The location is great in terms of beautiful size but the mosque is seen from almost every corner of Adana where visitors say that they do not feel as spiritual as the historical mosques. I like it, but it's uncomfortable to have the word 'SA' on the sign. The first thing that comes to your mind is the question of whether there is money earned in interest.

Presently the largest mosque in Turkey though soon to be overtaken by a mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is beautiful and set in an exquisite location: on the bank of the Seyhan River and in a park.

The mosque is hard to miss in Adana; indeed it should not be missed. Unlike many other mosques worth seeing in Turkey, this mosque is new having been completed in 1998.
