This is such a cool store! CDs, quirky gifts, tshirts, pipes, vibrators, etc. A Ventura institution. You always find the most random stuff.

Salzers is a Ventura institution. So much love here. And so much inventory.Not just records- All kinds of stuff! VERY large space. You really got to see it for yourself.

Love treasure-hunting at Salzer's! I always find at least a couple new or old records to add to my collection every time I visit, and they always have something cool playing on their system. Pretty pretty cool.

Watch the sale items with mail in rebates, sometimes they're nearly impossible to mail by deadline leaving you stuck paying the full price.

My favorite place to go in Ventura; it's like a hippie/music nerd's paradise. Clothes, books, jewelry and puses are for sale with cool and/trendy gift items, bumperstickers, and a vast display of glass and other smoke shop "stuff"...and more. Salzer's has been around and relevant for 50 years or more. Check it out: right off the 101 and Victoria. You will be happy you did.

This store is awesome, music, clothes, movies, smoking accessories, posters, and so much more.

Been going here for years even when it was on Gonzalez Rd back in the day. This trip we were given a price for and item in the smoke shop then when we got to the register the price went from $32 to $63. Just another case of over pricing. Lost my business and a large amount of my friends colleagues and family as well. This isn't the first time it's happened.

I love Salzers. Best place for records, jewelry, t-shirts, patches, stickers and all things odd. Upper floor is boutique and head shop. We come here whenever we pass this way.

Expensive. Big vinyl selection, but expect to pay more here than you would at other places. Lots of new vinyl, decent supply of used. Fun place to explore, but don t think I ll revisit. Other stores in the area that are more affordable.

First time going in there in probably 10 years. I spend too much money in there but I missed it. I'll be sure to come back sooner.

Awesome vynil record store. Great selection of records and compact discs. It is just like shopping at a music store back in the 70's and 80's.

Still great place to shop for music. I buy all kinds of stuff on CD, and this store always has something I'm looking to buy. Odd location but the parking in back is free.

This used to be a cool store. They have nice expensive things way overpriced. The guy who greeted us at the door was very nice. The employees upstairs seemed annoyed to be asked a question. They weren't rude, just not into their job I guess.

This place has alot of items that are not available at other stores...there is no other stores anymore!
Love to shop the independent shops, Salzers has all my needs...

<3 Salzers since i was kid. Never ceases to amaze me with their unique selection from music . to local clothing. to the best body jewelry in town...and let's not forget their glass work.

Excellent local record shop, they also sell movies, memorabilia, shirts and other clothing, along with glass pipes, smoking apparatuses and adult toys.

Super helpful staff and wide selection. Definitely make the stop to check it out.

Great selection of everything! A mandatory stop for those in the know.

I love this place. A great selection of CD's and vinyl, new and used. The staff is consistently knowledgeable and willing to assist with their reference resources. Special orders are easy to place and I have never had to wait for them more than a week.

They have everything a music lover could ever hope for, glassware for the smokers, and gag gifts for last minute events. I love that they will order something for you (music usually) and have you pick it up at the store for a much cheaper rate than most. Most places charge shipping and handling even if you buy it and pick it up in store, not salzar's...they have a little bit of everything and it's truly a gem to this town. Their video store across the street is very nostalgic and is like a blockbuster that somehow made it through the slumps of the economy...highly recommend both.
