I placed an order for a dress I'm going to say Monday the dress was supposed to come July 9th by 12:00 because I paid for express shipping because it was my daughter's birthday not only did the dress not come the dress was not even processed due to the fact that they said something was wrong with their processing not only was I not notified about the change to my order also my order was canceled and they have still yet to return my money on July this was my first and last time ever trying to shop or spend money with Saks fifth avenue the worst experience I ever had I received more common courtesy from a street vendor

The Christmas windows give a dream to young and old. A tradition that never disappoints, this year then even more magical the celebration of the eighty years of snow white with pictures of extraordinary beauty.

Other outposts of Saks always disappoint. The original never does.

Went here for the shoes and although they have a good collection I found that Barney s and Bergdorf have the best selection of you are short on time.

We had a baby during the Covid crisis on April 8. Due to social distancing we were not able to receive our gift for several weeks later for obvious reasons from a family member. The items we received we had also been given as gifts from other people so when we contacted Sacks by phone today asking to return the items (which are two days outside of the return window) the associate was not only unpleasant but also unwilling to assist us with a return due to policy. This is not what I expect from Sacks or even a lesser quality retailer during this time. I m hoping you are wise enough to correct the poor judgment of your customer service rep.

Had the opportunity to shop on the second floor fragrance area. Was helped by Jaron, the most amazing @KilianParis Rep. He went above and beyond and truly exemplifies putting the customer first. Once he got a sense for what I was looking for, he took me around the store to see other options.

I tried to return one shirt that had the original tags still on it and had brought the credit card the shirt was purchased on. The young woman who assisted me refused to return the shirt and refund the card. She explained that it was store policy. If that's the case so be it however her attitude was extremely nasty. All I can think of is she must have been having a lousy day but to take it out on a customer?? My friends shop there frequently however I have instructed them never to shop there again.

Flag ship store of this luxory chain, is newly renovated and open for business. The store is well stocked and the staff is knowledgeable . Should you need a break from shopping there is a fine dining room on the top floor.

Employees here really helped me! They directed me to the right fragrances, even if they were from different companies. Usually busy, but that indicates great customer service!

Classic New York place to shop. Extreme prices but it s more about seeing it than dropping $$&. Holiday windows are epic.

Saks Fifth Avenue, the finest place to use the bathroom in Midtown. Don't be intimidated by the sparkly floors and well-dressed gentlemen willing to show you $700 designer loafers with colorful interactive displays to match. Drop by in here, drop a deuce, wash your hands with the plentiful soap and water, and use the nice high flow faucets to refill your bottles with some clean tasting NYC Catskills reservoir water. The bathrooms are that clean, believe it.

Man, this place sucks. If I'm throwing down hella money on fancy ish, I'd expect a less gloomy and more updated ambiance. The department store isn't quite bright and airy and the service a bit dated also. The young and hip stuff is alll the way on to the top with good variety and there were younger people working there that were pretty chill.

Saks as a whole needs to come up with the times. I can rarely ever find free shipping promos online, their sales aren't that great, AND, what truly gets me is that there is a limited return period. I can return items in original condition whenever the heck I want (be it a year later or not) but nt in Saks.

Saks Fifth Avenue has a great makeup section. It is on the first floor and has every makeup brand you could ever imagine.There is always someone to help you. This is a very busy department store as it is in the middle of tourist central. During the holidays there is a really nice light show that is projeted on to the building wall. Don't miss it! It is even choreographed to music!

I needed a dress and they actually went to get me the shoes to match. They will alter, fix and steam the clothes. Perfection. They also have great events with designers.
Old store but it smells so good to walk on the first floor passing the perfumes and make up.
Check out all the floors. Even if you can't afford it, get a consult on skin care-- you just may change your mind!

One of the leading department stores in the United States. There is only the main store and it is very luxurious! And there are many types of shoes, and there are plenty of sizes. It is also a savior for those who are worried about the wide shell.

Selection is ridiculous! Walked in on some amazing sales for 4h of July. This is a museum of contemporary decorative art that you can buy and wear the same day. Never seen anything like this. Penny on the second floor of women's designer clothing was a great personal shopper.

So we're in the city for a few days, thought maybe a stop to Saks on Fifth Ave would be nice since it's the flagship store to make some purchases.. I'm very disappointed on this particular visit because we had the worst customer service experience in my 10+ years as a Saks customer. I wanted to purchase a pair of sunglasses, and because that was the last pair and it had a scratch on it, we were to order at the store and have it ship to me. The salesman asked Monique to help him with the transaction as he's the only one to man his section. Monique swiped our Saks card multiple times through merchant service machine and the computer would not read the card #s, we had told her time and time again that it's a Saks store card, perhaps she needs to run a client search before swiping the card, her exact words to us were "this is taking too long!" and mentioned we need to call her to purchase it over the phone later because she has other customers to get to at the moment. Well frankly she also wasted our time, for a salesperson to tell a paying customer that their business is unwelcomed and other customers take priority, it is beyond rude and bad customer service! So unless you want to have your shopping moment ruined, take your business elsewhere or better yet.. go a few blocks up the road to Bergdorf Goodman because if you go into Saks, Monique will tell you that she doesn't value your business.

Not much to say here, amazing store with styles for everyone and any help I needed from staff was welcomed with open arms even though I came in very close to close. The only obvious downside is its price, premium products for a premium price, don't expect a bargain, but do expect extreme quality from products.

Please stop blasting that incessant beat on to 5th avenue.

Whenever I go to NYC (I'm from Philly) I make it a point to visit SFA. The renovations were a wonderful surprise--that escalator smack in the middle of the first floor is gorgeous. Although I can't afford the handbags at least they were easy to view. As I was checking out the coats I caught the aroma of food. I didn't know Saks opened a replacement restaurant, so glad as I was hungry. The salmon with ginger was cooked to perfection; not dry, not too moist. The accompanying salad was delicious. The bread and butter (extra tasty)was enjoyable as it was in the former restaurant. Afterwards I just had to take a small pink iced cake (raspberry and chocolate) home. Worth $25--got 4 servings out of it. I did alright for pants, too. Very helpful--and easy to find--staff.

is there a higher review over excellent. the people who work here are fierce. they know how to sell and sell things that compliment you as an idividual. overall the service is GODLY!!!! if you havent shopped here than you need to go today.
