We used Red Sage as our wedding caterer and it was fantastic! Scott and his team were so professional and the food was outstanding. We still receive compliments on how great everything turned out. Very affordably priced and great experience. Thanks again guys!

I was not sure what to expect for the catered dinner party, but Alex exceeded our expectations in every way. The food and professional presentation was a real hit with me and my guests. I would not hesitate to use Red Sage Catering in the future!
Excellent sustainably sourced food and great service. Red Sage was willing to work with the unique environmentally friendly and zero-waste requirements of an event I was involved with. Ingredients for our food service were, in part, sourced from the owner and chef's local farm, and they were willing to provide recycling and composting for all plateware and food scraps. Very happy with the food and overall experience.
We chose Red Sage Catering for our wedding and were left very disappointed. We were not expecting any issues as Scott was very pleasant to work with, accommodating, and seemed to be on top of everything. He helped us create a "family style" menu of salad, pot roast, green beans and mashed potatoes. The day of the wedding, we were told that all the greens were rotten so our salads were basically tomatoes, mushrooms and carrots - no greens. It is beyond me why they could not go out and buy more greens that morning upon this discovery. On top of that, we received comments from guests (after the wedding) that the food arrived to the table cold and I had noticed that almost an hour after the first tables had been served, there were still several tables that had not yet received their food!
We called Scott a few weeks after the wedding and he apologized for salad mess and offered to refund us for the salads. It's been more than 2 months since that call and we have yet to receive that refund. For almost $10k of food, I would have expected a lot more from them.
I just had my second Kentucky Derby party catered by Red Sage, and the food and service were phenomenal. Alex worked with me to create Hot Brown sliders and created a strikingly beautiful theme cake that was also delicious. I've been getting calls and texts all day from guests who want to know who did the food!
Perfect in every way! We held a small dinner party and had the baked fish and it was amazing. Great service, easy to work with, big portions, fast service, just perfect in every way. Highly recommended. I just wish I had more parties so I could hire them more often! :)
My fiance and I were really excited to use Red Sage based on their food options, prices, and previous reviews. They were quick to communicate back to me via email and worked with our schedule to set up an appt.
However, the first appointment they did not respond to calls or texts until we waited for 30 minutes. The person working with us explained they were sick and hadn't woken up so we understood and wanted to give another try and rescheduled.
Our second appt we scheduled was supposed to be today at 10am. I have texted and we waited at the location but at this time (1145am) I still haven't gotten a response from them.
I had even explained after the first no show that it is extremely hard for my fiance and I to both have off work the same time and we have limited time to do things together and to please let me know if anything came up, or if they are running late or had to reschedule. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and commitment, and lack of respect shown by this company. We have now wasted another day together where we could have scheduled other appointments for things for our wedding.
I worked for Scott and Alex through a Tara Mark event group on dec. 22, 2019. I have yet to get paid and today is January 5th, 2020. Tara stop responding and will not give a phone number or any definite pay day. I only picked up the shift for extra money for holidays, specifically, my wife's birthday which is today. And I'm stuck at hm broke. Not bc I didn't plan ahead, but bc I wasn't paid within the time span that I should have. It's been over two wks now.. no response from Alex and Scott. I hate this happened bc I loved working for them
