Overview of this space: The Sustainable AGriculture and Energy (SAGE) center explores how your food gets from farm to table. This place offers hands-on education through teir unique exhibits. You can even soar over Morrow County in a simulated hot air baloon ride and explore some of the best farm land in the country.

A great place with fantasticly friendly staff. Highlights include the gift store featuring quality art produced from local artists and monthly discount movies for kids as well as monthly art projects for kids. The only drawback to mention is that the exhibits don't ever change so while you can totally be fully fulfilled by the events once you have seen the main exhibits there is no reason to see them again.

(SAGE stands for Sustainable AGriculture and Energy) Very interesting and informative displays and kiosks about Morrow County's various industries and how they strive for sustainability. Lots of interactive items that kids will enjoy, while learning too. The center is clearly funded by these local corporations but there's no obvious bias; we thought it was all pretty interesting!

An interactive way to experience the history, land, and economy of the region. Beautifully designed presentation of the area, boasting a comfortable auditorium and thoughtfully stocked gift shop. Great destination for visiting guests, a family outing, a class, or special event. Love the upstairs event space too!

This is a wonderful stop for the whole family to learn more about the region. The scavenger hunt gets everyone interacting with the exhibits and the playground is great for getting the wiggles out before getting back in your vehicle.

This is a hidden gem that's just a quick turn off the freeway. Lots of informational displays inside to show aspects of the agriculture in the region. My favorite was the "hot air balloon ride" inside (sort of like an IMAX theater experience).

Visited the centre while staying at the Boardman Marina RV Park nearby. Very friendly staff, fun to learn more about the food and energy industries in that part of WA state. The exhibits were great and make sure you tried the Hot Air Balloon ride! Thanks to the staff for the ice-cream treat!!

Awesome representation of the importance of agriculture for the region. Very impressive, and fun for both kids and adults. We came in 20 minutes before closing and rushed through to do as much interactive activities as possible. Entrance fee for adults is very reasonable. More counties in Oregon should represent our agriculture to the public like this!

We stopped here during our road trip. It was fantastic! We had a picnic lunch with us so we sat upstairs to eat, washed hands, and then set to checking out all the displays. Our 2 year old really enjoyed all the little activities. Had the weather been nicer we would have played outside on the playground too. What a marvelous stop on I84 if you are on a long drive with kids!

Loved the Christmas lites that went with the radio station. Had never seen anything like it before. My husband took me. We absolutely loved the lites that were on the trees, it looked like rain drops coming from the trees. We've been looking for them ever since but cant find them. Where did you get them??

Really informative and creative place. If you are passing through Boardman on I-84 and have an hour or two to spare, stop by and get a "Bozo Burger" at the drive in up the road and then go to Sage and drive a virtual tractor to plant corn crop in the Sage Center.

Really very neat place.
