i hate it so much its so stupid it honestly makes me wanna drop out

It's repetitive, boring, and in many cases, tries far too hard. It takes too long to read out instructions, and in some cases after a certain number of mess ups, it forces you back into a tutorial. The voices are grating, and the animation basic and old. It looks like something made for Windows 95, and honestly it should have stayed there.

yeah i am in 3rd grade and my teacher makes our class this is trash

We used this in kindergarten back in the day and I thought this was below our age group, in kindergarten! I feel very sorry for those in higher grade levels- 4th/5th grade that still have to use this. I am going to be a senior in high school this fall and looking back at this, this program was very unsettling to me. The graphics were weird and the voices were like nails on a chalkboard. This program did not supplement me enough education material because in 1st grade, I ended up struggling in math, which I-station did not help me with. Wasted 30 min of "computer time" in class when I could've been on MS paint or something. So weird that I still remember this.

It has some interesting sections of learning all in all the only thing bad about it are the tests they are like 45 minutes long. A good idea to make this game better would be to make the tests a little bit shorter.

My grand kids started using Istation this week. Due to Covid, they are doing virtual learning from home this year. They both really enjoy using it along with their other lessons. The assessments evaluate the kid's knowledge and teaches them math and reading at an appropriate level. They have fun, it keeps their attention and does a great job educating. It's a wonderful resource for the kid's education!

This is so restricted. We use this at my school, and i'm just waiting for everything to pass by. But seriously, not even a skip button for people who have already seen it before? COME ON. And when was it updated, 2009? low quality audio, backgrounds that look like some stock image that claims they're "straight out of the future", and no subtitles for deaf people. I already hate this, AND THIS IS ONLY THE FIRST PART! In fact, the asteroid blasting game cutscene looks more fun then everything that i've seen come out of this piece of garbage. 1 out of five, will never install.

It's alright, but once you get to like 8th grade you start to get sick of it.

This sucks, This app just teaches us the stuff we already know. from all the reviews ive seen, they're all true.

They treat us like babies and explain everything like it's the first time we've done it. They act like we don't know how to read. Then when we try to read it says "Please choose an answer choice" about 50 times. We would give it zero stars if we could. Please improve your programming. I believe you can do much, much better with all this new technology in your hands.

I LIKE THIS FORMAT BUT IT MAKES ME FEEL STRESSED THE WHOLE DAY SINCE I'M IN 3RD GRADE

If you're looking for a program that can bump up to a child's skill level and let them learn something new, you've come to the wrong place. Wrong times 5000. I am in the 6th grade and I have to do this as assigned by my teacher. I do a pretest, no problem there, but when I get into the real thing, I wanted to vomit almost immediately. The talking quality is bad, the animations are barely animations, and the worst part is that it's not even to my skill level! Come on! If you want students to learn, at least get it close to what they're capable of. I have talked to many of my friends and they are experiencing the same issue as I am. I learned decimals in the 4th grade, I learned fractions last year, but they're talking about multiplication and division. Already knew my multiplication and division facts up to 12 in the 3rd grade. If you're gonna market this application, at least make it worth it. TL;DR: Material not up to my skill level, not just for me.

I honestly love I station. we get to learn lots when we do it and also we dont have to do much that day. Im an 8th grader so dont worry you will get to like it. Thanks Istation.

When I first went on I thought aww, heck no. It showed some random guy in pajamas jumping off a wall and the animation was terrible. 0 stars istation! My 11-month old brother can beat this.

This app completely sucks. they ask the same question the multiple times for the whole year, in their so called "adaptive" learning. I wish i could rate this 0 stars. trashtrashtrashtrash

This is a peice of trash and i think is it fell into a hole and died no one would miss it

Stations is alright when you take the main test it shows were your at and other things just try it for a month and you will see have it improves your skills.

I don't like Istation. I am in 5th grade and I have been in this program since 2nd grade. This wasted my time of reviewing the same lesson again and again, on the same exact problems. You should at the least add a coin/points program where you can buy some prizes like, a pen or pencils. For the things like shirt, they should be expensive. like 3000 coins/points. Based on the reveiws, I can tell that hardly anybody likes this program. I know some other kids are reading this and agreeing with me. There might be some people who enjoys this app like my sister. We as a school keep having freezing problems. It will take about 10 minutes to get into our diagnostic learning lesson. I hope you will fix this problem. Thank you for reading this reveiw and I hope you consider using my idea. I might change your business by a lot. Again, thank you for your cooperation.

NOPE, terrible! This thing is so stupid. It's like for newborns thru pre-k. I'm in fifth grade and my school is making us do it until 7th or 8th grade. It is SOOOOOOOOO babyish. They MUST update this baby program. I'm gonna be 110% honest (But no offense): this sucks

This app.........sucks this app is so boring freaking freezing problems my god.When I do my assignments for advanced reading or math guess what it gives me basic stuff.Words that SO EASY to spell and passage problems that is a piece of cake."What is the characters emotion" Really it is only one paragraph and that stuff is supposed to be advanced.I'm disappointed in this app,I'm just imagining the parents faces when they find out what there kids have been doing this whole time doing basic math skills and reading as well.Fix the freezing problems and put more content than that other basic trash

While I agree with the sites purpose i do not agree with the site itself. it is usually a grade ahead or behind the student in question. It can give a 4th grade student a 7th grade question and a 7th grade student a 4th grade question. Overall i would not recommended this program

Entirely garbage, piece of trash that I can't believe was made with good intent. It's so bad, that I when I have to use it I feel like I'm being tortured in a third world country. If you're a fan of a freezing, educational game with "captivating characters", a data system that doesn't display anything right, tutorials at every single awful test of reading (even if you have already done it before), then you should still not use this, because this awful creation should not exist and doesn't deserve anybody using it unless they are wanting to feel pure evilness in just an "educational program".

I teach 3rd grade and our school is utilizing this program. It really works well for our grade and is an excellent way to collect data on a student. I can easily see what areas they need help in. I see my students enjoying it and they can see the benefits of continuing to practice their reading on this program. I highly recommend this program for all teachers!

me being a fifth grader I accidentally put the wrong school and no it wont let me go back and I have to do stories over abut 5-9 times

This is just awful. It is so boring and you don't actually learn anything. By far the worst about Istation though is Paige Turner. She is supposed to help teach but in the end you just end up feeling frustrated and annoyed by her annoying voice and irritating comments. I do not recommend Istation to anyone and would be very happy if teachers would stop using it.

I've been doing this for as long as I've been in the education system, and I've hated it ever since. Whole class moaned whenever we had to, the lessons are repetitive, and for the longest time it's asked me to spell Counterfeit, and by now the lessons are years old. We can't let this stuff still continue to plague our education.

avoid this place at all costs. it is infected with bad math quizzes and terrible graphics.

This trash is a waste of time. I don't know who made this but please shut it down. Our teacher makes us do it and everyone hates it.

This is a great app, and this helps students lots. This also makes me excited at my school to do this. Makes me excited, teaches me grammar, which I am using now.

If I could I would give this a _0 stars I've seen a 10 month do this omg and some 1st graders I now still need this thing the 5th grade uses this oh my omg all this is is reading I learned what they call 2nd grade reading in omg kindergarten weird stuff if u know how to make stop games from working email and give thumbs up if I'm right
