Not recommend as this place loots u in the name of God . Everything inside temple is artificially made . Small place made into tunnel to increase the time u spend inside. There is no factor of a temple . That soothingnes u get after visiting temple is missing . U will just be disappointed.

Huge Statue Of The Lord Himself!!!

Huge Statue Of The Lord Himself!!!
Visit once and you will be amazed. This is a beautiful temple on the old airport road in Bangalore.

You will be amazed at the arrangement here. You have to enter the tunnel at one end and exit the other.

Inside the tunnel you will see show cases with different mythological characters.

Religious place. Large shiva statue.can see models of all jyotirlinga s in one place. Religious and philosophical books are available for sale. Shiva related poojas maybe done . May spend time very peacefully.

The entry is free but the front desk people ask to buy a ticket. The minimum ticket rate is 50 but they start from 150. Ticket is useful only if you want to see artificial caves depicting various religious places in India for Shiva. The huge idol is visible even from the parking lot of Kempfort mall. No need to stand in queue if that's your only interest.

Just returned from shiva temple from the entrance itself with an unexpected experience. I had been visiting the temple from past 10 years but this time I felt that the business mentality was at its peak. Me, my child and husband are regular visitor to the temple as the temple entrance is open late hours and suits our hectic lifestyle. But today ..they simply asked us 50/- rs to get entry into the temple as it crossed 12 am. Funniest part of the money mongers is ...if the Temple doors are closed, then it should b closed for all. Why money can give u entry mid night to temple. So poor people who can't afford to pay ..they cannot visit the temple and god is not meant for those. Poor demonstration of spiritually.. absolute waste and surprise for me as I never experienced this in last 10 years in my favourite temple.excellent business centre .. job seekers would surely get something to earn here.

Hi,

Hi,
I am a regular devotee to Shivaom temple, temple is well maintained, recently I visited on 1st Jan ,though the temple was too crowded by devotees the staff maintained excellent cordination , very helpful staff with smiling face, one of THE BEST TEMPLE among the temples in Bangalore city, best place to meditate, temple is opened 24hrs on all 7 days.I happened to meet the chief manager , the lady was exteremely humble and described about the importance of doing "homa". This temple gives inner peace. OM NAMA SHIVAYA.

Paying entrance fee, as if as a theme park Hindu temple. The huge Shiva statue of 20 m in height is a masterpiece.

When you enter the temple, you will be on the right track. There are various Shiva gods and Ganesha in the way, I feel like going around praying for each, like unscrupulous, a visiting theme park. At the end of the route will go under this big Shiva god, a small candle will be handed over and will end at the main event releasing the candle while praying to the pond.

There seems to be a free entrance, but we recommend that you enter inside with a variety of fee-based packages.

Nothing devine feeling or presence. Its all just commercial business of looting money and more of money making business. Seriously I pity and would like to see the charm as it was back in 90s. Normal/free entry is also charged 150per person. Is this a temple or some exhibition.

KEMPFORT SHIVE Temple is one of the special attraction inside the Bangalore, the place is amazing and very clean and very peaceful. Inside the city they made this means it's really awesome, First time I visited thus temple at 2008, at that time it's very beautiful and very cheap they are charged around 20 to 30 rs, if you go now it's 100 to 150.
They made it was a businesss and they are looting money from the people. Ofcourse the place is nice to visit and enjoy for some time peacefully but for that this much amount is not fare.
Except that charges everything is awesome and fantastic. I love this place, I tried to go again also but they are charging more money.
Sorry to say this, for them it is a huge business by using God's name.

The temple in itself is good and well maintained but not the staff or the management. The tickets are priced high. Also any new tourist may be easily tricked to fall prey for their special entry ticket which is 5 times higher than the regular one with not any MAJOR difference in the darshan.

First of all OM Namah Shivaya! This shiv Temple is situated behind the new Total mall which was formerly Kids Kemp. It has a gigantic statue of Lord Shiva however this is completely a commercial place. You will have to shell out 150 - 200 rs per person to enter the premises and perform the puja step by step. But it's worth for one time to experience the atmosphere. I really liked the aarti which was performed in the evening.

I visited the temple after long time I got surprise when I entered in normal darshana they are asking entry fee 150 rs that with long struggle with the q line, even they are taking special and VIP entry also 200 to 350 rs, but my question is that why they are charging for normal darshana. One more surprised for me Temple is in Karnataka (karunadu) their there is no single word of kannada port and pictures even that pojari also won't able to talk in kannada. if we start talking in kannada they won't respond for us and one more once we entered the temple for each and every they thing are charging by doing all these things stuffs and bla bla...they are doing business in the seek of God. Even that Temple management and administration not good and not supporting or developing our mathru bhashi kannada... This was worst experience I had by visiting most of the templs in Bangalore

Best Shiva temple I have ever visited in my life ,very very long queue about 3 hour, but after entering the temple my mind forgot everything , arrangements inside the temple is very good ,but in my opinion their should not be any vip darshan in temple because in a temple all devotees are same ..if God is same then why we are different ..

They are just snaching money from people. Please please please don't visit this place you will get cheated.
In total I lost around 700 rupees as entry fee and other changes.

Thanks,
Yashwanth
