One of the best temples I have visited of Lord Shiva. The big Shiva statue is the treat to the eyes. It is very beautiful. They have an entry fee of 150 Rs. In that you can do all the darshan. First you will have to put 108 rudraksh in 108 pots..And then offer water to the shivling..Then there is a big Ganesha statue and after that you have to do the darshan of all the famous shiv temples in India like kaashi, kedarnath, badrinath, etc.. then you the 12 jyotirlingaas , you see that. After this they give you a coin, you can ask your wish and put that coin in the water (it's believed that those wishes get fulfilled). Then you have to light a diya and leave it in the water. They also give you the facility to do hawan. And at last you have the 9 garah temple. And this is where your darshan comes to an end. In a very small space they have created this temple. If you are in Bangalore you should definitely visit this temple. OM NAMAH SHIVAY !
The place is really good. After u enter inside the temple, your mind will completely be Lord Shiva. Must visited place..
Actually there is no temple entry fee for your visit. You should pay for chapal counter thats it. If u want to perform pooja and seva u can buy ticket of 150rs. People in temple here sit everywhere to cheat you and collect money. Don't get fooled by paying what they ask. Management has to take strict action on the people who cheat here. These people force the devotees to buy tickets. Someone has to complain on the management to take action against the people who cheat devotees.
Nice to visit... Yes, it's become tourist destination... Priest guide you and tell things about Pooja perform
It's not the temple it's the business center
All things r artificial not fell like the temple
The pandit are demanding money for everything
And one important point their is entry fees for entering the temple and after entering the temple their is 1 more gufa the cost to enter their is also different so costly
So disgusting
Nice and devotional place in centre of huge traffic
Parking spot converted into so called temple. Only difference in this temple is that, here beggers are sitting behind desks issuing admission tickets. Represents everything wrong with religion now. Fully commercialised place not worth even a paisa
The entry fee is heavy for normal entry it is 100 which is for Shiva Darshan and special entry fee of 150 for access to caves which had jyothirlinga Darshan, 108 ons coins along with Shiva Darshan and 5rs extra for keeping footwear.would not suggest if you are looking for a Divine experience
Had been there today evening.
When we entered, there are people in the counter who are asking which one you want to take - 150 Rs for entire Darshana and package. 50 Rs for normal Darshana.
We entered. It looks like modified, hi-fi style temple.
Well, coming to the ambience, it's amazing and well maintained.
Everywhere money, money, money. Totally looting money in the name of God.
People will take selfies and photos here and there. Please avoid. Maintain silence and behave politely.
Sit for sometime and enjoy peaceful mantra and maintain silence.
God bless you :)
Great place to get your nerves calm. Giving 3 stars as now it has become very commercial.
This is lovely place if you want to go with family. Whenever you visit try to take that darshan ticket rs250/head. This is actually worth it..
It's more of a labyrinth than a temple. Lacks the vibes
One of the best place to visit in Bangalore , it's peaceful and really amazing experience .
This is not a religious review, just a review from someone who has visited it 15 years ago. What was once purely about Shiva's statute, has now been completely commercialised, which is why the 3 star rating. You still must visit it for the statue but obviously the decision to indulge in the various forms of prayers is upto your discretion.
Temple was good but all the facilities is very bad,
One more think this is KARNATAKA or other states
No one will speak Kannada every one speaking in other language, Where is Kannada went.
All kannadiga don't go there it's fake fake fake fake..,..........................
Must visit in Bangalore...specially on monday night Maha Arti.
Peaceful place for meditation and ambiance are addhoc.... Which gives pleasant experience too.... Cave like theme is excellent....
Take a tour of the 12 jothir lingas and enjoy the meditation.
Place is good.... but in the name of God your pockets will wash out.... the worst maintenance people in the temple... people go to temple for peace of mind.... but here....
Completely commercial..Every step is for money making. If u believe in GOD, not advised to go there. Better to go local temple. Innocent people getting trapped.
Great place to go for evening dharsan especially evening pooja time at 7.45pm
Best place to spend time. Shiva lovers love this place.
Place is nice. Peaceful. But entry fee is costly.
Nice place to visit shivoham shiva temple in Bangalore such a beautiful statue in your life please visit one time to get blessings of Lord shiva
The divine experience of God Shiva... Calm ,peace ,relaxed
A very nice place to visit in weekend and have blessed.
Not great, just money making. Entrance price ticket are expensive. Not worth it. Special darshan ticket is just non sense. Just to click photos you would have to spend nearly 500INR for two person.
Awsum experince early morning with full family.
The best part is had an awsum guide Manjunath..who wss too helpful and full of patience.
Want to visit again n again
I travel by Old Airport Road daily. I never noticed this place. But once you visit it, it become a good surprise. The setup done pleases you. The Shiva idol itself is larger than life. There's a 12 Jyotirlinga tour on offer which is up to you to take. They offer usual Poojas and other things. Overall a nice place to visit.
Great architecture work for sure but a temple is not for that alone. It somewhat lacks the peace ful ambience and it is not that divine, but it is a must visit place because not everyone gets chance to go to all the jyotirlinga in life time qnd this temple has the miniature of all of them. The entry fee is a bit on the higher side (350) but you should pay for it and make full use of it.
Serene, and peaceful. Beautiful place to calm your mind. One of the biggest and tallest Shiva statue.
Place is very nice but people sitting with swiping machines n forcing to pay 100/150Rs. for darshan.. Don't pay them. This is the business of god..
Vasvani group has converted the temple into a business center. The entry to the temple is also chargeable.
67 ft tall shiva.great place.well managed temple.maha yagna.Arthi good experience
First this place was the most peaceful place but now it's become very commercial
Om Namah Shivaye...Maintained well ...Gives Positive Vibes
I can't explain the beauty of this temple with my words
Great spiritual place. Weekends are little crowded. Have both paid(150 bucks) and free darshan. Must visit on evenings as lightings are good.
The temple is good. Entrance fee of 250 per person is too expensive. Please pave way for everyone
Rs. 200 to see god... no normal queues to see... Too costly for any middle class
Big statue of lord Shiva n Ganesha. The mall is opened for 24 hrs. For visitors
An amazing shiva temple, the statue is quite bigger and has a very powerful positive energy. The Arti at evening , one should visit at least once. Overall one of the best place to visit in banglore.
This temple became full cheating and commercial.
In the entry que, there is a women selling tickets. she is misleading everyone and making us to buy 150/- special entry tkt. Normal darshan entry is free. but she doesn't tell that, instead tells us to buy ticket for entry which contain few other lingas darshan.
Good temple but they collect money for each place separately
There's is much more entry fees,They running this temple for collecting money only.
I really love this place its very peaceful nd specially the statue of lord shiva its soo huge nd it looks amazing when u are in front of it
