TL;DR: My bank and my credit union both let me dow...
TL;DR: My bank and my credit union both let me down, but I got a new car because of customer service that went above and beyond for an out-of-state deal.
I was looking into purchasing a car from this dealership as I saw an unbeatable deal on a civic on their website and started a dialogue with Bruce K. (internet sales manager) at this dealership. I knew this car would not last more than a week because of the $4k discount. I have never had a new car before, and even though I could put a decent down payment on it, I still needed a loan. My bank and credit union both said they would let me know if my application went through in 24-48 hours, but a week later they still hadn't gotten back to me, or kept finding new forms that they forgot about. In the mean time, Bruce was helping me to navigate the loan system, even calling both of the institutions to try and get answers or speed things along when I told him that they were not getting back to met quick enough to keep our deal moving along. Well, I purchased a plane ticket to go get the car as I lived a couple states away, and had made a reservation on the car that lasted 48 hours. When I told Bruce the day before my flight that I wouldn't be able to go as I hadn't secured a loan, he told me not to give up and made it so the car would be reserved for me without me having to reserve it again. He stayed well into the night past when his shift ended and worked with his manager and the financial department to come up with something (I am talking that he was at work at 9am and found the solution at about 8 or 9pm. That night, he showed me an AMAZING deal that I couldn't say no to, so the plan was back in place. The following day I met with him in person, signed for the great loan offer that was provided the day before, and got driving in my new civic in a couple of hours. Hands down the best customer service I have ever had. If you want someone that goes beyond expectations, that does not pressure you into any decisions, and really wants to help you get a car, try to find time to work with Bruce K. He delivered exactly what he promised with no exceptions.
As an aside, I wanted to speak about the professionalism and respect I received from this location. Being from out-of-state, there was a little more paper work that had to be done. I worked with Fabian in their finance department on some of the forms. He had only been promoted to that position the week before, but his level of professionalism, knowledge and character was great. I really appreciated the fact that if I asked a question and he didn't know for sure, he was not afraid to go ask his boss instead of giving a BS response.
There were a couple of bumps while at the dealership, but there was absolutely nothing that was deal breaking and that couldn't be corrected by the hard working individuals I met with.
