Bus 945: The bus ride to and from AC was not comfortable in any stretch of the imagination. Hands down the worst charter bus I ve been on. Bathroom light didnt work and was dark. The wipers were faulty and making a loud clanking noise several times per minute; and on the ride back, The bus driver seemed to show little care, and refused to turn the heat on (it was 38 degrees), so 46 people were freezing cold and shivering for the 2 1/2 hour ride home. We could actually see our breath. i would not recommend this bus service. I would actually advise to stay away and look elsewhere.

Ran into a group of 3 of these clowns buses. 2 of them nearly rear ended me on pa 33 before cutting over to the hammer lane. Couple miles up the road, I guess the imbeciles got lost, and doglegged back to the road I was on, one of em pulled out directly in front of me, maybe about 50 feet. Had to slam on my brakes. He actually seemed to wait at the stop sign till I was almost on h before pulling out in fronr of me. The 3rd idiot was behind me. Upon being separated from his fellow morons, he felt it necessary to tailgate me for 8 miles. Leaving about half a bus length between him and my car at speeds ranging from 4t to 55mph. Then, on getting into the town of Bangor pa, while waiting for oncoming traffic so I could make my left hand turn, idiot number 3 repeatedly flashed his high beams to show his impatience. I'm not someone who complains on professional drivers. I've got 6 years driving bus and 12 in 18 wheelers. I hate calling in on people who drive for a living. But these 3 saddle River coaches were the most dangerously, aggressively driven busses I've ever seen!! What kind of company allows this kind of aggressive dangerous idiot, or in this case 3 of them, to drive vehicles hauling 40 plus passengers?? Ridiculous. Wouldn't charter a company that allows drivers like that to drive to transport my worst enemy.oh.. I've called the pa state police to warn them about these imbeciles.
Well this might be the worst bus company known to man. They lie and truly dont care about there customers I take bus from ridgewood station to work. The bus on 2 occasions flat out didn't show up. This being the second time I called customer service which the woman started off nice but once it was proven she was lying, her attitude changed the 315 bus showed up before the 215 she claimed it was the 215 but the pleasant 315 driver also very rude flat out said they lied to me. Now with my job in jeopardy because of this trash bus service.. Hopefully njtransit reads this and puts their company back on this route. I believe in karma so hopefully she will work against this trash company
Possibly the worst commuter service in New Jersey is the Route 55 bus service provided weekdays between Bloomfield and New York City. I find it difficult to believe that this is the same company that operates commuter bus service in the more affluent areas of Bergen county into New York City. Perhaps that s the reason why the bus service has no air conditioning in the dog days of summer, the buses are dirty, there are broken overhead doors that endanger passengers and light fixture panels that are missing, exposing wiring. It is my firm belief that their buses that are new and well maintained are used for their commuter lines near Fort Lee and Leonia and not Bloomfield and Belleville.
Very poor bus service overall. On Feb 18, 2017, we were scheduled to leave from Edison, NJ to Atlantic City at 12:50pm, but the driver Ashley arrived at 1:20 pm, with a large group (including some children) already on the bus. Some couples from Edison had to sit alone due to the lack of seats. Also, there was no bathroom and the air conditioner was not working correctly. This caused people to become angry, complaining to the driver. The driver pulled over at the Cheesequake stop off the Parkway so people could use the bathroom. We finally arrived at the Caesar's Casino, one hour late! Coming home was also an adventure. The bus driver instructed all of us to be ready to leave at 9:30 pm. Before we left, there were a few new passengers that walked on the bus. The driver then collected $25 each from 4 or 5 of them for the fair, NO RECEIPT'S given, and the passengers complained to the driver on not receiving a receipt. Now, we finally leave to pick up passengers from Harrah's Casino. We get there and pick a few people up. We all thought at the time we were now on our way home, but no, he drove back to Caesar's to pick up more passengers. Probably the ones that missed the bus at the scheduled time. Going home, the Air conditioner was working a bit better and we had to stop at Cheesequake again, before going back to Edison. We finally arrived around 12:15 am. Never again, shall we ride this bus!
Horrible bus company! The bus down and to AC had no air conditioner on a 98F degeee day and it smelled like rotting poop. Never taking this company again your better off on public transportation
Absolutely the most unreliable bus company I have ever taken. They cancel busses randomly and don't tell the customers. Disbatchers are extremely rude and very little help. Will never use again.
I reached out to Saddle River Tours to book a 50 seater coach a few months before my wedding. I had no idea if we would need it or not but I booked it just in case. The booking process was smooth and easy and when it turned out that we did not need the coach, they were so kind in cancelling and gave us no trouble at all. I will have no problem reaching out to this company in the future based on their professionalism and customer service. Thank you so much!
This bus company is a joke, they took over running the route I take to work. The buses do not run on time. On more than one occasion, I have waited over 2 hours for a bus that I was told was on it's way. If I could give this company lower then one star I would. This company should be ashamed of themselves people take this bus to work, home, and college.
Your service in Bloomfield,N.J is very poor; there is no 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm for individuals who want to attend shows. Everyone is not on vacation or retired. I wanted to attend the Smokey Robinson show (this Saturday). I cannot attend unless I spend an exorbitant amount of money through car service . The 7:00 pm bus from Union is too late and the others are too early. Coach USA was excellent your company is the complete opposite.
ATROCIOUS BUS COMPANY! The bus was schedule to come at 2:58, but came at 3:35 instead! Yes it came 37 minutes late! Another instance was when it was scheduled to come at 4:33. I waited there for 20 minutes called and was told that there was a problem with the bus and it would be there in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, no bus. I called again and was told that the bus would not be coming. Saddle River Tours is the WORST BUS COMPANY IN NJ. Can't rely on them for work or school hope NJ transit takes the 772 bus back.
the driver refuse to adjust the temperature of the bus i cant even breath it was so hot everybody was complaining... bus no. 963 date of tour nov. 13 2016..
My school uses the company as a shuttle bus service. They suck. Today the bus smells like trashcan. Sometimes they don't show up on the scheduled time. one of the bus drivers made us stand in cold so she could talk on the phone. The app they have is not reliable.
The worst. Bus left one hour late. It took the slowest route. The train is faster than this bus. DON T BUY! No charging outlets. Really gross. Tv s don t work, neither do lights.
I call about the 755 bus schedule at no transit since it shows up and they redirect me here which then tells me that the arrival times are inaccurate all the time. Then the operator gives me an attitude when I express my displeasure about the service. For once I would like them to fix the arrival times on the 755 and 751 so that people won't have to keep waiting for a bus that will never show up. Worst bus company ever.
The bus service is not only average, but the busses the bus that my group was given had a broken toilet with a large dump in it, making the bus smell like a landfill all day. The fact that a company would still use a bus in this situation is appalling.
Horrible bus service.. Driver showed up late, bus was dirty, bathroom didn't work and was leaking the entire time. Customer service is non-existent after they get payment. Would NEVER use them again or recommend.
They have a responsibility to be at a College every morning at 6 AM to bring kids to another campus. They never showed up today, the phone was not being answered and the dispatch had no idea why?? So college students miss a day of school during finals????
