A vacation of a lifetime. Very professional and friendly staff. Absolutely the perfect vacation.

Top hotel. Extremely personal staff. They attach great importance to the fact that the guest feels like family. At this point a big thank you to Winfried.
There is one small minus: the hotel will be renovated by the end of 2017. The lobby is a major construction site and practically nonexistent. And then the hotel is right next to the runway. You just have to know that! But there is silence between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Did not like it and wont return. It's a landlocked cruise ship that gives the illusion of choice.

Really friendly staff..plus you can visit the other two resorts which are ten mins away via regular shuttle bus straight from the front door of hotel..love Jamaica!!

The staff and our accommodations were spectacular. Food quality was 50/50. Some restaurants very good and some okay. Drinks were very good and never ending. Our butler suite with ocean front swim out amazing. Butlers were friendly and extremely helpful. All staff were very friendly and also helpful truly wanting you to come away thrilled to be in Jamaica...their home.

There is just too much to say about that resort so I'm just going to talk about my absolute favourite thing about it. I am speaking for myself when I say that one of the best feelings in the world is laying on the beach listening to the wind, feeling the breeze lap against your skin with some good music in the background and food and a margarita or a whisky sour in your hands. Now imagine all of that but laying OVER the water in the Latitude's Bar! Thinking about it and I wanna go back right now!

Beautiful resort and amazing staff! The entertainment staff (Aleko, Trish, Aaron, and Ramone) could not have been better! Our bulters (Carl & Orion) were also amazing! Great trip!

Was there June 16 for the grand reopening. It was amazing and thank you for your hospitality and having us.

Really beautiful, really relaxing. The staff are really friendly. The beach is great to relax on. The drinks are strong and bottomless. The food is good, although not the best I've ever had. The one downside is that you hear every plane that goes by.

This is one of the most romantic places I've been in a long time. And we're going back this year!

Everything was great from the airport lounge, to the shuttle to hotel and staff. Everything was amazing, we're are permanent Sandals Montego Bay guests. We will not stay anywhere else in Jamaica.

Beautiful renovations. Looks like a whole new resort and excellent service.

The facility is well-maintained although a bit old. The problem is is the architect decided to build across the street from the airport. The noise from the Jets is annoying and constant in the early afternoon and evening. Food quality was a three out of five, they do have top shelf liquor and it is available in large quantities. Beachfront is very pretty and well-maintained.

They have gone above and beyond. The safety protocols are in place and ensure you feel safe BUT still experience all Sandals has to offer.

This trip was my very first time experiencing a Sandals resort, and I can't wait to return! Travelling during a pandemic is a difficult experience, but Sandals certainly made our vacation as carefree and enjoyable as can be. A high level of cleanliness is observed in all areas of the hotel. Sanitizer is readily available for all, and all members of the staff wore masks the entire time, even the entertainers. Despite all the sterile formalities, the staff did their best to create a warm welcoming environment. Every member was friendly and kind, and they even remembered our names through the duration of the stay. The restaurants were most of the time filled to capacity, but that only speaks to the quality of the food. Staff members worked tirelessly to fit us in for meals by calling our room the minute there was a vacancy. Our room was also beautiful complete with comfortable furnishings and tasteful decor. My personal favorite detail of the room was the private swim-up pool. Sandals is a truly remarkable vacation spot that exceeded my expectations!

Summary: Sandals lost our honeymoon reservation twice, and the nurse was completely inadequate, but the resort was otherwise amazing.

Our first interaction with Sandals Montego Bay was through their website. We booked a room in May of 2013 for our honeymoon, to be taken the first week of 2014. We paid a deposit of $400 to reserve the least expensive room. When I called back in November to pay the full deposit, I was told that our reservation had been cancelled and that I would receive a call back the next day during business hours from a manager. Honeymoon cancelled!? With 15 minutes left in the business day the next day, I hadn t received a call so I called Sandals. After 30 minutes on the phone I was told they couldn t figure out why our reservation was cancelled, but given an upgrade and they allowed me to pay in full. Honeymoon on!

We arrived in Montego Bay and were greeted quickly by Sandals reps. They asked for our reservation name, and couldn t find us. We were denied access to the lounge and sent to speak with a customer service rep. Honeymoon cancelled!? We showed her our online confirmation and she said she d never seen anything like it. Had we been scammed? Since it was New Year s Day she couldn t make much progress, and they resolved to send us to the hotel and figure out what was wrong later. They sent us to the hotel, where they asked us for our reservation name and couldn t find us again and so stuck us in the departures lounge for a little bit. After about 3 hours from first contact, we made it to a room (albeit without shampoo) so we could clean up and begin enjoying. Honeymoon on!

Our time at the resort was generally wonderful, although we weren t sure if we d have to move rooms or get stuck with a new giant charge since Sandals never told us our reservation had been found. But the food was actually delicious, the drinks were well-made, the staff was friendly, and there was plenty to do. We really thoroughly enjoyed our stay, until the last day when we went to see the nurse.

My wife was feeling ill, so we went see the nurse. We arrived at the nurse s station at about 3 PM, but it was abandoned. So we asked a passing staff member what was up and he called the nurse to tell her she had people to see her. About 10 minutes later a lady in scrubs sauntered over, and then played on her phone. I asked if she was the nurse, she said yes, and then my wife explained her problems. As the nurse walked into her office she told us that medicine was sold at the gift shop and to only call if something serious happened, then promptly locked the door behind her. Overall my worst interaction with someone theoretically of the medical profession.

I would not recommend booking Sandals online to anyone, nor would I consider there to be any real medical assistance on-site (one of the reasons we chose Sandals over their competitors).

It was truly a relaxing weekend where you could forget about the world and relax. Quickly lost track of what day it was.

My new husband and I went here for our honeymoon this past October. There was construction going on the whole time we were there from morning until night on a big part of the resort. We were not told this would be happening during our vacation. One of our butlers was terrible. I e-mailed customer service last week about some issues I had with my husband and I's visit to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I did not appreciate the e-mail that the "General Manager" replied back to. I thought it was very unprofessional and quite offensive. I discussed with him some issues that I had and he made it seem like it was not a big deal and that my concerns did not bother us. It obviously bothered us and put a damper on our honeymoon or I would have never e-mailed them in the first place. I am extremely upset that Carl Otto Beviere did not even acknowledge some things I had said. We spent thousands of dollars to come to this resort when we could have chosen any other company. (Wish we did now) I have been dreaming of coming to Sandals with my husband for years. Now that we did I am just let down in ways with how our experience was. We should have been told that there was going to be construction, we could have chosen another one of their resorts. It DID affect us because we had to walk past it to go anywhere else on the resort. We were located at the very end of the resort. Not only did we have to walk past it, but we had to listen to construction workers making wolf calls at me. Not to mention the noise of all the construction. I TOTALLY understand that they want to improve their resort but it still would have been nice to know it would be happening while we were there. Carl's response was that there is nothing on file for my complaints. I e-mailed them on the website when we returned so that is not my problem. I am not one to put myself in a uncomfortable situation, so I am NOT going to complain about one of our butlers not being great while we are still there. That would have made it VERY uncomfortable. I surely am not going to complain on a construction worker either. I was in another country, who knows what could have happened to me by doing that. I just can't express enough on how upset and disappointed I am. I am soo offended by the way my concerns have been handled. This was suppose to be the trip of our lives after spending so much money to come to this resort. Don't get me wrong, we did have some positive experience's there as well. There were a few workers there that really made us have a GREAT time! They e-mailed me after I complained for a "goodwill gesture". That is what Carl kept referring to in our e-mails. I was not e-mailing him just to get a "goodwill gesture" . I wanted him to care about my complaints. My last e-mail he told me that no further correspondence will be sent in this regard. That is UNACCEPTABLE for a well known resort to handle a problem like that. He pretty much told me I am done discussing this have a nice day.

Love this place, service and food is wonderful. The renovations are amazing and really bring out the beauty in this property.

It was great, but it wasn't the best the palace was kind of dirty

We just returned from our honeymoon at Sandals Montego Bay and let me say, WOW! This place is truly amazing! If you are looking for 5-star resort with multiple cuisines, alcoholic beverages, pools, excursions, etc. then book Sandals Montego Bay! They have a long beach coast so the resort feels huge! We were there for 8 days, 7 nights and didn t even touch 1/4 of everything this resort has to offer. It is one of the closest resorts to the airport, so while you might hear the occasional plane departing, it is so worth it when you, yourself, arrive and depart as there is no long drive to/from airport (approx. 10 minutes). If you don t book, you re definitely missing out!

Phenomenal! I fell in love with Sandals resorts when my wife and I married at Sandals Negril. This august was our 3rd sandals visit and we had a blast. So much so that we booked our next trip to return before we left. We stayed in a butler presidential suite that was cleaned and restocked 3 times a day (as needed) our house Keeper, Stephanie was great! So much so that we left her a gift. Our butlers Palmer and Shevron were beyond amazing. They went so far as to even serve a pair of friends who came to visit us for a couple days. Special thanks to Palmer for always having my favorite beer guiness at the ready for me. And Shevron (Doll face), well I just don't have the words to explain how amazing she is. We've had butler service before and she took it to a new level.
All the resort staff were great, greeting us with smiles and often hugs. They made us feel like family every day. Thanks O'Neal for teaching my wife to snorkel, she has a new hobby thanks to you! There were plenty of activities from water sports to beach volleyball or just relaxing on the beach.
Food was amazing at every restaurant that we went to (sadly we missed out on Tokyo Joes)
And when I wasn't drinking guiness I was drinking top shelf alcohol and my wife enjoyed many varieties of mixed drinks.
There was construction going on during our stay but it was handled so well it was never obtrusive. I read a lot of complaints about hearing the airplanes take off. You can hear them but the staff have developed a custom of waving good bye at the departing planes, we joined in on this custom and by our second day you barely register the noise on a conscious level. Enough to also wave good bye but not enough to be bothered by it.
Overall our stay was phenomenal and my only complaint was having to leave. I recommend this resort to anyone looking to be pampered and loved by staff and guests alike and anyone who wants a vacation where your most difficult decision is whether to relax on the beach or join all the activities on and off the resort.

Very friendly helpful staff. Nice place to relax. Although we went to Atlantis in the Bahamas last year (2016) and had a much better time and feel we got more value for the money we spent.
13k for 15 days at Sandals is a lot of money. We spent 11k at Atlantis and enjoyed it more. The food is either tasteless or has some type of very spicy ingredients. The room we had was generic looking. We booked 3k in activities over 6 months in advance only to find out that half of them when we got there were "tentative" and would be cancelled if enough people did not book. Would have been nice to know this BEFORE they took 3k+ in payments.! We are not the kind of people to just lay around on the beach. We went to do things on vacation! The drinks are OK, and for sure not watered down. Very strong with alcohol but for sure not the best I have had. The pina colada's were tastless like most of the food. Yes this is all inclusive and meals and drinks are all included. But what good is that if they suck! We both ordered sure n turf at the Montegeo Bay resort and got half a lobster tail that was spicy as hell and a hunk a cow that seemed like it swam over from the state's it was so tough.!!
We enjoyed much more all the food and drinks in the Bahamas and did every activity we booked in advance of our arrival. There is also much more to do on the resort at Atlantis over Sandals.
The best part of our stay were the people. They were awesome and went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. That being said it is not enough to make us return. We will book at Atlantis in 2018.
Oh, you better like planes flying VERY VERY close to you if you stay at the Montego Bay resort. They are right overhead every 30 minutes due to the airport being adjacent to the property.

What a wonderful place would go there for a month vacation

By far the best resort I have ever stayed in.

The food was amazing, every single restaurant was fantastic. The service was also great and the entertainment was also fun.

My one complaint was that that wifi service was not dependable.

I was here for my honey moon and I world do it all over again. Fantastic place to stay. 5 out of 5 stars.

Absolutely beautiful resort! The staff is super friendly and will do everything in there power to make your experience unique and fun! The airport by the resort isn't that busy so it's not like you're hearing planes all the time. The food is fantastic and the drinks are strong! Sandals is legit and will ensure you have a wonderful time! Ya man!

Expansive resort with excellent facilities and staff and constant activity. The restaurants are very good as well.

Sandals Montego Bay was a great place to vacation. It was our first time to Jamaica and we didn't really know what to expect, but we quickly felt at ease after swimming in the ocean and soaking up the views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed Montego Bay because after taking a bus to the other sandals resort (Royal Caribbean) we were glad we booked at Montego Bay. It had such a better feel and vibe and the views were more impressive. The planes going by and construction was slightly annoying but after a while you get used to it and the sandals staff actually embraced it (always kiss and wave as the plane goes roaring by what a great business and marketing strategy). The biggest let down of the trip was everything is time oriented and weather related for doing Sandals water sports activities. The weather wasn't the best when we went over thanksgiving but everything from snorkeling to taking a kayak out on the water was subject to fluctuating and inconsistent times. The water sports staff was probably the most inconsistent as if they almost seemed lazy to want to take you snorkeling on the boat. "Oh there's a chance of sprinkling sorry no snorkeling today." All in all the food was great and diverse and we really enjoyed swimming in the ocean and playing volleyball with fellow vacationers. I recommend Sandals Montego Bay but like every vacation it is ALMOST paradise.

The resort was nice; however, a little more quiet than what we were used to at other Sandals Resorts. The pools were much smaller than we anticipated, but the beach was nice. Which was good for relaxing but not if you're looking for a pool party. Bartenders are constantly rotating around the various bars so it's difficult to develop a relationship with your bartender. The food on the resort was very good and the rooms were nice. Would definitely recommend this resort for a quiet, relaxing short stay.

Staff was hands down the best. They will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable.

All inclusive resort located minutes from airport. Great beach, water sports even diving included. #affordablecruisetoursandtravel

Couldn't stay out of this hotel. Loved the staff and the food.

Amazing. When you're here look for Adam, Aleeko, Saphire, or Trish. They are the event staff and coordinators usually in blue shirts. They are so fun and amazing the keep the fun going and organize drinking games, beach volley ball a few times a day as well as "beach Olympics and pool sports" which is a lot less exercise that it sounds like, the games and staff MAKE the vacation. Already booked next year and CANNOT wait.

My wife and I took our first Sandals trip this past week and had the most amazing time. We booked a room in the Butler category; and had the best two in Carl and Mel. I would recommend these two to anyone. They had chairs at the beach reserved for us, made all of our dinner reservations and escorted to them. Every meal that we had was outstanding in every way, shape, and category. All of the drinks that we had were delicious! All of the activities they provided were so much fun and entertaining. I would definitely tell everyone to spend the money and travel to Sandals!

My Husband n I are planning to come back sooner than we thought. I enjoyed my stay!!!

Incredible is the word that defines this hotel next to the beach, it is simply a place dedicated to rest, beautiful and quiet, that can easily become your second home when summer time approaches. I loved the decoration and especially the low prices for each room, in addition to that within their restaurant they have varied marine dishes of excellent quality and flavor. I have to return!.

I loved the Jamaican people, the service at Sandal, the intertainment, all you can eat food and drinks, games, how clean and manicure they keep the landscaping, insects control. It was very nice and we plan to go back next year. By me being an Electrician it seems that they may need to update their Electrical grid or power supply and IT. I believe that I could help with that and speed up the internet. All in all we had a great time on the beachs and at the parties. It is Worth the money and a great place to visit.

Sandals Montego Bay was paradise! We were so nicely welcomed, it was my twin sister and at first I was hesitant about going with her and not my husband, I was very happy to meet up with one of our old butlers. Im not good with names but I have to give it to Rushane Reid, he is one if the kindest most compassionate man and an excellent butler. Every single restaurant we are in we had no problem getting in and hot served excellent dishes, however from early April and till the end of Jena, lobster season is over and unfortunately even our dinner menus were changed from surf and turf to surf and shrimps which was very vety good, no complaints. I always have the most lobster when Im at a Sandals, it didn't spoil our besutiful dinner and it was a beautiful 4 course dinner, they male thins to your perfection and really worth the money.

You can't miss the island, I would see a total of 3 at the most couples until a wedding party came in which made it less desirable to go to because they were getting married and it got pretty rowdy so we just went ashore and spent time taking some boat rides (non motorized). Had great jerk chicken in the island and inshore and they were both excellent.

It was another glorious Sandals vacation.

The definition of lap of luxury. We were spoiled beyond belief and the view from our room was simply stunning. Simply can't wait to return!

Nice. Went there for a wedding.. Mosquitoes everywhere. The were no lamps burning for the insects.

Service from most hotel staff except front desk was great.
I was celebrating my birthday. Upon check in i was asked to complete a few questions which included if we were celebrating any special occasion. At which pointed i noted my birthday.
No one wished me a happy birthday nor did the front desk/check in agent ensure that anything special was sent to room/extended service. (Keeping in mind that we checked in on my actual birthday).
We then made mention of it again when booking our reservation for dinner at which point the staff appologised and ensured dinner was superb.
The water sports activities are apart of the all inclusive experience and there is a WIDE variety. Much more than many other all inclusive hotels. 10/10.
We were also allowed to go to the Sandals Royal property which was scenic. Lovely experience.

Very nice but very expensive. Beautiful beach, but noisy. Two restaurants right on the water were particularly romantic.

Omg my husband and I stayed for 5 days and it was nothing short of amazing! We had the oceanfront, swim out balcony suite with a butler -Steven! Butchs was amazing with excellant dining choices! Our butler had all of our reservations set and itinerary booked daily! The food at this resort was so delicious EVERYTHING! Our Butler had hot baths with roses waiting after our day out! We will definitely be returning this experience was breathtaking and amazing!

I got married six months ago in June at sandals Montego Bay Jamaica. I could not have chosen a better venue I believe the ladies that were at our service names were Kimberly and Ashley with the wedding department, they were magnificent. I did not want or need for anything the entire time I was on the resort and also in their care my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams and I owe it all to sandals. I had a set up every day of the weekend for my friends and family and they make sure to make sure it was extra special and super attentive. The staff was a magnificent and the photographer of the videographer and the wedding team was spectacular I literally have no complaints. Every issue or any concern that I had was easily addressed and also compensated for, if you are looking for a Destiination wedding look no further. I apologize to sandals for my review being so late and I do plan on going on your website and making a personal review as well but I genuinely want to let you guys know how impressed I was with your service and so was my family and friends. Thank you for an amazing wedding!!!!

I wish I could rate higher than 5* SANDALS is AMAZING!! We're going back in February for my baby's 40th Birthday!

Check in was aweful spent over 2 hours waiting for our room to be ready!
