Words cannot adequately describe the shopping experience. Purchased a beautiful pair of shoes, and a handsome wallet. Service is second to none. The store is gorgeous! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would have liked to spend more time in the store. Make it a point to visit. Bucket list. 11/10!
Best place to buy shoes as the size selection is so precise. You can never do this in any other shop of theirs. For the price you are paying you deserve the perfect fit. Look for Mateo, he is simply wondeful. He should give all Italians in sales a lecture on how to sell.
Store had a wide variety of selection and very friendly customer service staff to help us with our purchases.

Nice shop for all the brand product. Although I showed them their branded belt I bought from other country, they were totally ignorance and did not try to answer my inquiry or try to satisfy my concern.
The store is large, the staff is friendly and professional, and will shop again.
Very beautiful experience. Wanted my daughter to experience first class service on her first Ferragamo purse.
HEADQUARTERS OF Ferragamo, large new collections shop, friendly staff
I m particularly affectionate to this brand and I believe it s the quintessence of Italian luxury leather goods. We had a peculiar start at the main Florentine flagship store, as we have been somehow ignored for a while, we almost exited the store when the lady (a real Signora) at the door asked if we got any help already. Apparently she was the only one who noticed us or see us as potential customers. I did enjoy her help and ended up purchasing a pair of boots. But I m still a bit puzzled by the attitude of some others ladies in the store. I think, especially during such hard times, it s important to understand that a customer that feels mistreated, will most probably not by a recurring one. Bad for business, even for a luxury brand. It really saddens me, as once again, I truly enjoy their products.
Lovely Castelo base of the famous house in the central part of town with properly separated sections according to genre (shoes, men's, women's shoes). Serious and efficient service. We highly recommend !!!
original Ferragamo store. huge inside. so many different styles. Young Male staffer by the door was a jerk though. He was very rude to my son. otherwise really nice staff
The words are of little use to visit a great signature in a beautiful historic building in Florence, the brand speaks for itself with a lot of staff always ready to help you in all your choices.
Beautiful selection, and I love the Ferragamo brand and usually buy their products, but the sales women here were very rude. I asked to see a gray and fuscia handbag, and instead they brought me the black version. When I said I preferred the colored one, they said "yes, but that one is more expensive." Annoyed, I went to peruse the shoes and they followed me as if I were going to shoplift. I had entered the store specifically intending to buy a pair of shoes I had seen in the store in NYC, since its cheaper in Italy when you account for the VAT. But I left without buying anything because the employees were so rude and presumptuous.
E una boutique di lusso
Molti articoli belli
There are a lot of stores, lots of stuff, and friendly staff.
Absolutely loved the store and my experience there! This is the Ferragamo HQ and doubles up as a museum to showcase his work and origins as a shoemaker. The store has various "rooms" and the shopping experience is akin to walking through museum exhibition rooms and the exhibits are the shoes/bags/coats. The sales lady was friendly and attentive, and even chatted and provided advice about the pros and cons of getting a card case versus a small clutch. I got the card case which was a lovely glittery champagne colour. Even if you don't intend to buy anything, this museum/shop is worth a visit for the amazing experience (but it's likely you'll fall in love with something and end up buying it!)
In case no one knows there's an interesting museum below about S.F.
Not the most amazing selection given the size of the store, but staff helpful and if you want to buy, where better than the original shop.
Ferragamo Main Store. It is very large and the products are diverse. There are also sale items, so it is good to buy things.
I wish a closet with full Salvatore collections :))
Recommendation: Ask for Analisa, one of the store managers, if you d like to be treated without respect after making a substantial purchase. When requesting a price adjustment after purchasing some items the day before, she took the opportunity to loudly create a scene in front of many potential customers. Saying no is understandable and reasonable. However, respect should be standard.
If you say shoes, say Ferragamo! Palazzo stupendo for wonderful collections of shoes, bags, clothes for men and women. The museum is also fantastic
The first flagship store! The products vouch for themselves so I won t even say anything about them. The only thing to say is that I spent my hard-earned money and it was worth every penny.
From other reviews it seems the staff is a hit or miss i was lucky to have bumped into a very friendly group of staff who were patient and offered more options of shoe sizes than I thought existed! The filling out of forms for the tax refunds can be easily done in store and don t forget to check out the museum downstairs!
In the splendid building, with showcases that are works of art, there is the atelier of Salvatore Ferragamo. Entering the environment so beautiful has the appearance of a living room; There is a choice between many very beautiful and excellent quality products: men's clothes, accessories, shoes, etc. The staff is kind and very experienced in the field.
The store is very good, the best. How does the brand's homeland? In the museum you need to go. He is in the basement. The shop has many halls. Very good selection of clothes and accessories. But the most pleasant thing is to treat prosecco. So go take a look or buy and drink a glass.
I was very excited for the Ferragamo flagship (which includes a museum in the basement). This is the iconic brand of Florence along with Gucci, so why the salespeople look so bored and despondent is beyond me. After several loops around the showroom I left and walked up the street to Prada - much better service, and a sale, to boot.
