2 hours longer than they said and only needed to have stickers put on. That was after my vehicle being there for weeks. I have only ever had good experiences before with other Kia dealers. I am so disappointed. I have had my Sorento since 2005 and recommend Kia to EVERYONE. I will NEVER recommend Savage. Not to mention the attentiveness of the service counter attendants was subpar. I give this one star for the popcorn!

They just blew our mind again. Went in for service, blown radiator, extended warranty not valid...no problem...these guys took care of us...they are the best in the business.We bought 2 cars!! Aimee Jones, Jason, Jeremy and Joey are awesome. It was the first time we have ever enjoyed buying a car, and Ive had 5 in 3 years. They really went above and beyond, catered to our needs and wants, and made the deals happen. We are Savage Kia for life!!

I really wanted to like this place. Sales staff are very nice. The general manager is nice. IMO The service department is totally bizaare. They misplaced my car key (they eventually found it).... they took me outside to explain why they couldnt fix my car under the warrenty excepting that they went to the wrong car! I want to use this place for service but I dont trust their work. Please correct this. I want to feel confident with your service.

Shout out to Brian Palumbo. One of the greatest car salesman I have ever met. The atmosphere was friendly and there was no pressure at all. He made sure that I walked away with the car that I ABSOLUTELY WANTED at my budget price. He was very professional and polite; as well as, very attentive and went above & beyond to help me. Brian is very trustworthy, he listened to my needs, and the process was quick and easy. There was no games and the final price was exactly as negotiated (there was no last-minute surprises) or changes. After I bought my car, Brian called and checked up on me and made sure I knew how to operate my vehicle and all the features in my car. I definitely recommend Brian. I will definitely be visiting him in the future when my lease is up. 10 stars all the way.

We called early on the day and made an appointment for 4pm. We went in not knowing what we could really get, not thinking we could leave with a brand new van. Anthony had everything prepared for what we were looking for when we got there. He had us approved in less then an hour. They cleaned up the 2018 Sedona and made it look amazing for us. We are beyond ecstatic about our new van and the deal they got us. They had us in our vehicle taking it home before 630pm. I would recommend anyone to go see Anthony. He's an amazing sales man and did everything he could for us. Made it the quickest and best experience we've had buying any car. Thank You, Ryan and Athena Tyrrell

Very friendly, talk a little fast and aggressive, had to come back in twice to fix paperwork and prices seemed a bit high based on Kias online quotes. Not super quick once you choose to buy but very friendly every visit and in the end I did get a good deal

5 Stars because I'm so happy and just wanna be in the car all day. I went in looking for a three row car to fit all my littles and its been tough but Anthony got my family and me In a beautiful Sorento thats even better than we had planned for. I'm super gratefeul that he had our interest at heart and didn't get over on us, he got us a better deal then we went looking for!!!

If you are ready for Shocktober...go no further than the service department! All I needed was my key fob put together and programmed, but I was told I needed to purchase one from them. I left their zombie like after dropping over $200.00. No one could give me a definite price, so of course I had to pay the highest one. I won't be back & of course the waiting area is comfy in order to soften the blow from the bill. Do your research and protect your pockets ladies!

Everyone that I worked with was awesome and explained everything to me. Kumar was a great salesman! He even came in on his off day to get me in my Stinger a few days earlier than we anticipated! Want to thank Kumar and everyone else that I worked with or talked to during my time at Savage Kia. I will definitely tell people I know to check this place out if they are looking to get a new/used car in the future.

Don't buy here they are over priced and don't go over their vehicles very well. Even when they say they will fix something they either don't or don't do it properly. Make sure you take pictures at point of sale and move all the seats to make sure there is no rips in the interior and anything they say they will fix get it in writting and take pictures after they "fix" it. Just don't buy here. Your money cpuld go further else where. And whatever you do DON'T finance through Kia financial.

Avoid this dishonest place! Bait and switch when it comes to new car sales. They tell you one thing via email then jack the prices up when you're in there trying to make a deal and they fail to mention the "new" car is a demo and has 3,500+ miles on it.

The service department is also dishonest and they try to trick you into getting extra unnecessary services. Also, their service estimates are way off, e.g. $262 isn't around $200, it's over 30% more!!

My experience with Savage Kia was wonderful, they got the exact car I wanted, made the purchasing process very easy, and got my monthly payments in the price range i could afford. Also before I left it was detailed to perfection and the gentleman who sold me the car stayed a bit after hours to show me all the bells and whistles of the car. All in all my purchase at Savage Kia has certainly been a positive one, I will certainly be returning in the future.

Hate this place well I shouldn't say everything in it the sales were very friendly took time to know me we his name is Adam now when you need your car serviced that's a different story I scheduled a appointment two weeks in advance they took my car to see what was wrong with it they could not figure it this is 3 days later I called them for a update no one knew what was wrong yet so they called dodge get my car there and dodge serviced my car this is in the process of 7 days it took them 7 days to flush and restart my transmission so 10 days total not one phone call or anything I called them they say my car is done spoke with a j the manager he started talking as I was talking and we both talked at the same time for a good 10 seconds and I finally said I will come in tomorrow he laughed and said I won't be in tomorrow so I said I will talk to someone above or equal to you and he laughed again and said ookkay so I go there the next day and told a sales manager and he was very nice said he'll take this to the Gen manager and I was leaving a mechanic named Eddie started insulting me saying you don't even know what you bought you bought a snowmobile on wheels and started arguing with me saying your lucky we even took your car to dodge to get fixed and we'll you should have bought a kia not a dodge it's sales fault for not telling you its a snowmobile on wheels all while Kelly is trying to stay neutral I asked Eddie I said I need your name and he said hold on I will get it for you and walked away the disgust in service I received with them is unbareable I will never ever ever ever ever recommend this places service department to anyone like I said the sales is fine the service department sucks a real big waste of time huge headache

Best car buying experience that I ever had! James G. was the best, courteous, and most knowledgeable salesman that I ever came across. He answered all of my questions, little to no haggling with the underwriter, and test drove 2 vehicles and was in and out within 3 hours. Where, anymore, can you go car shopping and leave in 3 hours!? Great experience overall!!

I bought my car in 2012. I have used the service department regularly since. The service department employee, Kelly, TJ, etc, have always been very nice. On one occasion I was having my car worked on and I was waiting for it. The service took a little longer than anticipated and Kelly was very apologetic and gave me a future discount on an oil change. More recently I really learned that customer satisfaction was number 1 in their book. A mistake was made and I had to wait quite a long time to get my car. Kelly, Bernie, and the whole dealership did everything they could to make it up to me. Thanks Savage Kia

I have brought my Optima here twice after having a tire issue diagnosed at my usual tire shop. I explained the issue to the service dept. when I scheduled my initial appointment. I brought my car for the appointment thinking they were going to fix it, but an hour later they had only rediagnosed the problem that I had already explained to them. They ordered a part and told me to come back when it comes in. I came back to have the part installed, sat there for an hour and a half while they also addressed a recall, only to be called to the desk and told that they "couldn't find a problem with the tire." I reminded them that I was there for a new part, not for an evaluation of a problem, and after another twenty minutes I was told it was fixed. Now, three weeks later my tire is STILL leaking. The car is only 8 months old, I should not have to deal with this many trips to a service department. I will be making a longer drive to a different Kia service department that is hopefully competent enough to listen to their customers and do things right the first time.

The wife and I were thinking about getting another vehicle since the growth of our family has increased to 6 members, so we needed something bigger. I was ok with the vehicle we already owned, but she wanted something with more room, since she was the main driver. I agreed, and she began to shop around. After looking for a bit, she noticed Kia had two particular models that were what she was looking for. She never was a "minivan" person, because of the way they looked and rode. So she called Kia in Reading to see if they stocked what she was looking for. She got ahold of James, and he was so helpful to her that when we decided to make the trip, we linked up with him.

James was our guy start to finish and was very informative of Kia vehicles past, present and future. When she told him what we were looking for, he took us to the "minivan" area. While on our way there, I was wondering how it was going to go over with her. Once we arrived, he explained how they aren't what the conventional "minivans" used to be. Going over the spec, and walking us around the vehicle, I could tell, that the 2018 Sedona he was showing her, was the one for us.

For us the experience was great, we got the vehicle that had the room for the growing family, AND best of all it doesn't look or feel like a conventional "minivan". If you're in the market for a great family car, with tons of gadgets and room, go talk to James.

Working with the service department is always a pl...

Working with the service department is always a pleasure. They are always friendly when you walk in and they get the job done. Recently, my engine completely died on me. Thankfully it was under warranty and could get fixed. The whole time while figuring out when my car was going to be done, Kelly or AJ always had an answer, whether I liked it or not (part was on backorder, nothing at fault of their own). AJ went above and beyond to get the part to the dealership faster then was expected (November). I got my car back on the 7th after not having it since Aug 26th. I am so thrilled that they got the part in and fixed my car sooner then expected. You will not go wrong when dealing with Kelly or AJ.

I absolutely LOVE my Sportage and all of the extras it had come with. This is my first SUV and I couldn t have asked for a better one along with the experience and professionalism of Mike who helped make the deal as smooth and as easy as possible. He seems to love what he does and knows the Kia name so well that I don t think I had one question to ask him once he told me all about the car. I would recommend him and this dealership to anyone who would need a car with a pleasant experience to go along with it!!! Can t speak highly enough of my new car or my experience Mike!!

Ok, so I m a Kia return customer. Recently my Kia Soul, that I absolutely loved was involved in a hit and run and instead of paying my insurance deductible, I decided it was just time to move into a vehicle with a bit more space. I travel the Tri-state area very much and was in need. I went into the dealership at about 2:30pm with my parents this past Friday, November 9th (my dads birthday) with the thought of taking a look at the Kia Sorento and going from there. We had dinner reservations for my fathers birthday so I knew, having only an hour and a half to spare, we would not be closing any deal that day. Upon entering, we were very warmly greeted by Anthony Castro. He was eating but promptly stopped to attend to us. I was clear on my expectations and let him know that I was only there to look, that we had dinner reservations for my dads birthday, and that no matter what, I had to be out of there by about 4:15. Anthony took care of us as if we were family. He was very down to earth, answering all of my questions with a truthful response. He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the vehicles. Anthony kept his promise. We were out of there on time. He gave me different options of vehicles that I hadn t even considered. He took all of my information and said he would work on the numbers that night and not to worry, that by the time we would meet again in the morning, I would have several options. We left and proceeded home to get ready for the birthday celebration. Within half an hour of leaving, I receive a phone call from Anthony. He tells me that he had great news! He had different financing options on the vehicles I liked and that he didn t want me going out to celebrate my fathers birthday with any worries, as buying a car can be stressful. He comforted my worries and made me feel confident in the decision I was making. I had made an appointment to see him upon the dealership opening at 9 am and by 8:30, Anthony was calling to ask how the celebration went and that he had wonderful news. My one major request was that my payments remain in the same range, even though I knew that I would end up still owing from my Soul and I would have to roll the additional into this new loan.... Can I tell you, once again, Anthony came through on his word. I arrived at the dealership right at 9. I was shown three vehicle options. I ended up loving the value and space of the Kia Optima! The trunk is huge and it is so roomy inside. It has the feel of a luxury vehicle without the price. I took it for a test drive and the handle it has is beyond compare. He told us that his wife owns one and she loves it. After the test drive, we sat down, did the numbers, and once again, Anthony followed through with his word. I ended up with payments only a few dollars more, even after added Gap insurance, and 10 year/ 100,000 miles BUMPER TO BUMPER Warranty! Not to mention, free inspections and first year of oil changes free of charge! Can you believe that all was said and Done by 11am!!!! I drove away with a brand new 2019 Kia Optima in Snow White HASSLE FREE! Honestly, Anthony Castro and the team here are above and beyond capable, knowledgeable, warm and friendly, by far, the best car salesman I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! I highly recommend to all that if you are looking to purchase, finance, or lease a vehicle, look no further than the Kia dealership on Route 61 in Reading! Ask for Anthony and tell him I sent you ;)

I'm looking for a vehicle my wife and I have very specific and challenging limitations. My wife is 5 foot tall and I'm seven feet tall so trying to find a vehicle that we can both be comfortable in and operate is definitely a large challenge. Over our 100-plus years of Driving Experience we have limited our choices to one of the big three American manufacturers. I'm looking for a vehicle this time we had an excellent referral from a very good friend who suggested that we try Savage Kia and speak with salesman Mike Kunder.
I reluctantly said okay I'll take a look. I had spoke with Mike before we arrived explaining our situation and he started working his inventory to come up some ideas for my wife and myself.
Long story short he introduced us to some options and we settled on the Kia Soul. What a fantastic machine! It fits us both like a glove which has never happened. The one flaw was my wife is 5 foot tall and she could not reach the tailgate to close it. Mike went over and Beyond 2 address The Challenge and came up with a design of his own that allowed her to reach the gate and close it safely. In addition the gas pedal wow reachable was a challenge for my wife he went online and work with handicapped accessories to find a way that we could extend the pedal.
He already had the sale without the hatch or the gas pedal example. However he went over and Beyond to satisfy our needs.
What a refreshing experience. Yes they need to sell cars to stay in business. But should be treated by a staff that truly enjoys what they're doing and goes beyond the norm to understand the needs of their customers and do their best to meet them.
I cannot say enough how pleased we are with our experience and I would highly recommend not only a Kia but more importantly The Savage Kia dealership and they're salesman Mike Kunder!

Service department is awesome! Kia has never failed my family and we're "customers for life" thanks to the great customer service from the time you walk in the door (thank you Bernie!) to the end of your service appt. I highly recommend service at Savage Kia!
