Got a custom tattoo from Dan Crowe on January 24. The entire experience, from consultation and design through inking, was outstanding. He was patient and thorough in making sure that the design was exactly what I had in mind. The tattoo took 3 1/2 hours to complete, and he was focused and deliberate throughout. I am very pleased with the final result, and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an exceptional tattoo. He's also friendly and considerate, which made getting the tattoo as comfortable as it could be.

One of the best studios and tattoo experiences of my life. Virginia was amazing. What she produced was just amazing - very talented. Also really nice and friendly. The whole place was cool and very welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Cumulatively, I ve spent days at Sang Bleu London and cannot recommend it enough. The first floor of the tattoo studio is an exhibition space for contemporary art of all kinds, with a consistently changing roster of interesting artists from around the world. Sang Bleu London is made up of many resident tattooists in addition to the crazy amount of guests artists coming through at any given time! Many of the residents take same-day appointments and walk-ins, willing to work from their own flash or develop ideas in consultation with the clients. While I was there I was tattooed by one of the owners, Maxime, who is always both incredibly efficient and supportive during the tattoo process. Combined with the communal atmosphere, this makes even extensive tattoo sessions not only survivable but enjoyable. If you follow the work of any of the residents or guests at the shop, you will already know that no one whose skill is lesser than the best in their field works here. If you don t, the large white walls lined with original flash will convince you in seconds. It is clear that so much time and thought was put into this endeavor from the intricacies of each tattoo to the aesthetic and atmosphere of the shop itself. Prices are standard; tattoos are amazing. Quit sleeping.

Visited Sang Bleu a handful of times for sessions with Maxime and it was always a great pleasure to visit the studio full of great artists and people. The team covers a great variety of styles w/ competence; you will definitely be in great hands!

I have been getting tattooed by Maxime regularly during the last couple years. Visited the studio a few times and finally got tattooed there this month. Excellent resident and guest artists, super friendly staff and simply a great looking studio. You will feel absolutely well taken care of. Likely one of the best shops you can go to, if you live in UK and also abroad, it's worth the travel.
Also regularly very interesting contemporary art shows/exhibitions & partys.

been waited an hour for the small design which is just a copy of an existing work. Didn t asked for the design when my friend booked the appointment months ago. And didn t give any pre-warning of not to bring friends along because they have to wait outside. Some artists seems nice, finished design in half an hour and had conversations with the customers before they get started. But the designer my friend booked didn t care much, and as I ve said took too long a time re-drawing his previous work.

Steven did a phenomenal and professional job in tattoing a motif I had brought in. He had a very calm hand and managed to tattoo the finesses extremely precisely. The healing process went incredibly quick and I'm overall very happy with my experience and the value for money

I managed to grab a last minute cancellation spot and avoided the waiting list with Mimi for my first tattoo. He wasn't precious about working with my very specific idea and reference material and produced the most beautiful piece of work. The whole experience smoothly facilitated by the most charming receptionist/booker. This is a very high profile studio - yet completely without attitude.

I have been to the shop several times to get work done by Jack Watts (Tattoos for Your Enemies) and have never been disappointed. His work is creative, funny and bold. Also, really makes you feel at ease when getting your first tattoo done. Shop is nice and clean and all the staff there are really friendly. Can t recommend Jack enough, a lovely fella with a great unique art style.

I felt in very safe hands when visiting Sang Bleu. I came on 2nd Feb for a tattoo on my foot with Wolfgang and I am so thrilled with the final image. It was only my second tattoo, and quite a big one in comparison to my original, but I completely trusted Wolfgang. Everyone in the studio is so welcoming, and are incredibly inclusive. Whilst I couldn t see the design as it was going onto my foot, I felt very reassured when they walked by to tell me how nice it was!

I did work by mxmttt, everything was perfect and professional as i wanted. the design was dynamic with what i wanted and with the artist style and knowledge. this place combine all you need and hope for when you get a tattoo. the atmosphere is comfortable with great vibes, all the staff is nice and friendly. always a pleasure to come back.

Jay Rose has been tattooing me for almost three years, doing my sleeves on both arms. I originally came to Jay because i had significant scarring on both arms that i wanted covered, and not only has she transformed my arms into beautiful works of art, and done so with the utmost care, respect, and love, but she has completely changed my life. I m no longer shy and desperate to cover myself up, but proud of my body and my beautiful tattoos. I couldn t recommend Jay more; she is a true artist, a completely wonderful human, and a good friend, and anyone would be lucky to wear her work.

A lovely clean and bright open space and a really uplifting and professional working space where other tattoo artists appreciate other fellow tattoo artists work. I personally got to work with Maxime and not only did he put me at ease and make me feel comfortable he was also able to bring my vision of my tattoo to life and I genuinely cant rave about this place enough. Lovely people, clean space and truly amazing artwork/tattoos.

Had my first tattoo here yesterday. Could not be more satisfied with the overall experience and result. Receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful, the decor and vibe was very pleasant and easygoing with some fantastic pieces of artwork on the walls and a bunch of books filled with great art in the waiting room. Most importantly my artist Steven did a fantastic job, drawing up my design perfectly, asking all the right questions and guidance for positioning etc., and the final result looks fantastic. Not cheap but you're paying for some of the best artists around. Worth the money for a lifetime investment. Thank you Sang Bleu!

My friend and I had some tattoos done by Steve today. He was meticulous in his design work and the hygiene was at a great standard....exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience and would absolutely recommend it.

Sang Bleu has an excellent core crew of artists, as is evidenced across their digital presence, and has renowned guests tattooists on a regular basis. All of the staff are always welcoming, polite and professional and the studio has the right balance of being welcoming, stylish and hygienic. Consultation through to aftercare, they have it covered.

There's always a buzz of creativity taking place that's enjoyable to be in while you're under the needle, not just with the other tattooing taking place, but also within the multidisciplinary design studio and publishing division that's housed there.

I did a fair bit of research before booking in my first tattoo last November. I visited the shop to book it in and was super impressed at the set up and made to feel really comfortable by the staff there.
My tattoo was done by Dan and it couldn't have been a better experience. I was a bit nervous - it being my first - but he made me feel really relaxed in was very professional about the whole thing. I was so pleased with his work that I actually went back today to get Dan to do my second - and I reckon a third is definitely on the cards.
Would highly recommend.

I've been tattooed twice at Sang Bleu, both times by Bad Mood Marty ( @badmoodmarty ). The shop has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and i'm really happy with both the tattoos.

Been here 3 times now and the team is super lovely. Everything is run well and kept very very clean. They don t overcharge, they do fair prices for what you re getting. Definitely would recommend, they hold a great roster of artists and can cover a huge range of artists.

Went there for the second time today, to be tattooed by Malvina. Its the best place in London to get your tattoo from. Malvina was super professional from our consultation to the start of the process. Amazing how much she researched about the piece. Would recommend this shop to everyone.

If you've managed to discover Sang Bleu, then you already know it's not your average tattoo shop. These guys have crafted something special. I've had line work done from Maxime and Malvina which is one of the most meticulous styles of work. Both were flexible on the designs to ensure correct scale and placement of artwork. This is a professional studio, expect high standard of cleanliness and customer service.

I've been visiting Sang Bleu since it opened and have been having major pieces done by Maxime Buchi done throughout that time. Though I initially only planned to be tattooed by Maxime, I've since had some work done by a couple of the other in house artists. The styles they seem to focus on include geometric, naturalistic, detailed/delicate, floral...that sort of thing. The entire place is really well run, professional and friendly staff - it's easy to contact them via email, but they cater to walk ins - twice I have visited with no appointment and they've sorted me out with a really great artist on the spot. Definitely one of the best places in London to visit in terms of artist quality and overall experience.

I had a day off on a business trip while in London and happened to walk in to Sang Bleu London. The space itself is amazing and the staff were incredibly helpful and inviting. I ended up getting an american traditional flash style tattoo, classic walk in style. Would highly recommend anyone looking for their next tattoo to head down to SBLTTT you wont be disappointed!

Busy tattoo place in Dalston. I got a spider done on my neck by SEWP and it is lovely, exactly what I wanted and he is super fast and not heavy handed (I was quite nervous of the pain). Would definitely recommend both artist and studio.

The best studio in London hands down. I've been here a few times, and am always really happy with the work. Incredibly professional & clean studio, but still reasonably priced. All very different artists with their own styles - I've had work from some of the residents (Javi Rodriguez, Malwina and Ant Pomeroy) and they also have a great and always changing guest lineup.

Had been wanting to get to Sang Bleu for years and wasn't disappointed - I just wanted a small piece so called ahead to see whether they'd be able to accommodate a walk-in, which they were. Shouts to Dan Crowe who sorted me out immediately and didn't feel the need to follow me to the cashpoint afterwards (NB. they're cash only)!

I had a tattoo here by Jay Jones; the setting is nice and hygienic, and I'd recommend Jay % - she listened to what I wanted, used her expertise to turn what I wanted into something that looks so great, and also was really friendly and mad quick

I recently took a trip to London to visit a friend. I've had my heart set on getting a tattoo by Maxime for a long time and thought it was the right time to go for it! His line work and designs are such a work of art! I had such a great experience setting up my appointment and discussing what I wanted over email so that when I was there everything was all set. Everyone that works there was super friendly and helpful. Tattoo shops can be so intimidating but the receptionist was super welcoming and Maxime was easy to talk to and really understood what I wanted! I couldn't be happier and would recommend this spot to anyone!

Have been coming here to get tattooed by Maxime for nearly 2 yrs. Currently a full torso suit in progress. Always made to feel comfortable and great communication with artists and staff. This is the best tattoo studio in London. Very welcoming and professional service from consultation right through to tattooing and aftercare. Hygiene is the best of all studios I've seen.

If you're in London (or anywhere in the world) & you want a tattoo- this is the place to go. I've been tattooed by Maxime Buchi & Frank Carter multiple times, artists who work here. In addition to the strong local roster, they have a long list of guest artists scheduled throughout the year. There maybe a long wait for the more popular artists working here, but it's definitely worth the wait.

In addition to the tattoo studio, there is an ongoing art & performance space located upstairs- you can also pick up Sang Bleu merchandise- various garments & the original art publications here.

If you're looking for a group forward thinking individuals & a unique tattoo- this is where you absolutely need to be.

I've been tattooed here a number of times and am really pleased with my tattoos and also the experience in the shop. Really like the vibe and it's a bright and open spot. Reception staff are friendly and amenable and have always come back to me within an hour or so. Really clean, friendly and interesting place!

The Sang Bleu staff is warm and welcoming and top notch in regard to sterilization and sanitation. Among the crew, there is someone to answer for any stylistic want or custom whim. Absolutely recommended.

Awesome, outstandingly professional, Stephen did my tattoo, he does not mess about, his work & artistic flare & talent is fabulous, he has such a lovely vibe & energy, his guidance & advice on design, size, placement was spot on & that helped immensely to get it perfect, omg I'm in love with his work, I'm in love with my new tattoo, he also did a change on an old tattoo I was unhappy with & he brought it alive, now I'm in love with it, makes all the difference, he's so mindful, & really thinks about what hes doing. I'm already designing my next tattoo. Ladies on reception are just lovely, very helpful & kind. Studio is the most professional I've ever been too, even the pain was lighter, overall I rate my whole experience 100 out of 100

I've been dreaming of getting inked at sang bleu for about a year and a half if not longer and then following these artists in their personal capacity. I traveled to London and managed to make that dream come true. My first colour piece was done by the lovely Dan Crowe. I have never felt so comfortable and trusting of a place or artist and I'm so happy with the art he made for me. I will definitely be going back once I make more bank. Love these guys and I love their studio.

Sang Bleu London was My first experience of a tattoo parlour. I have to admit it took a bit of courage and time to find somewhere I even felt comfortable enough to go into the shop. From my first visit I was immediately made to feel welcome and relaxed. The shop is a very cool and pristinely clean. It's more like an art space filled with exceptionally talented artists who are clearly chosen for their talent, committed to their profession and passionate about their work. It's a great place to hang out, you might even encounter the odd musician or celebrity!
The ridiculously talented Maxime Buchi (the mastermind behind this place) did my first Tattoo at Sang Bleu (left sleeve) and the whole process from design to execution was shockingly enjoyable. I have subsequently been back for my second sleeve and a full back piece. I plan to have my legs tattooed later this year.
To anyone considering using this shop, i'd say go for it!

I was treated with care and attention from the moment I walked in. The staff seem to have a lot of fun, and it seems a genuinely inspiring place to be. This was only my second tattoo, and I was nervous, but walked out the shop with a fantastic tattoo that healed clean and bold. Malwina is just insanely good, obsessive about her work, and gentle with the machine. I'm already planning another!

Sang bleu is the best by being excellent in all areas of service. Ive known many of the artists personally including Maxime, who without question are all exceptionally talented and kind people. This business is run on passion and forward thinking, inclusion and unity. They are, and will continue to be the best.

While my first experience at Sang Bleu wasn't great, Maxime made every effort to make sure that my concerns were taken seriously. The piece he did for me was great - I was really happy in the end and have the greatest of respect for Maxime.

Maxime and his crew are of the highest caliber. Sang Bleu sets the standard for cleanliness, aesthetics, quality of work and all around professionalism. All of the bases are covered with any style of tattoo you desire, which is a rare occurrence these days. Everything that Maxime attaches his name to, he does 100%, and his studios are no exception!!

Second time I ve been to Sang Bleu to get tattooed by Wolfgang. Both times he understood exactly what I wanted in terms of drawing and placement and my tattoos are beautiful. Very spacious and clean studio, they respect your privacy with the use of screens and although I had limited interactions with the rest of the team everyone seemed friendly and the studio has a lovely atmosphere. The social media team also had good communication with me during lockdown when I had a query about rescheduling appointments x

After wanting to take a meeting 1 month before for 3 words (finger + ankle), to confirm that he tattooed the fingers, I was told to spend without appointment because small tattoos, once there during my stay on told me that we had to make an appointment or at least call before. I am offered an appointment just for the ankles because they do not do the fingers oddly. Loss of time and money for me

Refused service to an customer due to medical status who is a good friend. This is illegal under the Equality Act 2010. If they use new and sterilised equipment and fresh ink on each and every person, this would not be a problem for them. One can only imagine they are willing to take risk

Had a 3/4 sleeve done recently by Max & I really can't speak highly enough of this place. Super professional, patient & accommodating, full of ideas & absolutely flawless execution as you'd expect. Max is both a genuinely top-level tattoo artist & a really nice, humble guy. Communication great throughout & the whole operation seems highly organised. I'll be back after the summer to start on my other arm. 10/10 would recommend.
