A stellar place with quality Mexican blankets, a decent selection of tarot cards, alot of spiritual stuff, jewelry, bumper stickers, posters. A hippie place where both floors are fun to visit. Definitely a must see in Ventura.

It was a great visit it really hasn't changed much since the last time I was there and that was back in 1989 I had moved up north and just got back to my home town Port Hueneme. The employees were great, very helpful and respectful now that I'm 30years order

Salzer's has movies & DVD's you can't find in most stores at discount prices. It has odd trinkets, like incense burners, lamps, magnets, shot glasses, coffee mugs, T-shirts, gag toys, etc that make unique gifts. The sales representatives (like Gilda) are very helpful, knowledgeable, & nice...without being pushy or hoovering.

Salzers takes its place amongst all the funky music stores in history. Two buildings. Two levels. Tons of stuff. I go for the vinyl, but theres cds, cassettes, videos, clothes, accessories and novelties, players and about 30 other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. Staff and customers alike are cool. <3

My hometown Record Store that has all my Musical needs and wants. Friendly and Helpful staff willing to hunt down or look up any item that you may be looking for. So very grateful to have them in Ventura!

This is one of the most important places in town. A place where you can still come and talk about music with people who know music. The second floor is packed with unique gifts and housewares that you can't get anywhere else. Support these guys, it's your civic duty to keep local shops like this alive and well.

This place is damn impressive. A Lil bit of ery'thang for even the most outrageous and electric tastes, but you'll mostly find pop culture and sub-culture items of intrest. Make sure you come loaded after payday kind of place. Literally could spend hours there and walk out with nothing but ul at least have had a great time.

I've been going to this place for years. I am a very invested metalhead and they have a great selection of cds and vinyls. They have quite a few shirts. None that interested me and are basically shirts that would appeal more to the masses. Iron maiden, misfits for a couple examples. You won't find any obscure bands shirts here for the most part. It's easy to walk around the store for an hour as they have so much stuff and a huge variety of different things. The area upstairs has quite a bit of jewelry (I'm a guy so I didn't really check any of it out but there did seem to be a large selection). There is a smoke shop area upstairs as well with a wide variety of mostly anything you might need for your smoking needs. A little pricey if you ask me but they are good quality products so take that statement how you will. I do believe there is an area with sex toys and things of that nature (again I've never had the need for any of that stuff but if you are looking for stuff like that it is an option there. Very cool place that I highly recommend. There is something for everyone.

It's always a treat seeing what's new at Salzers! Amazing selection of vinyl records and everything else. The people working there are always very friendly and eager to assist where needed. I've been shopping for cool stuff here since the seventies and I ain't done yet! Ventura wouldn't be Ventura without Salzers! Don't forget to check out their video store across the street!

Perfect place for a gift for friends, or your lover. We can find everything from trinkets, keychains, music , to t-shirts and sweatshirts. They have gag gifts, incense, devices to help you smoke, and interesting books. I highly recommend if you need any last minute gifts to stop by this store. Even if you're not sure as to what you would like to purchase, you can easily get someone a gift card and they can enjoy the store themselves.

employees are really stuck up and rude at times but other than that it's literaly a one stop shop for all your entertainment needs! 1$ movies 3$ music CDs, and a million cool little items to make your life more interesting...if you're also having video store nostalgia they got you covered with a full 90's deco movie rental place right across the street...love this place!

This business is awesome. It feels like you stepping back in time when you come here in a great way. It's a locally run video, record, and gift shop with everything you expect from cult classic videos to used records. I love that this place still exists and is thriving. If you haven't been then get off your butt and check it out!
