A magnificient Shiva temple must visit in Bengalaru
Very bad management...was surprised to see the people inside asking for money for Darshan...Anyway had to pay money for keeping shoes at the shoe counter...Went to get blessings from Lord Shiva...It's one of its kind in Bangalore...huge one...
Temple has a gigantic 65 feet Lord Shiva statue and 32 feet Lord Ganesha idol.
Entry free for this temple comes in three forms - 100 / 150 / 250
Temple states that money goes to charity.
The Temple is very beautiful but here the peoples are just doing business in the name of god..And the ticket price is Rs250 per head
Well maintained, clean and beautiful Temple/Courtyard in the mid of city. Entry fee of negligible amount but that is worth paying.
Nice place to visit in Bangalore. Shiva statue over here and Harathi will be just awesome and leave you in goosebumps though everything here is a paid service.
Worst staff they are just looting people don't ever think of going here in any chance. If at all you decide to go then go with free entry don't take tickets it'd just waste of money,There is a free darshana but u need to insist them. It's just place of money making
Nice place. Entry fee is different from fee for services
One of a kind temple in Bangalore, bit commercialised but same goes for all temple.
Divine at its best, must visit during evening darshan
Whenever u visit bangalore don't miss visiting this temple go at night
Very calm clean serene atmosphere ..very good spiritual place..worth to visit
Fully commercial.. first full officially commercial temple
Well maintained temple with a beautiful statue of lord Shiva and pleasant spiritual atmosphere.
Its awesome temple we feel like to visit again and again
Best place to rejuvenate your mind. Highly recommended place to visit if you are in bangalore.
There is great improvement as compared to what it was earlier. There are quite a few good brand stores in kempfort after the renovation. Eating joints too are good. Located in a very convenient vicinity from where almost all kinds of modes of transport are easily available.
I hope the staff n management maintain the way it is maintained now.
A very good musical environment of temple. And you may feel the true strength of Hinduism.
Very Good built temple . gorgeous looking statue of Lord shiva is the main attraction and jewel of the place, should visit at least once for every one who visits Bengaluru
Entry ticket 250 rs ..but different experience ..they make us to do many traditional pooja ways
Place is good but Commercilized Temple. U have to spend some money.
Excellent temple and have great idol of Lord Shiva and peaceful place.....
Don't vis it this place... cheaters... they displaying the entry is free..but they says you can not get dharshan without paying rs.150..
The staff who is in counter is misguided us to their benifit ..even though the crowd is less ,they make us to wait for long... through out the temple, they preaching about moksha..but looting money from people... please don't visit..
It's beautiful and memorable , went on Shivaratri and it's like a big mela
Only one thing good about is giant lord shiva statue,
But else management is looting public, nothing is free there.
The temple is beautiful.....but the worst part is that the management has commercialized the place...they will ask for entry fee, Pooja price, darshan price at every step
Over exaggerated and too much commercialized. No normal entry you have to cough up 500 per couple
The temple has a huge idol of sitting Shiva. It s looks magnificent. But the staff there will deceive you to buy tickets for darshan and pooja. There is provision for free darahan also but for first time comers, the staff may trap you to buy tickets.
Everything paid here but still a good place to watch !!!
The place is good, but the management makes it commercial .this is a temple, entry fees is not correct .
Nice temple. Entry fee must be there Rs 150/- but you may cover rudrakshi Pooja, cover all Shiva lingam's through out India by arranging order wise and explained briefly, Milk abhishkam will done by us and finally we get deepam to leave it on water, coins to leave in water and then agarbathi to put it in front of God.. Finally nice to see and feel Better..
Peaceful place, felt so relax in temple, must visit there
Great place. Its located in a crowded place but when u step inside its just heavenly.
Will get a positive energy when we enter in to that cave and see 200 to 300 meters tall Shiva in front of you.
One of the best temple in Bangalore to visit. Best visiting time is between 6-8 pm. You can join evening Aarti, night lighting is amazing in different colours. LORD Shiva statue is huge and looks more wonderful when they add lights on it. Entry is free. Additional entry fee 150 RS, if you wanna see caves inside temple. But without ticket also you can be a part of Aarti and close view of Shiva .Must visit with family.
Private temple and the entry fee is too highh to see the god...150rs notmal entry and 250 special entry
Awesome...... Beautiful... &.... Systematic.. Temple
If you are devotee of Lord Shiva. You must visit this temple. Peace Of Mind. Ultra Blessed. Om Namah Shivay.
Temple is really nice and well maintained. But the point is that it has been commercialized so much that it loses the purpose of providing peace. It is all about money over there. Small queue pay additional money, offer water to lingam pay money, visit the dhams, pay additional money, want to offer water to big shiv statue, pay money, drop a coin the water body pay money, click a picture pay money. I felt cheated after visiting the temple because it feels like it is more like a source of earning money rather than actually finding peace and offering worship.
I feel th Bliss n Peace once u enter the Shivaay Manir
Really Peaceful place. It is famous fpr Gigantic statues of lord Mahadev & lord Ganapti. If you want to see all the structure inside artificial caves and if you want to do "Pooja" then you'll have to pay 250 entry fee.
If you just want to see the statue and temple then Free entry is also available. Parking is not free. Must visit place in Bangalore.
I went with lot of expectation, entry was like Pub, we have asked to put Rudrshaki in 101 Veseels without reason and we tied thread to some plastic tree brach without reason. There is so many non sense without reason inside. Only thing is Shiva idol is good bit of worth for Rs.250 as entry fee. People inside so called Poojari don't aware what they are murmuring. Just go to any temple in Bangalore will be better than this.
Big Shiva is a must see! Other parts of the temple can be options.
Beautiful temple
Try to visit with gufa dardhan ticket of 50
.
I have read a number of rude comments by local guides about this temple but it's a good temple in my view. I mean the place is surrounded by music systems and you can have a peaceful time here. And the most important thing is the ticketing system, if you are a daily visiter like me you can enjoy the free darshan. It is more efficient in my opinion. If you want do special pooja then don't come here. I am agree with the fact that the temple is commercialized. But it's wholly depends on you, whether you would like to purchase anything or not. Nobody will force you. In the end a well managed and calm place for spiritual persons like me.
Mostly for commercial purpose ,for Special darshan 250/- person, you can't pour water on Shiva Lingam if you didn't paid.
Beautiful Shiva statue. Do not go for VIP ticket. General ticket is enough
Interesting but too commercialized and it can definitely take more cleaning! As you have to walk bear footed, bring wet wipes with you. Worth visiting only if you are in the area.
Amazing temple in Bangalore..
Once visit here...with family.. really this place will make ur day happy and wonderful...
You will never feel like it's a temple. Money minded and the staff are arrogant. Very bad experience. We waited for nearly half an hour in a dungeon while the staff was cool and focussed only on collecting money on their own speed. There was no air circulation and the children inside find it very difficult to breath. Would never recommend to anyone.
The place is good for shiv bhakts but the trust which operates the temple has commercialized the God Shiv. In the name of puja and darshan they take money from you, even for lightening a candle you need to pay.
