Friendly staff, excellent service, beautiful grounds.

Great place. I was worried about coming here with all of the covid stuff going on but am very pleased. The Jamaican airport is screening people very throughly. All of the staff here are wearing mask at all times and are very thankful for us to be here. We have butlers and they have been super helpful. Very pleased.

The food is delicious, the staff is courteous...ambiance second to none

Their staff are wonderful people. I thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality.

The attention and the variety of things that can be done, is the touch for a good vacation.

Very nice and relaxing, all the food was great No complaints, very clean all around. The only complaint is there is no entertsinment to speak of. The staff was excellent everyone was always in a good mood, n spoke to us every time.

The facilities are top notch ... the best! The staff and customer service exceeded my expectation. Two major stand out are the location to the airport can be annoying temporarily during flight departures. It's not an all day thing but depending on the timing it could make you frown your face. The resort has a bit of a stray cat problem. The cats linger about my patio while enjoying meal. And you'll catch glimpses of them every now and again. Overall the resort, staff, food etc. etc. Is first class ... I LOVE THE JAMAICAN PEOPLE!!! I would visit again.

It was awesome although we didn't get the full experience due to covid

We had a great stay. Food, service and staff were first class. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. The resort met all of our expectations.

Nice resort. Amazing staff. You do have the noise of airplanes taking off during the day.

It was a wonderful trip. Almost everyone was very nice and very accommodating. It is a beautiful place. The fish dinner at Stew Fish in Montego Bay was absolutely delicious, from appetizer to dessert.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon. When we arrived at the airport we were immediately taken care of after customs in a private sandals waiting area then shuttled to the resort by a very friendly driver. Upon arriving we were pleasantly greeted by the front desk and shown to our room. Our first impressions were this resort was beautiful and had a great beach location and from most areas/restaurants of the resort you were able to view the beach. We loved Tokyo Joes!! Our second favorite was the pizzeria on the beach. We also loved the omelets in the morning in breakfast area! There are 2 restaurants that require dress code and reservations, they had smaller portions and we enjoyed other restaurants food and atmosphere much better. The bar in the front lobby had amazing service and kept us entertained!! They have great shows in the front lobby at night we really enjoyed and after the shows we would end the night at the piano bar which we loved as well. Some things we were not pleased with were: the beach seating, most all seating areas you have to reserve (pay for). Beach side bar, we were suggested by friends to take a personal boat out for 50$ a person. Takes you snorkeling and to margaritaville and some local shops, our new friends said they took drinks from the bar and champagne for the ride. We thought absolutely and we book with another couple we friended. When leaving we were told they didn't have the supplies or time to accommodate us with drinks they were completely rude and we had other travelers by us when they were treating us poorly also complain because they felt they were rude to us as well. We told our boat driver and he went and got us drinks, he was fantastic!! And I do recommend the personal boat tour!! There is a "no tip" policy, however if you want to avoid having such bar incidence's tips I would recommend. And lastly if you take a excursion its best to take a taxi not a shuttle. We had a 2 hour excursion and was gone 8 hours due to waiting for others who had longer excursions and the shuttle ride which we happened to be the first picked up and last dropped off. You don't want to waist your day on a shuttle!! The excursion was great though, bob sledding and Zip lining!!! We made countless friends, some we still keep in touch with. Over all we really enjoyed our honeymoon trip the resort is simply beautiful! The fluffy sand and crystal water is fantastic! There is room for improvement however we would return to this resort happily!

My husband and I had a great time at Montego Bay resort in November 2019. Our room and service was great. This was also the first time we stayed at this resort however, I was very disappointed when the Sandals system allowed us to book another vacation for the same week in 2021. I would think their system would be more sophisticated! We book our vacations two years out and was hoping to include an additional year (2022). We always book our vacation at the Resort. Instead of allowing us to move our vacation to November 2022, we were told that we can only move our vacation out 6 months (May 2022), which is disappointing because we always go on vacation in November during Thanksgiving week. My suggestion would be update your system so that you cannot book two vacations for the same week, or once a mistake is made, allow us to change.

The customer service is very good...the staff is punctual and positive....over all good experience.

Totally up to date facilities. Especially the restaurants and lounges. It was a night and day difference between Sandals Royal Caribbean and Montego Bay.

What an absolutely amazing time. Literally from the time that my wife and I stepped foot on on the resort. Anna-kay and her team were absolutely amazing and made every beat of this trip something to remember for a lifetime. If you are considering going to Sandals Montego Bay and you are open to having fun while also having time to relax, please trust this review. The rooms were very clean and the resort was perfect. The crew there made us feel VERY welcomed and not one time did we feel bored. The entertainment was A-1. I actually hate when people say this, but if I could leave 10 stars, I would. Thanks Anna-kay and team. We will be back!

An excellent resort. Already on arrival you are well received with sparkling wine and by an attentive, cheerful, and friendly staff. Great rooms, large, clean and bright. Various sports and water activities. Good food and beach snack bar available 24h. Great place for a couple to enjoy, date, and live marvelous days. It is worth the lodging.

Absolutely the most amazing staff! They are always working hard to keep the resort up. They are kind and always making sure the guest are happy. I'm already scheduled to go back

My husband and I have stayed at 4 different sandals resorts, and visited 6. Sandals Montego Bay and royal Caribbean are our least favorite. We love sandals, so we will always recommend their resorts.. but the food at Montego Bay was nothing great, the resorts felt very cramped, and the staff was not helpful. If your traveling to Jamaica, go to South coast!

I was recently married at Sandals Montego Bay, and I must say that it really is PARADISE! It was also difficult to make arrangements with a planner even starting over a year before... pretty only on the Sandals side. I was very pleased with the high esteem of customer service that you rarely see, from every single staff member once I arrived, of course the drink and food menus and selections were absolutely PERFECT as well as left with the lasting memories of the beauty and serenity of the island! There was a few things that were missed at our wedding, but once again the staff was amazing and very fair with making monetary compensation for this. I will definitely be doing business with Sandals in the very near future... which destination, we'll see!

The room was clean and comfortable. The ambience was excellent. The room space was well utilised. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Stayed in the 400's. Room was standard fair in terms of size, but overlooked general dining and the water. Food was good overall. Okay amounts of activities; the snorkeling was great. Saw 4 rays over two separate snorkeling trips. Was lucky to see a turtle swimming of the coast during a cruise on the Red Dread.

Fabulous experience. Carlene and Palmer took excellent care of us. Food was delicious!

Beautiful sandy beach, warm water, gracious service, what's not to like? Highly recommend the butler service to make your trip feel extra personal - they can reserve beach chairs, bring lunch or drinks to the beach and arrange little surprises in your room. All service levels include many dining choices and the food was quite good. The overall vibe was low key and relaxing. Wide range of ages among the guests and folks were very friendly.

Wife and I enjoyed every minute of our Honeymoon here, they really do treat you like family! Don't listen to these other "food critics", every single meal was divine, even the buffet if you can believe it! Yes, it's close to the airport so you hear the planes taking off, but they only run from about 11 AM to 9 PM, and they are very intermittent and pass by within seconds. After day 3, you don't even pay attention to them. As for the construction, don't worry about that either! The temporary walls they put up look just like the resort, we honestly couldn't even tell if it wasn't for the back hoe working on the gazebos near the pier. Even then, they only run them for 3-4 hours a day. Mosquitoes were bad, but it's the Caribbean, what can you say? They do bomb the place at dawn and dusk, otherwise it would be a lot worse. Doesn't even matter though, booked with a deposit for 5 years from now to come back again! With all that, still a 9.5/10 experience

absolutely amazing service! the staff here was so friendly. we would certainly recommend rolando and toni-anne as butlers. they made sure our choice of chairs was laid out each day so we could sleep and get around at our own pace. they also brought us snacks and drinks at just the right time. we will be back!

My husband and I stayed here the first week of October this year. The service is fantastic and the people are super friendly. Something that bothered both of us was the constant planes taking of starting at around 6am all the way to 11pm. And they are LOUD!! The resort is located at the end of the runway so there s no escaping the loud planes leaving. We were unaware of this when we booked our vacation. Because it s a sandals resort, you re able to visit the other Jamaica locations during your stay. If you go to royal Caribbean, the planes are much higher off of the ground and not as noisy.

Overall Montego Bay was gorgeous and had great service, but the planes were just so loud!

We really enjoyed our week here. It was our 5th trip to Sandals, but our first to this resort. Everything was perfect... the beach, pools, new Latitudes over water bar, the food, and our room overlooking the water. Service was great, too. We will definitely be back here again, but Karla (awesome) convinced us to try La Toc in St. Lucia next (with the great promotion going on).

Fabulous vacation. You are treated like royalty at the Royal Caribbean. Food I'd great and the beach in Jamaica is beautiful. Loved every minute of it.

My wife and I LOVED our stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and a few members stood out. Robert was fantastic both at breakfast and dinner. He couldn't have treated us better or made us feel more welcome. Hartlon did a great job making us feel welcome and sparking fun activities both during the day and evening. All the playmakers were entertaining but the young man (Cion?) that does the break dancing was phenomenal. The head of the entertainment made each show in the evening very enjoyable. We had a great time snorkeling and had amazing pictures taken by the man swimming with us. He even taught us things about the sea life while were looking into the water. Our room was always kept clean and stocked with fresh towels. There were little to no insects on the property which was a pleasant surprise. We ate at every restaurant on the property and we did not eat one thing that we didn't enjoy. The bar staff was quick to get us drinks. The grounds and beach were always kept clean and neat. The airplanes near by were not ideal but you can not beat a 5-10 minute drive to the airport or that no planes flew at night or the morning. Overall we could not have had a better honeymoon and look forward to returning to this resort in the future.

Visited for 6 days and absolutely loved the resort. Employees so friendly and accommodating. My boyfriend and I had meals at most of the restaurants on-site and our favorite was Tokyo Jo's. Took the shuttle over to the royal Caribbean and enjoyed it for a nice change. Highly recommend this resort!

Beautiful resort with Breathtaking views, just as stunning as it was in 2009 when we Honeymooned here. The best of all Sandals Resorts in my opinion. The ambiance the moment you step foot on property immediately tells you you've arrived in a special place. For this being the flagship of Sandals properties, they have really done Montego Bay justice! Don't just admire the beach, which seems unending and heavenly, take a stroll into the interiors of the resort and allow the gardens to encase you into a different dimension of Island life with it's immaculately manicured grounds and a landscape design that sends you back home to reality wanting to mimic this resort.(I've done it on a smaller scale). With the way the rooms are situated and arranged as far as the views..in a sense.. you really can't say that one building/room is more superior than the next(per se).. considering the inclusiveness that' everyone shares. The staff really must feel privileged to be a part of this resort as they all seem to want you to enjoy every moment possible. Andrew at Butch's is a genuine class act, personally assuring that everything is on schedule, there's much to be said about an individual such as he. I think it was KerriAnn @ the loyalty desk who assisted me...a true pleasure to have worked with her for our return trip in January. The bar(s) staff, the Bayside breakfast staff,..everyone here..I cant express the gratitude I have for the way they interact with each guest. Call me biased to MoBay or whatever but I have been to the French Polynesian area within a couple months of this visit earlier this month to Sandals Montego Bay and I can say OVERALL...(in my opinion)Sandals Montego Bay, Jamaica edges out the Islands of Tahiti. That says alot taking in consideration the beauty of French Polynesia. I took into account the scenic value, romantic vibe, culture, relaxation, as well as activity levels. Bar none...Jamaica in particular..Sandals Montego Bay... has it all! Cant wait to return this January

We have already booked our next vacation. The service, property and people were magnificent. We had butler service and Cassandra was an absolute beauty of a human being! When we had to leave it was a very sad day.

The Best Beach, food, pools, activities and people.

The Sandals Montego Bay, is the perfect vacation one can plan. All you need to do is book your tickets and the rest is taken care of. The best part is that people are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to make your trip memorable. It is right behind the airport so you reach the resort in 10 mins.
The only decisions you got to make are, Where to eat and which drink to order. Trust me, its not that easy. They have 9 restaurants, 7 or something pools, and 4 bars. And yes everything is included.
A big shout out to all the staff there, esp; Steffon at one of the bar, Shannon in Cricketers Club, Romeo and my favorite Arlene the Supervisor. Trust me, their hospitality will make you never want to leave.
This was truly one of the best vacation in my life ever. I am definitely coming back!!! Especially to meet all the lovely people.

The people were amazing and the resort is beautiful. They were doing construction so it was a little noisy and some restaurants were not open. The options for food were almost endless but the quality could have been better.

Beautiful location. Good food with lots of choices. The restaurants that require reservations are excellent. Top shelf liquor. Only beer is Red Stripe. Don't get your hopes up for a beach walk. Only about a hundred meters of beach. The snorkeling is average. The Coral is mostly dead, so there are few fish. Service at restaurants and poolside was outstanding. Rooms are very nice. The main difference between room categories is view and balcony size. I would come back.

SMB was okay, they are in the middle of renovations to make the place much more modern. It's the place to go for more of a party atmosphere. The rooms looks great and the two reservation restaurants are both amazing.

Had a great time. Staff is amazingly friendly. Very relaxing. Recommend the lazy river with a beverage or just sitting on the beach. Airport is very loud at this Sandals location since it is right behind it, but it's a quick drive from the airport.

Was a great experience , I had a flu though so the food didn't taste as good as it looked ... will definitely visit again
