As a Clinical Psycholologist working primarily wit...

As a Clinical Psycholologist working primarily with older people and, being hearing impaired myself, I have found Dr. Scot Frink invaluable both professionally and personally. I myself have good quality hearing aids, but like so many older people, have found them frustrating and unsatisfying. I was losing confidence in myself, thinking that I could no longer hear well enough to work and fearing that the problem was not just my hearing but my mind, as well. Perhaps I was developing some form of dementia. Dr. Frink and I discussed how many older people harbor this fear. The good doctor is much more than the usual audiologist. His father was nationally known in the the field and passed his knowledge on to his son, making him an educator, as well as a skilled clinician. Dr. Frink tested my hearing, explained to me how hearing and hearing aids work, unlocked the settings on my hearing aids, reset and synchronized them to correct for my personal hearing deficits. HE GAVE ME MY HEARING BACK. Now he is going to link my hearing aids with my IPhone so that I can control and adjust them from my phone. Apparently there is further that we can go from there. I am thrilled to have found Dr. Frink and recommend him without reservation to anyone working with hearing loss. I was prepared to pay big bucks for his excellent help and was astonished to find that my more than 90 minute session cost less than than a good haircut. Run, don't walk, as they say. . .
