My wife and I were looking to purchase a good used car and I was tired of shopping craigslist as I haven't gone to a dealership in 8 years because it's always a hassle. My wife found a 2011 Hyundai Veracruz on the Auto Nation Chandler website. We called and spoke to Corey a Sales Representative who was very nice and super informative about the vehicle in which we inquired about. Corey told us the vehicle needed to be detailed but we could come look at it to see if we would be interested in vehicle, as we did not know much about the Veracruz. We met Corey at the dealership that same afternoon. First of all let me say Corey is an AWESOME!!! person to talk with. Corey took the time to take us out to the detail shop to see the vehicle which was exactly what we were looking for. Corey took the time to explain to us the history of the vehicle and answered all of our questions without rushing us. Corey explained how to put a 72 hour hold on the vehicle which we did. Corey called us the next morning and told us the vehicle was not quite ready yet so we went and ate lunch. After lunch we met with Corey test drove the vehicle signed a contract at a very fair asking price. And we drove home the vehicle all in taking about an hour and a half to two hours tops. What a great experience we had and Corey made all the difference, friendly knowledgeable, no BS and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you Corey for a great experience you made me like dealerships again.
The best experience I've ever had at a car dealership. Everyone at the dealership, especially Joel and David (my salesman), were very friendly and made me feel at home. I didn't feel any pressure and the deal I received couldn't be better.

Much confusion over the maintenance plan I purchased covered thier 'Reccomended' services. $600 later, I found out the hard way. My plan didn't cover much.
Also, tried contacting managers on my concern, no one called me back. So I went back, only to hear, 'buyer beware', argument.
Matter still not resolved. The two stars is for the excellent service while their and, unfortunately, for not contacting me back about my concerns.
I wish I could put less than 1 star, they sold my wife and I a cr -v that had NO working head lights then refused to fix the plastic cracked inside the trunk. As if this was not enough they lied to my face twice about the limits of our certified pre owned Honda warranty, I had to call Honda United states headquarters before they "grudgingly" admitted they would fix the shifter console light. The second level manager tried to lie as well but I had the contact name and number of the Honda headquarters and they set him straight.
Avoid these people like the plague they will smile lie than denie. I have had nothing but problems with these people not wanting to honor the certified pre owned warranty and dragging there feet on repairs.
Find a decent dealership not these jokers, the employees eat the food meant for the customers for god sakes.

Very nice people my oil change was free because of the wait. I ask if they were sure no charge? I was told yes free and they apologized for the wait. THE WORST FOLLOW UP SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD TO DATE. HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED, I PURCHASED THE BRAND NEW 2017 CIVIC SI FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND BOUGHT THE TIRE AND WHEEL AND REPAIR CONTRACTS FROM THIS DEALERSHIPS. I RAN OVER A NAIL ON FRIDAY NIGHT AND THE TIRE WAS RUINED. SO SATURDAY MORNING AT 9AM I CALL THE TIRE WARRANTY PHONE NUMBER SHE SAYS ITS COVERED AND GIVES ME A CLAIM NUMBER. I CALL THE DEALERSHIP AND GET A ADVISOR NAMED TONY, (here is where it takes a turn for the worse) I give Tony the claim number and tire size that came on the vehicle they sold me, he says give me a little bit and I ll check to see if we have the tire and I ll call you back. I didn t receive any call back from Tony, I call again and wait on hold for 10 minutes, I hang up. I call back again now it s 3pm and have to leave a voicemail, I state that we had spoke 5 hours ago and have not received a response from him. There not open Sunday. So Monday morning first thing I expect a call back right...not. No follow thru from these people at all. I call and get the service director this time. Explain how disappointed and let down I am, he says Monday is Tony s day off. Well that s convenient, so he can leave more people disappointed from Saturday. I think Steve is the service directors name, so he says I ll call you back in 5 minutes, we ll he called back. It s wasnt 5 min. No surprise there, I ve been lied to for days at this point. So it must be in there training to just tell people what they want to hear and not follow thru. Steve says he ordered the tire from Nevada because no one in town has it, and it will be in before they open on Tuesday, the tire was promised to be in at 4am, he said that s when they get there over night shipment. And that they open at 7 am and wanted to know if he could call me that early, I said yes. Guess what, no call at 7 am again. At 9 am Tony calls and says that the tire has not arrived yet. Nice of him to check his voicemail 3 days later. Here is where i am done with having understanding and patience, he calls back at 1130 and says still no tire, I ask if him to use a tracking number to see where it is since it was supposed to be in at 4am. He says that don t use tracking numbers now at this point they must think I m stupid. This text message I receive from Tony at 2:30 on Tuesday. Hello, it's Tony at Honda. The tire just got here. I also found out that for some reason it got shipped fed ex instead of Honda which is why it didn't get here on the early delivery. So tell me what fedex overnight doesn t have a tracking number? My wife took the rim over there to get the tire changed. And I have it back now. I was without a car for 4 days for a tire, lied to and treated like I was bothering them, I bought the car there. The extended contracts there. Had to take them the rim and tire to get changed. I would not trust these people at all, they want your money the first time and have no follow up care at all.
Mine was a tough one and they took care of me and worked with me.
Working with the internet sales division, Peter Cramer and Thomas Johnson worked out a deal that I thought was fair on a new 2019 Accord 2.0T. We set an appointment, checked the vehicle out thoroughly, and were on our way to paperwork in no time. The paperwork always takes some time to process through, but this may have been the quickest turn around I've had so far at a dealership. Great staff and clean facility. Thanks for making this an easy purchase!

When from a 5 star to 1...I had my front and rear brakes down for 500 dollars this week. called today Sept 19 because my TCS and check engine light came on. I called and was told to come and I said I would be there in 30 mins since I am driving from San Tab Valley. I will be relocating on Monday and had done the service do my wife's odyssey as she will be here for next few months until we close on a house back east. I came to dealer and no one at service waiting for me. Salesperson try to get his manager, who blew him off and told him to just tell me to drop car off. How do I get home and how does me wife come get the car with 4 kids at the house? Extremely disappointed, have been loyal customer over last two years serving our Odyssey and Pilot.
Please note that my check engine and TCS light came on on Sept 19th 2015. Brakes were done on 9/14/15.

I bring my car to Honda exclusively and Nate Flynn is always my Service Tech. Nate has been taking Great care of my car for years. I have the Utmost Faith that he will make sure that everything is done properly and in a timely fashion. I never have to worry about anything. Once I hand my keys to him, I can be sure that there is nothing to worry about. When I get my car back, I never think twice about what I brought it in for. Honda is fortunate to have such a skilled and caring person in their Service Dept.
They were able to get me in within a day and provided professional, efficient service. Greg Stapley, Service Advisor, kept me informed through the repair process. He was professional and knowledgeable. No upselling, which was appreciated!
Horrible experience with salesman Carl. Friend went in to buy a used Civic, Carl did not realize until toward the end of the transaction that the car had already been sold. Sneakily listed a different car on the paperwork and tried to get her to sign anyway. After she notices, he leaves her waiting for almost an hour just to tell her that the car had already been sold. Carl then tried to push her into a brand new car as a "make-right" for the mistake. Unbelievable. When I called to get clarity on the situation, Carl was immediately hostile and hung up on me. I will make sure never to do business with AutoNation again, and ensure that as many people as possible do not as well.
My dad and I went into AutoNation Honda Chandler this last Saturday 5/25. I was involved in a car accident days before and needed a new vehicle due to my car being totaled.
We were greeted by Erick Villalba while we were walking the lot. I cannot say enough great things about him! He was so patient, knowledgeable, understanding of my situation, and so so kind! I never felt pressured one bit into making a purchase. I was going back and forth from a 2019 Civic and a 2019 Accord. I purchased a beautiful 2019 Accord and fell in love with it. He explained the whole vehicle to me and was so thorough.

I had a great experience here, except for the finance guy. I bought a gently used Honda CR-V - very happy with the purchase. They knew the car very well and had answers to all my questions. They told me they weren't there to SELL me a car, but to HELP ME BUY, and they lived up to that philosophy. There was no arm-twisting to try to sell me something I didn't want - that is until I got to the finance guy. I paid for the vehicle outright, so I didn't need financing, but I still needed to complete all the paperwork with the finance guy. I do not buy service plans for a couple of very good reasons, but I understand why it's in the financial interest of the dealer to sell me a service plan. What annoyed me was the way I was treated after saying "no" to the extended service plan. He kept after me from a couple of different angles and implied that I was stupid because I would save so much money. No, stupid would be my thinking that YOU will make less money by selling me a service plan and thus I would save more. My policy with pushy salespeople like this is to just say no, leaving them nothing to argue about, but even with that he went around and around about this. Was I glad to get out of there and just get my car, which I love.
I really like the sales people and I would go back here. Next time, if the finance guy starts trying to harangue me about a service plan, I'll threaten to call him out by name in another review. Maybe that will quiet him . . .
Excellent customer service. They also make sure to sanitize everything and are keeping safe due to Covid19. I highly recommend going here for buying a vehicle, as well as getting the vehicles service done.

I,m 70 years old and have bought many cars over the years. This by far has been the easiest experience ever buying a car at a dealership. My internet salesman Keith Campbell was the best. Update on 2/11/2020: I tried to call back to the General Manager but was guided to the voicemail, I left the message but no response so far. Anyway, I was contacted by the Honda US Customer Service twice, unfortunately they were neither honoring any warranty extension, nor willing to initiate any further research on my bizarre door failure (even I offered to mail them the old, defective parts). Very disappointed on American Honda Motor this time. I also own a Toyota and a Mazda, and previously owned two used Fords, never had a scary experience like this.
My service adviser Joe was patient and efficient in solving the power sliding door jam issue on my 2015 Honda Odyssey, I would give him 5-star. This 3-star is to show my frustration on the product quality failure on this minivan (I wish it's only an individual case) and the Honda dealer couldn't help us with a warranty repair but charged more than $1400.
I always get my Honda service at AutoNation in Chandler. Everyone is always courteous and friendly. The work is well done. I have been going there for over 10 years and have never had issue.

Then the work performed was done by a very experienced mechanic there so I felt confident that all the work would be done correctly and it was. Overall dealing with the finance department is very substandard. Very difficult to get someone to talk to. Dillon however was a great help and stepped in to help me out.
Bought a certified 2014 Honda Pilot from " AutoNation Honda" This was the first time i needed service since i purchasing. I had bad experience with a person that i was paired with ( Candace) . i bought a used car with 24x miles on it since it was a used car i brought with all the extra warranties to cover if anything happens to it. She asked me have i done 30K Miles service i told her NO i brought this Pilot with 24K miles this is my 1st oil change. she told me " i will look into this" and called me to let me know. i got a texted from her and it said all i need is transmission fluid $109. i got her text next day said it's ready to pick up at " Cashiers on the express side" i went in there cashiers told me go to other side with double door to pick up from there very bad communication. After i sign off and paid my service i requested to speak with Candace about my car waiting almost 5 mins she didn't show up. i left with disappointed.
i thought who ever check you in and will check you out. UNFORTUNATELY NOT HAPPEN TO ME.

The salesman keep pushing us to buy an american used car instead of our targeted honda accord. When we decided not to buy the car right away, the salesman immediately give us a "dont waste my time" attitude.

Don t be fooled by the no haggle price! Even when you find things wrong with car (electric side mirrors not responding, stains, sun damage) they refuse to go down on price and then make you wait forever for finance. Don t be fooled by them and shop around.

They do not care for their customers needs. When needing to cancel warranty be sure they take care of it while you re there. If not they will put your information to the side and not worry about it until you call and ask about the process to find out it was never done when I clearly seen the paper work given to the manager to take care of but when I spoke to the manager he was dishonest about not receiving the paper work when I clearly seen her give him the paperwork when I proved that I did he gave me attitude through out the whole cancellation process. Yes, I called corporate but seems they do not care as well. I will never go to AutoNation again or recommend to any one!

We had such a great experience at AutoNation. This is a dealership that truly cares about customer service and goes above and beyond. The repair took 1 hour :30 mins. Only but the wait for shuttle service was annoying . The moment I reached home after dropping of my car I get call from them that the car is ready.

I had by far the easiest and quickest vehicle purchase of my life this month. All by phone, text and email. The only in person contact was to sign contracts and get the keys. Oh, and the truck is a beauty too.

I have had all maintenance performed at this dealership, and it has been a quick and pleasant experience each time. Beyond the attentiveness of the service advisors - Keith is terrific- and workmanship of the technicians, the shuttle service, when utilized, is prompt and courteous and the lounge area is accommodating and comfortable. I have purchased three vehicles from this location, and it will be my first stop when I am next again in the market.

Edit: Just brought my car in for service based off a concern I had with a noise coming from the engine block. They took my car in the next morning, right on time. I was given a loaner car and back at home in time for work. The entire facility was clean and all staff members were wearing masks and gloves. They really do care about their customers and take this pandemic seriously.
They were unable to replicate the noise I had recorded... which was good! But Greg didn t just start and stop the engine and call it a day. They kept it overnight and opened up the engine block to be absolutely sure nothing was wrong. I appreciate that kind of thoroughness even for what was a one off issue. Keep up the good work!

If you care about your credit, avoid. deceptive sales tactics and lying to make sales. I believe our finance person was named Dustin. Explained explicitly that if adding on these plans would cause multiple credit runs, DO NOT DO IT. He assured me that they would not and boom, got many alerts for credit runs. Once I saw them, I reached out to get it solved, Months and many follow ups later, was told nothing can be done. If it would have been handled immediately, maybe there would have been some accountability, but Cramer, the e-commerce director, dropped the ball. To say I hate this place is an understatement.
This is our second purchase from here and our second miserable experience. Purchased a new car a few weeks ago and our salesman was GREAT! Zero complaints about him. However, I watched the manager humiliate and berate a different salesman. No hiding it. I was just sitting at the table waiting and he did it right in front of all of us. Also had the pleasure of listening to an employee in the front finance area scream who the F*CK are you? Masks were not enforced and I am high risk and pregnant so I had to keep trying to move.
Overall, it was just a disgusting and poorly ran business and I would rather drive twice as far than put money toward this Honda again. Would not recommend.

When I scheduled my routine maintenance with AutoNation Honda Chandler, I did not notice that the person making the appointment had mistaken my request for the next day and scheduled it for later that same day. So when I showed up on Tuesday instead of Monday, we all were perplexed. I live in Scottsdale and really didn't want to have to drive to Chandler at a later date. They quickly checked their current schedule and were able to get my car in immediately. I was very pleased that accommodation. And as I have always find, the waiting room was very nice, socially distanced, etc. They were quicker than anticipated, also as they have been in the past. Out of there in under an hour and a half. Love my 2018 Honda Pilot and this dealership!

I wanted to give AutoNation Honda Chandler a higher rating but I'm still dealing with an issue that the Finance Manager caused. I paid cash for the car I purchased. The Finance Manager still ran my credit, causing a Hard Inquiry on my credit report. I was very clear with the Sales Person that I worked with, that I was going to pay cash. I showed him the transfer of funds between my bank account, that was going to take a few days to settle. I paid $1000 down, so that I could come back once the transfer settled, to pay the balance in full. Yet, Mr. Stapley ran my credit. When I spoke to Mr. Stapley he was dismissive and patronizing, shrugging his shoulders, telling me all I have to do is dispute it. I shouldn't have to jump through these hoops in the first place. Even the salesman was surprised that my credit was run & agreed with my frustration. I was also told that a steering wheel cover was going to be included, when I picked up the car, because the steering wheel was worn & brittle. That didn't happen. It's not a big deal, but it shouldn't have been offered. I also noticed that the address on my temporary registration was incorrect. I called 4 times & left voicemails, & didn't receive a call back until exactly a week later. The last time I called, I told the receptionist that I've called several times, left voicemails with no result. She apologized, took all of my information and said she would send an email to everyone who should be able to help. I finally received a call today. I was told, twice, that they are super busy "because everyone is buying a car right now". I didn't comment, but felt like reminding him that I just purchased a car just a week ago. There is also an issue with the compass calibration. I've Googled/Youtube'd how to reset it, but I can't figure out. I should take it back to the service department to fix, but I'm hesitant.

Feels like the only dealership that doesn t force a whole list of unnecessary dealer add-ons like their security system, paint protect, and trim guard, which just add to your final price. They also don t use your car as a mobile billboard by putting a decal on your new vehicle. With their excellent TrueCar pricing, lowest sales tax in the Valley, and excellent customer service, it was the best choice for my family.

Had my 10k service today. The service advisor told me it would take about an hour and a half. Called me to tell me it was ready for pickup in exactly 90 minutes and that included a very thorough car wash.

As a first time buyer, I was very happy with the purchase I made from Autonation. I went to a few other dealerships before Autonation to look for a good deal. I bought a Honda Accord Sedan. I love my new car and the deal I received. None of the other dealerships had the quality of service that Autonation had. When you go there ask for Jon Flick. The guy was a straight shooter. He didn t try to talk me into anything unnecessary. He was honest and so was the manager. I ve had my vehicle for a week and I have no regrets whatsoever.
