Ridiculously expensive. Wifi doesn't work more than half the time. Terrible support and service. Awful connection speeds. I've gotten better connection from a broken 9-iron sticking out of some mud.
I paid less in rural Alaska with faster internet speed than here in rural Montana. And the quality is so much poorer here than in Alaska. Cable too!
James and Austin put in our fiber optics internet from 3 rivers and boy were they great. All my thanks to them for doing such a professional job.
Good phone and decent internet. Seems to refresh itself a lot so Hulu/Netflix/YouTube will pause or reset on your phone but not on smart TV or computer. They are also a Co-op which is great.

Great wifi/internet services in rural areas! Wouldn't recommend for phone services due to roaming charges. (To call someone 12 miles away is considered roaming)
This is horrible service!!!! My phone and internet were just disconnected without warning. My internet tv will not work now. I let the service men park on my property for an extended amount of time to install new copper wire as they dug trenches across my driveway. I was unable to stay connected with the technical support team as I stood out side in cold weather. Very dissatisfied.

Internet is decent. 30 down/10 up. But for $120 a month that's absurd. I used to have the 10down/10up service and that was meh (cost about $90 or something per month). The worst thing about it though is the Wi-Fi. I don't know if it's a 3 Rivers thing but the Wi-Fi is atrocious. Even with an upgraded router at my home I could hardly connect to anything on my wireless devices.
The other worst thing like I have mentioned before is the cost of the internet. They're a bunch of blood suckers with the way they charge their customers, unless you work at 3 rivers, or know someone who works there. Apparently you can just ask to get higher speeds to your home, and they'll crank the dial up without a limit it seems, all while only paying like $10 bucks a month. That's if you know someone that works there or you work there yourself.
Another point to add is that when they update their services or contracts or whatever, they don't even tell you about it. I only found this out because I wanted to downgrade my service but they gave me a better option with faster speeds. I told my family to update their services to get cheaper internet. Otherwise they would've still been left in the dark.
Over all, if a company came to rural Montana and offered faster and affordable internet to everyone here, I would hope that they would put 3 Rivers to shame because 3 Rivers just sucks. I ended up terminating my service with 3 Rivers.
I had a great experience with 3 rivers. Reinhold was on the ball and got me taken care of quickly. Highly recommend!
They are nice on the phone, but poor internet speeds and consistency. Also, really expensive for the speed.
