The park keeps evolving, with more events and activities continually being added. A great facility, and one heck of a view from the finish tower!

Great place for the kids to play and the track is the best place in Sarasota for long distance running.

Needed a oil change and tire rotation and 29 point and they wanted to charge me!! I called the dealership I got the pickup from which was Gettel Chevrolet and they were awesome got everything done and no charge.

First Time There! An Easy, Straight Forward 3.5 mile walk. With trail options. Close to major roads & highways. Nice views! And restrooms along the way-

It's the best park in all Sarasota. I love it :). Clean, security place, quiet, just very nice.

Love watching the rowing competitions here... Also great place to walk, run, or stroll the kids and they have a park and shady areas best times are early morning & just before sunset...

I've gone here for years now. It's beautiful, clean, and spacious. Very highly reccomended for a run or an outing with family.

Great venue, Had a fabulous day at 2nd annual Celtic Music Festival. Great music, beer was good, food was mediocre. People were super.

Very relaxing and scenic. Climbed the tower stairs and got some great pictures. Nice area to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Places to picnic along the water. Lots of birds to watch.

Great place to exercise. Many bike riders, walkers and joggers.

Excellent park very pretty lights at Christmas time

BEAUTIFUL! Just beautiful. I am so happy with this park and how it was built I almost can't put it into words. Me and my partner brought our 8 year old and my 13 year old niece and had a nice time jogging along the palm tree pathways and rowing along the water. We have come here both during the day and night and every time it is pristinely clean and amazingly beautiful. So beyond happy this is here!!

Great park, gets a little crowded around the holidays but lots of friendly people. 3 mile track (3.4) wraps around the lake. Not a lot of shade on the far side of the track so make sure to wear sunblock and shades on sunny days! Wish we had more big parks like this around south Florida.

Great place, whether it's the jogging/walking paths, the biking area or rowing by myself this place is freaking fantastic! Plenty of parking even during events I have found parking to be abundant.

This a great park for active people. Good playground for all ages with lots of shade.

Of course the water was beautiful and the last time that we were there we saw a bird in the water

A great place to bike or walk. It's about a 5 mile paved loop around the water.

Love this space. I love what the city has done and made this a wonderful spot for recreational and competitive sport.

Wish there were a few shades areas on the track, can get brutally hot in the Flirida sub, but a nice track with decent bathrooms.

Very nice what they did here, beautiful area to walk, run, biking etc The only con is that is too close to the highway and it can get noisy in some areas. Then it pretty much connects to another nice walk around the mall lakes. Go to the tower and enjoy a nice view!

Very beautiful rowing venue. Unfortunately for us it was extremely windy the day we were there but as far as venues for rowing, it was fantastic. Only suggestion I would have is that they need to get with a bicycle store and offer bikes for rent during events. The sides of the course have pavement the length of the coarse. I would have rented a bike in a heartbeat to get to follow my daughters boat. Maybe someday.

Beautiful park . Don't go when it rains turns into a swamp

This was hands down the best venue I have ever been to for rowing. This is a world class race course for a reason.

The row up to the stakeboats was on a 1500m practice course. The stakeboats and race course are on the other side of a land bridge that the chase car drives on. The course itself is a 10 lane 2k, but I believe it could be increased to 12 lanes, as there was space for a return lane that was unused. The actual return lane is a canal that runs around the island to get back to the docks.

The conditions during my row were incredible. The course was built to reduce wake. Racing was delayed for a few hours for a thunderstorm, but about 10 minutes after the thunderstorm, the course was glass.

Overall, I loved this place. If I were ever given the chance to come back, I would take it. I would definitely recommend this place to any rower, as it is truly amazing.

Great walking, biking, rowing, and hiking. Three tracks to choose from about 3 miles around.

Great place for regatta. Plenty of parking and space for tents.

A beautiful park that hosts frequent events, recreational opportunities, has a shaded children's playground with solar powered cell phone charging stations, scenic lake with convenient and scenic biking and walking paths, accessible bathroom and drinking fountain facilities, and diverse natural wildlife.

Beware of the hoards of mosquitos in the evening, though. But during the daytime, especially early morning, this park stands out as a Sarasota treasure.

Great Public Park!
Walking, jogging, bike riding, rollerblading, around the lake is very popular. The park runs parallel to North Cattlemen Road and you can see Interstate 75. As I was walking here, I saw this great car parked in the parking lot. I'd never seen a car that look like polished stainless steel before. Always something to look at with lots going on here.

Perfectly paved, several points of access with parking, trails, bike path, and rowing facilities with restrooms and a playground. Perfect distance trail to get a great workout in. As far as the sun, ummm it's Florida Loves. That's why you're here! So cover up, wear sunscreen, and enjoy!

Beautiful park, with an amazing like to kayak in and amazing tracks for exercise.

We are regulars at Nathan Benderson. Great fitness trails around the lake to bike or run without the rush of getting run over. A nice park for the kids and lots of events sick as the Easter egg hunt.

Good park, not enough lighting in the winter months, could use more shade trees.

My son loves the park here. It's much better now that they've installed big shades too. The park doesn't get so hot.

Great venue for rowing! Picnic tables are near the water and there are covered stands for those who want to get out of the weather.

Parking can get muddy when it rains so be sure to think about footwear choices. Also, be prepared in case you have to push your car out!

Near a number of shopping and restaurant choices of you get bored with the action and need a break.

Such a stunningly gorgeous spot, we just moved in right next to the park and the whole area is beautiful, we can t wait to explore more!

Very nice park for little kids not much for the adults though I like the Bike Tool stations

Parking is sometimes chaotic but once you get to the park, it's a lot of fun. I never have trouble finding a spot to view the boat races. Bathrooms are clean and easy to find, scores are posted at various locations and quickly. The park is also a nice place to walk or run around in a semi-serene setting despite its proximity to the interstate.

Worst thing that ever happened to my neighborhood. I pay property tax. For my tax dollars I get to maintain the county owned right of way. We now just pay Benderson to maintain a Sarasota county park. If it costs less than the county pays him or he stiffs the contractors, I guess it's another Randy money maker.
4K cars/wk speed down my 30mph residential road. They pass at dangerously high speeds and throw garbage on our lawns. The same cars drive up and down my street dozens of times a day. EVERY DAY. Evidently an effort to fraudulently inflate traffic data to prepare for the new Mote at Randyland.
