Awesome place to connect with spirituality. Ticket 150 to perform all rituals. Worth well managed. Dont go by why temple is charging money coz its very well managed by 100 of volunteers. Free entry is also there. But only darshan is available in that. Spend some time sit and meditate to get the feeling.

Purely commercial. Have to pay at every juncture of the temple. There is nothing lik free darshan. Didn't find the spiritual feel in the temple.

The temple has become completely commercial. Even though there is a free entry, the management completely fails to tell this to the people.
The free entry is from the main road while the paid ticket of 250 is near the parking. Even after you go inside the temple, each person will again ask for ticket and if you tell you don't have, they ask you to bring the ticket. Make sure you tell them you want to go without ticket.
Perks of getting ticket is that you can visit the jyothirlinga and you will be given an Agarbatti .
The status is very good, well maintained. If the management is money minded, it will loose the spirituality thats present now.

Had been to this place a few years back and liked it. Recently visited again and loved the ambience even more. The way the evening aarti is conducted involving the devotees is an experience not to miss. Organised Darshana, abhisheks, And then spend some time sitting there. Evenings , especially weekends will be a bit rush but manageable. They charge tickets for the Darshana. But for senior citizens it s free and I liked that fact. Must visit place in Bangalore, especially elders who like to visit temples.

Visited first time as today it's my husband's b'day so we wanted to get blessings of Lord shiva.. The only thing I dislike that why anyone should pay anything to get a darshan s of God.. They should not charge anything to at least worship God.. But otherwise it's a well maintained and clean temple..

Nice place to visit specially during evening Aarti time @ ~7.30 PM. It has small makeshifts for all Shiva temples in India including 12 lings and all dhams. Replication of Ganga river from the all idol of Lord Shiva is awesome. Only problem is they have made it little commercialized by charging for every small activities.
Very good place in center of the city.

I felt wonder there is no free entry into the temple, basic entry fee is Rs.100 other top up options are there to visit other setups. I hope this the only temple in India which gives you such a bad feeling when go see lord shiva at the entrance. Since then you feel the commercial at every step in the temple. Only thing you feel great about he temple is giant lord Shiva statue.

Its an Amazing Place to visit . Giant Lord Shiva warmly welcome all the person who visit here . The Entrance is very Nice .That helps to build the suspense of seeing Lord Shiva . Once u see him .Amazing vibe one can feel . The calmness , devotion, the slow background devotional music puts you in a different state of mind till you spend your time there . Outside the temple you have lot of small shops which sell many devotional Items . Good Place to visit with the family .Kids will love it .So will the adult .

Very bad, management is worst their only intention is to earn money. I call this place a market place instead of a Temple.
People are forced to pay extra money.
You may visit only once, second time you will not go.

Again this too, is a more of commercialized place as for 12 Jyotirlingam darshanam they charge 150 Rs and then inside for 5 Dhams darshanam they charge 30 Rs. When they already get enormous offerings in hundi from pilgrims, I don't no why they are charging these amounts.

Very pleasant place. First timers be aware. There is absolutely free darshan that you can have. There are other tickets for 50 150 250 with which you can do barah ling yatra and other things. But if you just want to have a beautiful darshan of Lors Shiva, it's free. Just tell the people stopping you to buy tickets, that you will do a free darshan only. And once you go in if you change your mind you can still buy the tickets for various things separately.

Temple visit was of two types
Temple visit was of two types
1. Covering all guhas as like live jyothir Lingas , abhisekam, rudraksha puja, Yagnam etc and finally big Shiva statue
Ticket cost is 250/- per head
2. Ticket cost is 150/- per head and it won't cover all the above
I would prefer the first option only

A temple full of activities!! Fairly commercial... somehow I didn t get a feeling of peace relaxation, or even Bhakti.. the first thing after you go through a dark dingy and not so clean circuitous path is they are entry tickets, Prasad and the entire transaction is very mechanical and even rude.. inside the temple once you have bought tickets you go through series of activities and place has got donation boxes, all over.. the paths are tacky, the idols and other Pooja worthy paraphernalia is decrepit and does not evoke any respect, love, peace or devotion..
