My daughter has been attending this camp for the last 3 years ... this time she only spent a week due to other commitments and was literally in tears when she got off the plane because she said she said one week wasn't long enough. I can't say enough wonderful things about Pinecrest ... the coaches, counselors and campers are wonderful. My daughter's swimming has improved, but most of all, she has met swimmers from all over the world and built amazing friendships ... she keeps in touch with counselors and campers all year. Thank you PINE CREST SWIM CAMP!!

My son spent a wonderful two weeks of hard training. He improved his techniques and swim time. He also had fun with the rest of the swimmers. He came back asking to be scheduled for next summer!

My kids have attended for several years as both day campers and overnight campers. They are seriously into swimming and have found the experience very helpful. They come back from camp in great shape for the remainder of the long course season after having swam two-a-days for a couple weeks. Overnight campers stay at a very nice hotel near the campus. Pine Crest offers the option for campers to participate at local swim meets. The only negative experience we ever had was the fact that when the campers attend a meet with the Pine Crest Aquatic Club swimmers, the kids get all packed in together. The club swimmers (who typically outnumber the campers by a significant margin) will do annoying stuff to the campers that don't necessarily make them feel welcome like throwing their towels off the bleachers and onto the ground. Otherwise the experience is great, and we'll be back for another season.

Every Parent's nightmare!!!They never picked up my daughter from the airport and she was there for 3 hours. I had her take a cab to the hotel and no one from the camp was there and the receptionist said there was no contact info. She waited in the lobby for an hour. I called, emailed and sent messages via facebook. Nothing for 4 hours!!! Someone finally answered and sent someone... they blamed it on their software program.
Nightmare continues:
The night before she was to leave camp to come home they informed her that they were going to take her to the airport at 7 am... her flight was at 7PM!!! Again, I couldn't get a hold of anyone at camp. By now I had the director's number, and he assured me that everything would be fine. I NEVER received a call from anyone from the camp to assure me the flight drop off situation was taken care of. Again... software program!!!
I am in California and my daughter was in Florida.... don't send your child if they are traveling to this camp! They may never get there, sit in an airport alone, sit in a hotel lobby alone... or worse. I thank God she is fine.... this time eveything worked out... who knows about the next time the software isn't working.

My 11 year old son just got back from a week at Pine Crest. From picking him up at the airport to getting him back everyone was very professional and he had a great time! He made many new friends, said the swimming was educational and challenging. He is already asking about going back for two weeks next year! Thank you to all the coaches and everyone involved in making this a successful trip!

My daughter is a serious swimmer and has attended Pine Crest for two weeks for the last 3 years and has a wonderful experience each summer! She has made very nice friends, has adored the counselors, and looks forward to going to this camp each summer. Additionally, I was impressed by individual attention of the coaches. Doing two a days and dry land every day really helped jump start her Long Course season and it made her training effortless in the sense that they really are in a bubble of swimming, eating and resting for swimming again. My one caveat would be that the overnight camp in my opinion is only for really serious swimmers because they literally eat and breath swimming. That being said, they do take fun excursions to the water park, fishing, shopping, the beach, Disney World and such to break up the week so its not all work but fun too! Pine Crest is literally the highlight of my daughters summer.

I have three swimmers who have all attended Pine Crest. The facility is beautiful, the coaches, counselors and staff are dedicated and knowledgable. They also make it fun. What a great, healthy way to spend the summer!
