Excellent wine bar. Great bartenders. They ask you good questions to get a sense of what you would like. Affable, spirited, and not intrusive. Easy going spirited crowd. We had an outstanding California cabernet. Had a great white on a prior visit. Didn t get a chance to try to their food menu, which seems to have a broad range of offerings. Had a number of servings of their charcuterie, which was OK, but my sense is are not worth the price. A few very small pieces of cheese and very thing slices of salami with big chunks of bread. I was there a few times as a guest, so cannot comment on the prices. A great place to spend a few hours

What a gem! The servers are super knowledgable, the wines are really great value for money and there are enough people there to help create a great atmosphere while not being too crowded.

Amazing date place or chill place to get a glass of wine. Great selection of white, red and orange wines with great bites as well. This place is ideal because the neighborhood is rather quiet and doesn t get crowded like many other winebars in the area. Several times I ve been there they ve had a special where if you can guess the region and type of wine you can get a glass for free. Highly recommended.

My favorite spot for some wine! I ve been here a few times and every visit I ve had great customer service. Our waitress today was very kind and even on a busy Thursday, she made sure we were taken care of. Many wine selections available and my favorite and best place for meats and cheeses! I ll keep recommending to friends to visit!

Ok some of you are going to think I m crazy but come here and 1000% order the anchovies. It is so rich and delicious and salty and yummy, there was a time when I would have never ordered this but that time is over - Lelabar converted me to an anchovies eater. They also have great happy hour deals on cheese and meat platters and drinks, not to mention the coolest oval bar! Go!

Nice bar, $16 cups of wine. I'm giving a bit of a lower rating because the bartender was a bit inopportune.

What a location!! Stopped by to celebrate a mini Bday for our friend and we were so graciously greeted by not only the staff but the Patrons as well. Chris Chris Chris, an asset to Lelabar! Chris knows his customers especially his wine. Will definitely come to this establishment again and order new items on the delicious menu.

just what a wine bar should be. a very nice carte de vins, tasty nibbles, no one hurrying you, and a bat that accommodates both sitting and getting to know your neighbours. can get loud - but not too uncomfortably so

If you are in the neighborhood please check out this place, the wine selection is top notch, the small bites are fantastic and they have great deals on oysters twice a week. But what keeps me coming back is the superior service, the never fail to recognize us upon our visits and they make us feel right at home.

Servers were very knowledgeable about the wine list, and made informative suggestions when asked. Intimate place but despite quite heavy patronage, offered excellent service. Can get a bit loud due to brick walls and tin ceilings, so prepare.

A cozy spot to enjoy a vast array of wines alongside a selection of meats, cheeses, and small plates. Happy hour was packed, but still managed to find a seat with a little patience. Great choices by the glass, but if you want to be adventurous you can get one of the 700 bottles from the list. Also, most bottles can be opened if you commit to 2 glasses. And despite being busy, the staff was all very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Cute spot for a nice glass of wine. They have great happy hour specials and a fun crowd. We were lucky enough to sit next to the open window on one of the nicest days of the spring so far...

Awesome wine bar with a fantastic choice of great wines. Chris, the manager is very knowledgeable and can guide you to some wine that you'll love. Try the wagyu sliders and the Cheese Trio sandwich!

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :) Food: Oysters and Artisanal Cheese plates are what I recommend. They offer special pairings of oysters and wine as a happy hour offer. Drinks: Excellent. Great wine selection. Space: Very elegant and modern wine bar/restaurant. The bar is oval shaped large and open making it great for mixing and mingling. Great place to bring a date, impress your significant other or get-togethers. Scene: People watching. Romantic. Date night. Pickup scene. Singles scene. Girls night out. Crowd: 30-50s Pick-up scene. Mostly professionals and locals. Service: Excellent! The staff is very courteous, knowledgeable & professional.

Excellent, extensive wine list in a very cozy, warm spot. Our favorite place to settle in for a glass of wine (or two) in the WV for sure. Tip: They will open nearly any bottle for you if you order 2 glasses of it - even it if it's not originally on their "by the glass" list. Tip: Happy hour until 7:30 :)

Very fun ambiance... Drinks are just as fun...and strong! Bartenders know what they are doing and craft these drinks perfectly! I know they have food which I would love to try! We waited about 10minutes to get in on a Saturday night which was not bad at all. I'll be back again!

Ok place. I Was expecting more careful service as i was highly recommended by locals. Perhaps we just got there too early (just opened). Next time in the city perhaps ill give it another try. One extra star for faith

This was a find! Amazing selection of wines and great snacks. Get the cheese and meat platter. The staff here is really knowledgeable and they will pair your snacks with the wine should you wish so. I liked the round bar setting because you get to see barmen work their magic and you can easily strike up a chat with them. Not suitable for groups larger than 4 because you'd have a hard time talking and the space is limited around the bar. This is truly a West Village gem and it's perfect for a romantic night out.

Fun happy hour with great wine and charcuterie. The place gets packed and it's hard to move around during happy hour but bartenders were happy to help with selections and even looked out for a seat.

Two years in a roll to celebrate my birthday in LELABAR. I like to sit by the bar and grab a bottle of Japanese beer. I know this is not the only place in the city to carry this beer, but the vibe here is quite enjoyable. Look forward to coming back soon. 12.27.2019 Another year with Hitachino red rice and white ale! Somehow the red ice is not on the menu;)

Love this place! Stumbled upon here while looking up wine bars in the area. The place is small and cozy, and set up in a circle (can see how this can get crowded during peak hours). There is an extensive wine menu and great little apps to pick at. Had the burrata and olives and it was perfect! Will definitely be back to check out their happy hour, they have great specials!
