This church is splendid!
First of all, the external colonnade is something fantastic, not to mention the dome and the bell tower: the latter, visible in Corso Giacomo Matteotti, is the tallest in the city (just think you can see up to Corso Buenos Aires, corner Via Melzo ).
Even more beautiful is the interior, with the inevitable paintings and light colors that prevail!
Important to highlight that inside is really great!
And one is amazed to observe the vastness of the church and the grandeur of the dome!
If you visit Milan, do not miss to visit this wonderful church, located between the Duomo and the Basilica of San Babila!

Small hidden treasure in Milan. Don't distract yourself with the stores in front of you and take a look inside. The only problem is the people in the front door but don't let that stop you from entering!

Large mid-nineteenth century circular church inspired by the Pantheon. Its large dome and its bell tower (the highest in Milan) cannot escape those who pass from the Cathedral to S.Babila. The Basilica of San Carlo al Corso, was built in 1840 and resembles the Pantheon in Rome. It is located in the heart of Milan, and whoever comes to visit the Dome immediately reaches it. Beautiful neoclassical basilica of the Servite friars community dedicated to St. Carlo Borromeo in about 1840, there is a resemblance to the Pantheon in Rome which, however, is enormous in comparison. The small square in front of the basilica does not enhance it as much and neither does the bar that defiles the facade and covers part of it, around the basilica 36 Corinthian granite columns, beautiful the front with columns and pediment. The Basilica of San Carlo al Corso is a Catholic church in the center of Milan, located in the homonymous square, along Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Built from 1832 to 1847 to replace the medieval church of Santa Maria dei Servi. The current building is a fine example of neoclassical style, inspired by the Roman Pantheon. The exterior has a frontal colonnade, which extends to the sides forming a square square, open on Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
