I have already visited it on many occasions and I like its interior too much, moreover the artistic works inside it recommend a visit. A must see if you come to Milan, with the volunteers of the Italian Touring Club who open and close it at set times, you can always visit them and you can ask them for a lot of information about the church itself.

This church is splendid!
First of all, the external colonnade is something fantastic, not to mention the dome and the bell tower: the latter, visible in Corso Giacomo Matteotti, is the tallest in the city (just think you can see up to Corso Buenos Aires, corner Via Melzo ).
Even more beautiful is the interior, with the inevitable paintings and light colors that prevail!
Important to highlight that inside is really great!
And one is amazed to observe the vastness of the church and the grandeur of the dome!
If you visit Milan, do not miss to visit this wonderful church, located between the Duomo and the Basilica of San Babila!

Small hidden treasure in Milan. Don't distract yourself with the stores in front of you and take a look inside. The only problem is the people in the front door but don't let that stop you from entering!

Large mid-nineteenth century circular church inspired by the Pantheon. Its large dome and its bell tower (the highest in Milan) cannot escape those who pass from the Cathedral to S.Babila. The glance as soon as you enter leaves you amazed. There are large altars with beautiful statues but few paintings. The environment does not help to create an atmosphere of recollection. To visit the altar with the mummified body of Blessed Porro.

The Basilica of San Carlo al Corso, was built in 1840 and resembles the Pantheon in Rome. It is located in the heart of Milan, and whoever comes to visit the Dome immediately reaches it. The pedestrian street that has the facade and which is one of the main promenade paths of the city makes it very popular. Its round interior, with a very large opening in the vault and a high turnkey height, impresses you to create a special audition.

Beautiful and large CHURCH, located in the most chaotic center of milan in cso v.emanuele and pSBabila.Not for this does it lose the remarkable Spirituality. It enters and the circular shape seems to embrace the faithful. Beautiful altar and always priests for confessions. This is thanks to these FRIARS, thanks to Father Mariano (a very welcoming priest and a shepherd of souls.

The basilica of San Carlo al corso is located in the historic center of Milan.
The current building dates from the 19th century.
The facade is in neoclassical style.
The interior has a central plan, in neoclassical style, which is the most characteristic example in Lombardy.
The features that make it interesting:
- the spectacular neoclassical dome;
- wooden crucifix from the Canova school;
- the remains of a member of a noble Milanese family: G. Porro;
- the fact that it is considered the "pantheon" of Milan.
Free entry.

I have been attending church for a long time, an appropriate place for personal and community prayer: rosary, crown of 7 sorrows, eucharistic celebrations (masses).
It is the Church of the Servants of Mary.
There is a beautiful statue of Our Lady of Sorrows and a statue of San Carlo that communicates San Luigi Gonzaga to the first communion. There is also the mask of San Carlo. There is the body of Blessed Giovannangelo Porro, who died on 10/25/1505, so more than 500 years old, he was a Servant of Mary.
Great church for meditation and also for confession.

Beautiful church in neoclassical style, it has taken the place of a previous church; is inspired by the Pantheon in Rome for the circular shape; inside note the chapel of Blessed Giovannangelo Porro buried here because he would have interceded for the healing of St. Charles Borromeo when he was young and sick

Beautiful neoclassical basilica of the Servite friars community dedicated to St. Carlo Borromeo in about 1840, there is a resemblance to the Pantheon in Rome which, however, is enormous in comparison. The small square in front of the basilica does not enhance it as much and neither does the bar that defiles the facade and covers part of it, around the basilica 36 Corinthian granite columns, beautiful the front with columns and pediment. Internally it is the only basilica where it feels a minimum of heating is circular, various frescoes by Zenale, Testori, Lomazzo, entering the holy water fonts on the sides which are the true giant valves of a bivalve mollusk of the Pacific Ocean, the weight ranges from 200 to 300 kg. The church is not always open, it has closing breaks, it opens 7 30/12 and 16.00 / 20.00

The Basilica of San Carlo al Corso is a Catholic church in the center of Milan, located in the homonymous square, along Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Built from 1832 to 1847 to replace the medieval church of Santa Maria dei Servi. The current building is a fine example of neoclassical style, inspired by the Roman Pantheon. The exterior has a frontal colonnade, which extends to the sides forming a square square, open on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The interior is made up of a large circular hall surrounded by a red granite colonnade that, like the Pantheon, touches the perforated walls of exedras that form chapels, one of which belongs to the original ancient convent church, dedicated to the dyed.
At the center opens a deep presbytery with a small dome, side columns and a very rich ornamentation.
Above the eighteenth-century high altar (from the old basilica), there is a wooden Crucifix and a beautiful marble relief with San Carlo Borromeo that gives the first communion to San Luigi Gonzaga. Very beautiful and interesting to visit. It is a place of prayer in an oasis of peace and tranquility.

Beautiful circular-shaped basilica in Piazza San Carlo, which leads from Corso V. Emanuele. Characteristic for its shape, it has a central altar and other side altars, rich in statues, paintings, frescoes and wooden furniture. At the sides of the entrance on the wall, the inscription or rather the motto of San Carlo Borromeo (Humilitas), deserves a visit, out of hours of religious services, to better appreciate all the artistic beauties contained therein. Pay attention to the schedules
