I worked at the South Salem office for a year, was furloughed due to Covid and then quit in May because they told me to come back without a valid contract. Before my furlough, a colleague was exposed to Covid and my bosses didn t inform all of us and were sketchy and secretive about the whole thing. After I quit my bosses tried to challenge my unemployment claim but I won because they didn t provide a safe working environment.

Also, Dr. Frink tells his staff to not go above and beyond for Medicaid patients because his sole focus is money. I would advise Medicaid patients to seek care elsewhere.

Very good audiology professionals.
I was very pleased with the service I received here. The technician repaired my phonak hearing aid and did a great job at a reasonable price. The office staff is friendly and courteous. Although I did not meet the audiologist I was very impressed with this office and would recommend it. I would definitely return in the future. Located just off Lancaster near Wolverine.

I'm so glad I found Salem Audiology! This is the first time I ve had an audiologist really explain how everything works. I ve been working with Tori for the past few months and she has gone above and beyond to make sure that not only my needs are met, but that I am satisfied with everything. I have never felt rushed, like I do in most doctor s offices - they spend a lot of time with me there. To top it off, I ve got super fun colorful hearing aids now and I love showing them off as an accessory. I literally wear my hair back to show off my hearing aids (I spent most of my life trying to hide my hearing loss, but am trying to change the mindset of coping to thriving instead). I ve even got fun earrings i ve attached to them too! I am very confident in leaving a positive review for these folks! Thank you Salem Audiology for being so wonderful! <3

I have worked with Salem Audiology for 10 years and from the very beginning, when I didn't know anything about my sudden hearing loss. Their service has always been top notch! Everyone in their office, from reception, technicians and billing, to the doctors, and students assistants, they are all so kind, and have always shared all the details of what I have needed to know, They helped me understand what is and isn't covered by insurance, warranties on products, what brands of products will best fit my needs, as well as trial periods for the options of aides that may work for me! They also helped guide me to where I could go to apply for and get assistance in paying for my aides. Finally, all the follow ups I have been able to come in for adjustments and replacement aides has all been so streamlined and so extremely helpful!! THEY ARE THE BEST!! Thank you!!

Salelm .Audiology has served my hearing needs for over 30 years. I rate them among the best, I recommend them to my friends, and I will continue to use them for my own hearing needs. Hearing aids are expensive, but at Salem Audiology, the maintainence is free. and freely
given. I never hesitate to go into their shop and have my aids serviced
and my questions answered. Thank you, one and all. Pat DeLapp

If you have a problem understanding conversation it may be due to hearing loss. That happened to me. I'm glad Salem Audiology was able to improve my hearing loss with hearing aids. I am thankful for the care they have given me. As my hearing loss has continued to decline over the years, they look for ways to help me with accessories and new technology. They also provide excellent maintenance and long term care of the hearing aids.

An all-around great experience! Mom was fitted with new and updated hearing aides that made a huge difference in her ability to hear and enjoy her life. We are thankful to Scot and his staff for their skill and friendliness. They are incredibly accommodating in all areas; but, most importantly, very professionally skilled in diagnosing, recommending and fitting new hearing aides.

As a Clinical Psycholologist working primarily with older people and, being hearing impaired myself, I have found Dr. Scot Frink invaluable both professionally and personally. I myself have good quality hearing aids, but like so many older people, have found them frustrating and unsatisfying. I was losing confidence in myself, thinking that I could no longer hear well enough to work and fearing that the problem was not just my hearing but my mind, as well. Perhaps I was developing some form of dementia. Dr. Frink and I discussed how many older people harbor this fear. The good doctor is much more than the usual audiologist. His father was nationally known in the the field and passed his knowledge on to his son, making him an educator, as well as a skilled clinician. Dr. Frink tested my hearing, explained to me how hearing and hearing aids work, unlocked the settings on my hearing aids, reset and synchronized them to correct for my personal hearing deficits. HE GAVE ME MY HEARING BACK. Now he is going to link my hearing aids with my IPhone so that I can control and adjust them from my phone. Apparently there is further that we can go from there. I am thrilled to have found Dr. Frink and recommend him without reservation to anyone working with hearing loss. I was prepared to pay big bucks for his excellent help and was astonished to find that my more than 90 minute session cost less than than a good haircut. Run, don't walk, as they say. . .

In 2012 I inherited some state of the Art hearing aids and brought them to Salem Audiology to have them fitted and adjusted for me. They only charged me around $700. Never the less they have supported and helped me ever since with NO additional charges. Besides being available and helpful they are incredibly honest. At least three times I have been in to see one of the owners, Scot Frink, to get adjustments or to ask him about "better" alternatives. Each time he could have said " Yes, your hearing aids are getting out of date" or " There is new technology on the market that you should buy." The last time I was there because a close friend had gotten new hearing aids and told me they were brand new technology that I needed. Scot carries that brand and told me that although they had some newer features, for my hearing situation it did not merit me spending several thousand dollars. Here is a person concerned about his patients and his integrity. I highly recommend Salem Audiology.

Dr. Frink accommodated our short stay in Salem (we are full-timers) and helped set up an appointment before we arrived in Salem and was available on the weekend and evenings as needed during our short stay. I was tested and fitted for hearing aids by Tori Blomquist and Bryan Greenaway and was able to try the BTE ReSound and Phonak trial hearing aids along with the iphone apps for several days. I was impressed by their depth of knowledge of both brands of devices and their ease in adjusting the programming to fit my needs. Importantly, they also performed real ear measurements to verify the sounds were being accurately reproduced. The office staff worked with my insurance and accurately estimated my total out of pocket cost, with no surprises! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and I watched them help one client with getting a cup of tea, as if they were helping a parent so it had a warm family environment in the waiting room. This was a well-run office with longtime staff and I would highly recommend Salem Audiology Clinic if you are considering buying hearings aids.

They recommended I watch the Dr. Cliff youtube videos, which were excellent to help decide between the ReSound LiNX Quattro and Phonak Audeo M90, both bluetooth units. The Resound had a better app and would let you adjust highs, mid and low ranges and locate your aid if lost but I could only change programs on the hearing aid, a problem if you must quickly lower volume. The Phonak had better sound quality and it had a volume control on the aids and allowed you to change programs, though the app had less options. The bluetooth units allowed me to stream music, books on tape, answer phone calls, receive driving instructions and speak with Siri through the hearing aid microphone and speakers without needing the iphone in my hand. I chose the Phonak M90 due to the ability to lower volume on the earpiece w/o using the app and quality of the streaming BT. And the rechargeable unit gave me over 16 hrs use (including streaming audio). The myPhonak app allows me to call Tori or Bryan during our travels and they can remotely change settings. I was provided all documentation I needed as well as test results and settings in case i ever need retesting or adjustments as I travel. I also was never pressured to choose either so I was totally in charge of deciding what characteristics were most important to me. It was obvious that they were most interested that I get the right hearing aid, spent hours with me in the office and I never felt rushed to make a decision.

I love Salem Audiology Clinic! I have been to three others and this one can't be beat for better service, friendliness, and technology. I am amazed that I can walk in and have my aids checked out on the spot. They also have battery sales twice a year that can't be beat. As long as I need hearing aids I will stay with Salem Audiology Clinic, Macel Posey

Initially participated in a study through the clinic to test new hearing aids. Scot was excellent in getting everything fitting and tuned up. I made a poor choice and bought hearing aids from another vendor and regretted it. I realized in comparison how great the service was that Scot provides. Later, I sheepishly returned to Salem Audiology to see if he could tune up my hearing aids better than the other vendor. He was professional, didn't hold a grudge, and went out of his was to provide excellent service. Wished I had bought my hearing aids from them in the first place.

This Audiology Clinic is hands down the best I was first seen in the early 90' and except for one other clinic I went one time. I have been continuing to come to this clinic for my hearing needs. They always take time with their patients and treat them as if they're friends or even family. Besides one other clinic, depending on the person's needs, I have and will always recommend them to people I know that needs help with there hearing

I highly recommend Salem Audiology! I have taken family members here for their hearing needs since 2012. What I like most is the quality products that they offer as well as their customer service. My family travels 3 hours to come just for the service and quality products. Scott has been so amazing to work with, he is always looking out for the customer! If you have any doubt , don't. This family owned business looks out for the patient! Highly recommend!

My husband went to Salem Audiology Clinic to try new technology, and the staff was fantastic and very helpful. He tried the new hearing aid in earnest for four months, even two different types, but they didn't meet his expectations. Despite this, Salem Audiology Clinic was wonderful to deal with, even when it came to returning the hearing aids when they didn't work out. This can actually mean as much as it would have if they had, since the demeanor of the business can come out when a return takes place. There was NO hassle at all, which leaves the door open for the future should he want to try again.

I went into Salem Audiology Clinic to get impressions done for custom IEMs (in ear monitors) from 64 Audio. I went in the first time and the lady seemed very unpleased for no reason. Got the impression done and was just thrown off by the experience, but ignored it and sent pictures of the impressions to 64 Audio so they can make sure the impressions are well made and fitting to make custom IEMs. 64 sent an email back saying the impressions were not fitting and were missing material and they very clearly were. So I called asking to do a second try. And they agreed to this. So I came in a couple days later to get my impressions done again, but this time by someone else. This lady was apologetic and seemed nice. Better experience this time, but again 64 said they were not well done. And again after looking at them I saw the flaws 64 was talking about. So I asked for a refund. They said no and made a big deal about the whole thing. I had to contact the owner and he said he would do the impressions himself. So I went in for a third time. And yet again the impressions were not done well. So I contacted the owner letting him know 64 would not accept the impressions and asked for a refund. He declined giving a refund and proceeded to talk about how he s been doing this for a long time and how 64 is just being to picky . Scott the owner proceed to say I should contact 64 and have 64 call him. I called 64 and they were very respectful and expressed that they are very sorry that I ve been having to be the middle man in this whole thing. They suggested that he gave them a call because they are very busy and can t afford to slow down production. So I call Scott, the owner of Salem Audiology Clinic, and tell him what they said and he acts very immature and reluctantly write ls down 64 s number. Needless to sat I will be going somewhere else with my business. Also I have not received a refund and I have spent 1.5 hours driving there just to experience poor service and a lack of care for their customer.

Amazing service for my 91 year old aunt over 7 years. Great follow-up on cleaning, maintenance. NOT interested in selling new hearing aids until needed. Great integrity. If you've had a bad hearing aid experience it may be because they weren't fine tuned over several follow-up visits. Tori is terrific.

I cant say enough about this clinic and the wonderful staff.
My first experience 6 years ago, I went to a different audiologist clinic in Salem Or. and the treatment there was less than adequate. The staff was "rushy", rude, and reluctant to spend time with me in adjusting my new hearing aids. I was somewhat bewildered and disappointed although grateful I could hear again, I had no idea what a difference a caring, professional team of audiologists could make.
From the beginning of extensive testing all the way through my adjustments, both Carol and Scott have gone the extra mile in giving me exceptional care. I highly recommend Salem Audiology.

The Woodburn office was absolutely beyond words wonderful. From the friendliness of Ali up front, to Brian the audiologist these guys deserve 10 stars. I got in really quick. After my hearing test Brian sat down and explained my results to me. He made everything easy to understand. At a follow up appointment he gave me a loaner set of hearing aides to try out. I actually tried 2 over the next few weeks. I was allowed to use these until my hearing aides came in. I went on vacation and got stuck out of town for 5wks due to the wildfires. It was alot longer than anyone anticipated. Brian, said not to worry and helped me through a few issues I had. He was patient, courteous, and overall a very nice person to work with. I highly recommend the Woodburn office and the Salem office too, (Brian works both). Thanks Brian and Ali
P.S. I love my new hearing aides.

I received my hearing aids from Salem Audiology. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Carol, the audiologist I dealt with at Salem Audiology was professional and knowledgeable about the type of hearing aids I was receiving. She insured the proper fit and programming of my hearing aids to fit my needs. Carol showed me how to clean and maintain my hearings aids for peak performance. She also insured other wireless devices I received were connected and working correctly.
Thank you Salem Audiology.

I am an audiologist in Tucson, AZ and I cannot say enough good things about this practice and its owner, Scot Frink. Scot's practice is an excellent example of what audiology best practices look like. He devotes time to his own patients and staff, but also takes time to mentor other audiologists around the country, because it is his passion. In this industry, it is helpful for providers, like myself to have trusted individuals and practices, where we can refer our patients when needed.

I love Salem Audiology. I've been hearing-impaired...

I love Salem Audiology. I've been hearing-impaired all my life, and as an adult, this business feels like a part of my community. I have bought two sets of hearing aids from them, and those hearing aids have been tweaked by many different audiologists. I've also had my children's hearing tested there multiple times.

They are such a successful business that, since my first pair of hearing aids, they have expanded to two more locations. Although I haven't gone to all their locations, I'm told that several of the audiologists I've worked with now work at those new locations.

They love my kids. No one has ever gotten frustrated with them. Appointments are as long as they need to be; I don't ever feel rushed. We can stay to dry out our coats or to enjoy the air conditioning awhile longer, depending on the season. Candy and toys for the kids, but they'll keep the candy out of reach after too many helpings without me having to ask.

Great technicians to repair hearing aids; audiologists are the friendliest medical professionals... I could go on and on. Good people. Good secretaries. Great business that is locally owned.

Dr. Frink is a true gem! He was incredibly helpful to me while I was researching options to get my mother's hearing aid repaired during the Shelter-In-Place. My mother and I live in different states, and he recommended an excellent Audiologist in Arizona who will take care of her. Her previous doctor was trying to sell her a new hearing aid every three years with all the latest apps which she doesn't even use. Dr. Frink talked to me about the life of hearing aids, the cost of repairing them, and when it may be time to replace them. The information was so helpful (both mentally and financially!) and I am so grateful for his kindness and generosity with his time, talking to me over the phone for about half an hour, when I know he is a busy man. He really does care about helping people, and making sure they get what is right for them! Thank you!

This is my third set of ears from Salem Audiology, ample evidence I'm very happy with their service and attention. I have always found them genuinely interested in their patients' well-being. And they are HELPFUL! If there's a problem they address it promptly and effectively. If there are accessories that will expand your hearing aids they will explain how they work and make sure you know how to work them. And they are always there and ready to help, no matter what the issue may be. They are the best!

I have probably been going to Salem Audiology for 30 years, at least that long.I have never had anything but the best care. Today I took my 88 year old Mother for her first hearing aide screen. I was told her screening would free of charge. Scott Frink spent a long time assisting my Mother into the sound proof booth and then more time discussing her needs and the type of hearing aide she would be getting. My Mother chose to order her new hearing aide and I am glad of this. There may come a day where all she has left is communication, hearing and speaking. I want her to familiarize herself with her new aide so that I don't ever have to stand over her bedside and yell "are they treating you right here"? If that day was to come, and it may not, we will be able to whisper "I love you" and say what we need to.I have been profoundly deaf for most of my life, without an aide I am DEAF. Scott has always provided me with the latest technology and I hear very well.Don't be afraid to try a hearing aide they are nothing like what our Grandparents wore.I am a Grandparent who likes to hear her Grandchildren.

Audiologist Scot Frink went over the top to find out what I needed and the kind of environment I most often find myself. He didn't want to give me more than I needed for sake of a sale. It was his professionalism and concerned approach that kept me from saying "I'll think it over and get back" and now I hear high tones that I haven't for decades. Thank you Scot! If you've ever thought about hearing aids, talk to this man!

My review of my Widex Evoke 440 working with the Evoke App on an iPhone 8 Plus and with the iWatch 4.
I have used the Widex since June 2018 as a replacement for some excellent but aging (7 years) Phonak hearing aids. My provider has been Salem Audiology Clinic in Salem Oregon. Simply excellent support and service. I spent about $500 more than new Phonak appliances because the Widex has created a very user friendly App (through the Apple Products) that allow my personal input to revise the sound parameters and create individual sound environment locations to fit my personal hearing in those environments. While I did like the Phonak Aids, There was not an opportunity to customize to the degree that is possible with the Widex. I suspect it is the future for all Aid producers but this is such an excellent start. See the Widex Videos to understand the technology and the ease of app use. I have about 8 OTHER named sound environments I use in addition to those initially provided. I revise them as needed. The Phone is the most sophisticated part of the app. The watch is more to control what you created on the phone. I cannot emphasize how happy I am to be able to revise and "tweak" the settings at any time to better fit my hearing needs. This tool really works with minimal learning to have it be an optimal experience. Thank You Widex and Thank you Salem Audiology Clinic. Life IS better. Humbly submitted, Corky Lambert.

I learned something yesterday. I learned that hear...

I learned something yesterday. I learned that hearing loss isn't an issue for just the elderly population but in fact there are more affected among the middle aged population, like myself. This was one of the many things I learned from one of Salem Audiology's free classes. I first met my audiologist Scot Fink in 2016 when I was diagnosed with mild hearing loss. At that time we decided that I didn't "need" hearing aids. When I was ready (and my loss was more) he was very thorough in my options and spent his time learning about my needs so he could suggest and then set up hearing aids to fit my lifestyle. The most refreshing part was that he didn't want to sell me what I didn't need. I could not recommend Salem Audiology Clinic and Scot more.
