Could not locate meter even after specific instructions. So charged 40 dollers for a second attempt. Took the day off work so they can come and do it. I rang power SA to confirm they are still coming today but they could not confirm as they use a four day window?? What use is this?

Seriously I have question the sense and policies of SAPN. I get notification when they are reading the power meter and leave my front gates unlocked. Today I get a notice in the letterbox of my unlocked property to say they couldn't read the meter because of a dog on the property. IN THE HOUSE. SERIOUSLY. Where has the commonsense gone...

We ve had problems with the street light in front of our house continuously on a monthly basis over a period of about 2.5yrs keeps stop working, same with our parents home on there street. And it leaves the street Dark and gloomy. I have reported both lights in the past on a numerous occasions (no less than 5x each) SA power net work keep coming out and on all occasions have fixed it every time.
However now just recently the same Bloody lights on both our streets have faulted again! But!!! Now when I try to report it, It will Not send!! I ve Fxcken had enough!! If they had half a brain they ed Just replace it with a LED Light and this wouldn t happen as the Halogen lights are known for this problem and not only that it would of saved them selfs $$$. What ever I ve wasted enough of my time not only reporting this issue but also writing this.

It's 9pm 20th June and the power's gone out. The street is full of SA Power Network people. Got a letter to say maintenance would be done on the 21st starting at 6AM. I'm all for getting an early start but this is ridiculous.

Our street received prior notification that the power in our street would be off yesterday between 8.00am and 3.00pm. When it got to 10.30am and the power hadn't gone off, I rang SAPN. The guy told me that 17 houses should have been impacted and it did seem odd that the power hadn't gone off at all. He said the crew might have been able to find a way around turning the power off. So, he then said "I will ring the job supervisor and I will call you back in a few minutes". I never heard back, so up to 3.00pm , we were still wondering if the power would go off.
I assume no-one from SAPN will read this review and I guess if they do, they won't give a damn anyway. It's like dealing with the public service..

My wife and I are completely gutted at the state of the cherry blossom tree after SAPN carried out some work on a pole that is on our property. Most of the jade plants have been completely uprooted and left hanging out on the kerb. My lawn also has mysterious blue paint lines and figures marked on it.

I would like to know why we weren't informed about this beforehand? A simple matter of courtesy - and what action you will be taking for the damages to my lawn?

Very disappointed, given the time and money we have spent maintaining the lawns and to have precious trees simply ripped out to have an hideous cage installed.

There is something Sa power network needs to improve and it is really important. When going to discount the power connection from a property by the order of a retailer, can you please check the connection had been registered with another retailer and with an active account under different name? The previous occupant may own the previous retailer s money which result in disconnection. But the current occupants have to bear the pain because the power is out in the property even though they had connection with another retailer.

SAPNs mission statement is "We are a monopoly and we know it, with our customer's being privileged to serve us" I tried to connect power to an existing property metro Adelaide. SAPN will not call you, just say we will be there between 8am -12pm, you must wait around for us, we are far too important to give you an ETA, or a call. 6 days to get power on an existing residential property. If you want power on in Adelaide - book at least a week out.

My stobie pole had a timber crossbeam replaced by metal in January 2018 and immediately afterward this caused the deaths of several galahs over a the course of few weeks. It was horrible to go keep going out and constantly seeing dead young birds laying at the base of the power pole. I rang to complain and the man who visited put the cause down to the metal replacement and said they would put an insulative cover over it, but it might take a while . March 2019 and they still haven t done anything! This in addition to another stobie pole I reported in 2014 which keeps killing young magpies they still have not bothered addressing.

Two things are clear to me: SA Power Networks does not give a toss about native wildlife killed by its equipment and secondly, they think people who report these things are just mugs and if given enough time we ll just go away and forget about it.

Quality of installation 1star. Quality of equipment, tools, pay and paid training World Class!! These blokes are old school scheduled laziest. Their "planned maintenance" that could have been done in two half days with the same resources has been stretched over 4 full days (5 if you count the time 4 trucks rocked up and did nothing). Each time the power goes off from 8am - 3pm. The job is STILL not done and they've left a miniscule amount of work so that they can write-off another full day to the SA Taxpayer.
Live it up boys, enjoy your 20 smoke breaks a day and 1.25hr lunchtime... it's ok the SA Taxpayers have your back.

They seem to think it is totally reasonable that you sit from 8am till midnight waiting for them to turn up as they are unable to schedule a work day. The young man in the call centre was as useful as he could be however the system is broken.
