Comfort Inn Falls Church Review

Had to switch rooms 2nd night because of leak in ceiling in the bathroom. Continental breakfast was just okay

Worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying at. There was a group of foreigners (young kids) left to run the halls, slam doors, and yell all beginning at 2am. We called the front desk twice where we were berated and treated like liars by Ms. Courtney rather than having the situation dealt with. All in all we got little to no sleep because of this. Additionally, the rooms are subpar. We paid $125 a night for a $40 per night experience. I will never consider staying at this hotel or another from the same chain again. I can't stress enough that this was THE WORST hotel experience ever. Poor management with poor accommodations.

Not bad for the price, but there was a leak in my room in front of the air conditioning unit that was never addressed.

Comfortable room, reasonably clean (a few small carpet stains could be found). A little traffic noise during busier traffic times. Short distance to Chick-fil-A and very short walk to McDonald's and 7 Eleven.

Free breakfast included with stay (nice spread of typical breakfast foods and drinks, and waffle maker for guests that want to cook their own waffles). Free USA Today to read as well.

Indoor pool available but not used by me during my visit.

Staff was courteous and quick to welcome me. Signs in rooms in multiple areas tell you that if you need anything please ask staff.

Overall, glad to have visited and do so again if I had the opportunity.

Excellent service the receptionists are very friendly.

We couldn't get the temperature in the room to a comfortable level. The wifi didn't work. The plug next to the bed to charge my phone was broken. There were ants in the room. The people at the front desk just seemed to accept that as the way things are.

I saw a lot of bad reviews but everything was was fine we stayed one night it was clean and well prepared the furniture is a little old that was it! The staff was very nice!!

I can't say this is a bad place. The Comfort Inn is comfortable. It has a microwave, and small refrigerator. It accepted my cat, and she was happy here. I will say it is average. The shower has no overhead light, and the water takes a little long to get hot. I also saw a stain on the floor, in my room. Not a bad place, but not a great place.

Good hotel! Good service! A little noisy at night, made it hard to sleep, but otherwise good clean stay for the price.

Nice clean room double beds TV glitches too much close to Washington DC

Hit wrong star. Should be 0 star. Front was torn up had to go in kitchen door. Elevator was almost in reachable. Room was OK.

The luggage trolley is very small and there is no luggage service .. The elevator is small and very old and the rooms are good .. The breakfast is less than modest ... The price is reasonable but I will not repeat the experience

Respectable accommodations. Clean and comfortable bed with amenities very close to our room. Standard continental breakfast with waffles, fruit, pastries, and yogurt offered. Close to downtown shops and night life.

It was a clean and good enviornment with nice rooms and room service.

Room was decent. The breakfast was pretty typical. The hotel was a little bit outdated but met my standards. Convenient to shops and easy to get to the metro. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Not quite worth the money, but close. The Good & The Bad: Good: Clean. Nice staff. Very walkable to Target, CVS, Grocery Store, 4 Guys Burgers, gas station & ChickFilet with a 24 McDonalds next door. Comfortable Beds & a nice array of pillow, easy to get in and out & onto highway. Safe enough neighborhood. Lots of towels. Will likely stay again. Bad: Breakfast only till 9:30. Shuttle only runs till 9:45 am-and ends early in evening. A bit too far to walk to Metro Station. Updating was done kinda jinky. (Wallpaper put over obvious defects in walls, seams of carpet fraying badly). Elevator looks like an industrial nightmare. Door keys never seem to work. Be mindful to really shut the door tight.

Hotel is nice enough. I give it 5 stars for its location!!!!

The Front desk employee Beverley was amazing. First of all her friendly and professional service on the telephone was the main reason I stopped there. I love the large clean room and breakfast in the morning. Pool was accessible with lifeguard until 10 pm so that was a plus !. I would surely go there again and recommend this nice friendly/homely hotel to my friends and family.

One of the cleanest and best hotels I've stayed at in a while. Complimentary breakfast was great and they vary the menu each day. Front desk staff was very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone. There's a McDonald's right next to the parking lot and a Burger King 3 miles away. And the hotel is located about 8 miles from the White house.

We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel so I can't really give any real meaningful opinions other than the breakfast left a bit to be desired.

The front desk lady was a joy and relieved our fears when we saw the construction work being done at front entrance. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was great.

I toured the DC area with a party of 9 people from Indiana, the Amish . As the driver , I suggested the Choice Hotels in the area . We had a wonderful stay overnight after a long exhausting trip from the Midwest. The rooms were large and accommodations were very good. They were equally impressed with the fact that they could easily do laundry , so they could further travel down the coast to Virgina Beach later that afternoon. .

This is a great little hotel my company books hotel every month do to our contracts we have up in the area. Rooms are clean, quite and plenty of parking, also has parking for semi trucks but have to early to be able to get in for parking those.

The room was nice, nothing special but clean. We didn't have any wait getting keys to the room. The only real down side is this location had some poor breakfast unlike some other locations I have been too.

The young lady at the front desk was friendly and informative.

We found a mouse in our room and we were changed to another. The next day, we found another mouse!!!! We couldn't sleep at all!

The staff was great, however, no where was it listed that the hotel is under remodel. I was placed on the 3rd floor with an overwhelming chemical smell. I was in a bind and had to make the best of it. The room was nice, and clean. It would have been a much better review if not for the unknown remodel project.

Excellent staff - decent value for what you pay for. Firm, yet comfortable beds, good choices for breakfast. On the down side, room smelled musty to somewhat moldy but nothing so bothersome. We made use of the free shuttle to the East Falls Church Metro to tour DC and the driver was very accomodating to us - KUDOS for him. Overall, a very good experience, and we'd stay there again!

Very nice property, huge, comfortable accommodation. Convenient to Arlington National Cemetery, Pentagon and Lincoln Memorial. The mall is within a short DC drive. Lots of dining options close by.

Walked in and walked right back out. The good reviews HAVE to be paid for lies. The smell of mold/mildew is overwhelming. The air unit didn t even work. The lights at the bathroom don t work. There is huge, bubbling black mold coming into the ceiling and the doors barely shut & paint is ripped off without a care in the world. The smell was like a mix of dead dog left in the rain that had careless smoker owners. Waiting for Priceline to call me back to refund me or put me somewhere safe.

Our room was very clean . The amenities were fine. They have a shuttle van . The staff was more then helpful and courteous. I would stay here again.

Hotel has full hot breakfast, descent fitness center, and fast WiFi. Also there is plenty of parking for trucks and busses. The hotel is doing renovations

Our room key was tricky. The reader was bad. The room isn't well insulated, you could hear everything. Not too far from DC & restaurants, free parking.

I thought it was a good stay; that is until I found out they charged my card for Smoking in the room that never happened. Very rude receptionist and manager seems to not be able to help until the weekend is over because they are at lunch. this was Friday at 2pm I called. I am forced to dispute with card company. I would give 0 stars if it would let me.

Made a mistake with booking,was in town for a funeral,so a little bit discombobulated. No accommodating,no empathy. Luckily got another room but lost my money even though there was 2 weeks from booking.

Smallest elevator I have ever ridden in. Awkward floor plan...stairs are useful.

Stayed in a non-smoking room, distinctly smelled like years of smoke the entire time.

Nice bedrooms but te corridors need paint and repair te humidity they have.

It was ok for the price. But not exceptional. Could use a carpet scrub and deep cleaning.

Front desk was excited and happy to help. They are doing some remodeling up front but it really isn't much of a concern. Room was nice and tidy.

It is a good hotel and the staff is very polite and helpful. The place is located near many shopping centres so easy to buy things you need. The hotel also provides shuttle service to nearmost metro station in case you need.

Room says none smoking but reeks of smoke, beds hard as a rock, air unit loud, room dark as a cave with lights on, cobwebs in windows would leave if I could get a refund. Do not stay here
