At this time and age, the digital life growing at an unprecedented rate, and yet there are many good people whose main craft is analog photography.
I live in Tel Aviv, and here, for a long time, there is no trace of the analogy prosses I was accustomed to. I was thrilled to find your company and ordered some items. I was amazed by the speed with which the equipment arrived in Tel Aviv, surprised by the uncompromising quality of the equipment, as in the good old days.

bought a Sinar 4x5 and Zeiss lens and did a local pickup - we wheeled and dealed for a case, polaroid film and more. Omer is very knowledgeable and amicable, this is my first 4x5. As well, he answers the phone and the lab has many accessories. I like the old school service and knowledge, and dont mind making the trip to Jamaica Plain to see actual cameras and pieces to further understand this new 4x5 field..(to me)

Buying used 50 year old cameras can be a daunting experience, especially when buying from an unknown eBay source.

However, the staff at CatLABS were very accommodating and more than willing to provide an inspection before purchase so I could have peace of mind.

Very poor customer service. Contrary to their response below, they never even attempted to contact me. I emailed them to explain a product they carried was defective, and included examples of the photographs. Since the purchase was past 30 days, they could decline my report of a defective product on eBay and that s what they did. The item was only $18 and they offered no replacement, partial refund or even an email in response. I d think twice about spending money on high end photo equipment with them when they are so set on not accepting or even offering a store credit for a defective item. Apparently customer service is their last concern and will accept negative reviews and feedback rather than work with a customer.

If you are into film (analog) photography, then this place is a must visit! I was met by the owner who literally spent over an hour with me telling me all the pros and cons of the different self film developing systems I was looking at. Such a wealth of information, plus lots and lots of inventory, felt like a kid in the candy store. They had everything from 35mm to large format cameras (with lens) waiting to be shot. Plus everything related to developing film at home to scanning your film to convert into digital.
