Absolutely love Sakana! The chefs and owners are amazing. The price may seem expensive when compared to all you can eat sushi places, however, the fish is very very high quality and prices are competitive with quality sushi restaurants.

They have food other than sushi, which is great for those picky eaters we all know. Their Sakana steak is to die for. There are numerous rolls that I LOVE and can never pick my favorite. Their tempura vegetables are always delicious and the Monkey Brain appetizer is a family favorite. We always love going for happy hour, or for lunch! The bento boxes for lunch are great!

It amazes me how manu sushi joints there are, and that most of them provide a mediocre flavor of a product that is desired so heavily. The sushi here was not bad, but it also was not good enough for me to think of returning. The service was good here.

We have been eating here 2-3 times a month since they opened 10 years ago. Everything is great! Our favorite roll is the Pink Flamingo. The teriyaki is great, the sushi is great, the staff are great, even the rest rooms are great! Our family favorite and at the top of our list!

Really tasty sushi! Some really unique rolls, too. Price is a bit high, and they take a very long time to give you your food, but if you're wanting a nice relaxing sit down with friends, its a great place to hang and enjoy sushi. :)

Sakana is one of the best sushi restaurants in the valley. It's not just the fresh fish and excellent menu that make it so attractive. The customer service is top notch and the owners create a feeling that the customers are like family.

Delicious food! I am not a fan of raw fish but there are plenty of options. I ordered a fried roll and asked them to really cook the salmon. No problem. It was perfect. Miso soup and side salad also tasted great. Booths are a bit small so a full booth will have you stepping on toes. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Sakana exceeded my expectations. Our server was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was excellent. I really like that they don't drown the tempura in batter as most places tend to do. The sushi was created masterfully from the beautiful presentation to the amazing flavor. The price was well worth it.

Delicious, clean, and consistently friendly. Friends and I have eaten here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The prices are fairly normal for the type of restaurant. Not the best sushi or service ever, but far from the worst and worth going to to try it if you ve never had it before. Good place to go before or after a movie, shopping or if you just want to dine out and are in the area.
They do have a TV or two with major sporting events on from network TV. Try the appetizers and special rolls - they ve been some of my favorite.

Came here an hour before closing and we got in quickly and had a nice corner booth. We ordered a Vegas, 2 California rolls and a Wasatch. The California is a solid roll here. Their Vegas is really nicely batter and fried in tempura. It came out nice and hot. I love their spicy mayo to dip the rolls in and this is a great place.

The booths were made for kids I've never seen such tight booths definitely get a table. Some rolls are so delicious and there are weird salty and flavorless. Good ones are the New York playboy and Jordan rolls. They are a bit overpriced for the quality but overall a decent place.

As far as I'm concerned this is the best sushi restaurant on the planet. Their fish is always so fresh and delicious. I've been to about 50 sushi places and sakana is on its own level all together. I'm sure there's other places that are super fancy and way more expensive but I personally have not found even one. If my favorite 2nd place restaurant (yama sushi in Vegas) earned an A grade, sakana gets an S++. That's the level it is on for me personally.

The 7.99 lunch rolls are wicked cheap, and I'm a rainbow roll fanatic. If a restaurant sells a rainbow roll, I buy it to try it. Sakana makes such an amazing rainbow I have been back here at least 30 times. Probably more.

I decided to come here because of the reviews, had calamari tempura and did not taste like calamari at all, decided to try vegas rolls and just like the calamari that was a huge disappointment as well, definitely not coming back.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. I am writing this review after just finishing another amazing meal from here. We have tried many other sushi places in the area but non compare to Sakana. Their flavored saki is amazing and every sushi we have tried here is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and had multiple time gone above and beyond when it comes to service. I would go here above any other sushi place in the area. If you have not tried this place you must. They are also very accommodating to children which is very rare for a sushi place. I would give this place more than five stars if I could.

I went to Sakana Sushi for the very first time with some friends recently. I was happy with the quality of the sushi and with the price. I think the service couldn't have been better. The only thing bad I have to say about it is that the tables and chairs are a little too close together for my liking.

Fantastic place to get sushi and other entrees. Been here a few times since moving to South Jordan and have always left stuffed and impressed. The sushi is super fresh with no overly fishy taste (as sushi should be), and the employees are prompt and friendly.

I highly recommend the Lucky Roll (chicken in a sushi roll whaaaaat), and the Yakisoba noodle entree, even if you don't like stir-fried vegetables/meat/noodles. They're amazing.

Mondays and Tuesdays are a must, they do happy hour all night long, 3 rolls for the price of two. Quality is the same as any other day. Attending this gem hidden at Jordan Landing is a must if your in the area. There's usually a line, but that is usually what happens when you have one of the best sushi place in town.

This place is amazing and I hate sushi but the owner talked me into trying a Vegas roll and I now can't get enough I eat here atleast once a week and have brought atleast 20 other people here to eat. Ps I still dislike sushi but the Vegas roll is amazing so I make an exception for this
