One of the best peace and Pilgrimage place in Bangalore,Any person walking into this temple with full faith & love towards Him(Shiva) will feel the actual connection to Almighty and enormous amount of joyous and calmness will be felt at the same time. It's highly energetic, vibeful place to be visited by any spiritual being. Ticket price should be 250 per person for Dudhabhishek, cave darshan etc.

One of the beautiful Hindu sacred place in Bangalore.
Located near to murgesh palya area.
It is bit difficult to identify this temple from road since the temple entrance is attached to mall entrance.
There is a entrance ticket at this temple, per head 50 normal days.
During festivals like sivaratri it so be more
100 per head.

That was time of my college days and I came to know about this Temple in 2010 and then onward , I am visiting this temple BUT had very bad experience last week. Here is the scenario- now, THEY ARE CHARGING IF YOU ARE COMING AFTER 10PM IST JUST FOR DARSHAN ITSELF.
I never paid a penny to just visit except ON SHIVA RATRI.
I litterally had arguments with staff and everyone . Even asked for contacts of management if you have. If you are charging for visiting the temple after 10pm then request you please change the timings because I love this temple and love to sit there for hours. If you still having thoughts of simple entry fees[I am not talking about special darshan, Dham darshan, Jyotirlinga Darshan..that's are okay.] then you are behaving just like businessman. If management wants to talk to me on this. Please check camera footage where I had to go back home. my email id is aksy5789@gmail.com.

Very good place/ temple of Shiva to visit in Bangalore. Hidden from the rush and traffic within city. Went there with family, during time of Aarti. It was a great experience.
The big idol of Shiva and Ganesha and the setup of worshipping is wonderful and beautiful.

If you are planning for a religious visit then definitely this is not the place. It's a kind of religoius excibition . Completely money minded people , the complete place it occupied with big big hundi. Coming to the religious part , "Ruthraksha" is the most sacred msyrtial in Hinduism as it is directly connected with lord Shiva , but here I saw alot of Ruthraksha around the drainage and hand washing area .. this shows how much religious these people are.....

Absolute Loot. Everything is a set up there. Intentionally creating an artificial crowd by stopping the free line for hours making the people to buy the 250/- tickets. Atrocious place. Absolutely not recommended.

The Shiva temple behind the Kemp fort complex was built 10-15 years back and has become a popular place for tourists see the gigantic statue of Shiva. The place is decently maintained but is more of a commercial touch with entry fees and fees for other things. An average place which may be okay for one time visit.

The fee differs from 150, 350 & other costs would be around 100+ which makes the devotional trip, a money spending area.

I would have given negative starring if it was option, Initially they were maintaining well, now its just a commercial tourist attraction, not a temple at all. No proper poojas n their service very bad.

A big shiva statue is nice looking. A ready made cave is there which has various shiva lingam like amaranth, kedarnath and so many. But main thing is employs of temple collect 150rs for darshana of shiva statue, 250rs for POP made cave. They also collect separate fee for other poojas. All are money minded. 2 security counter is there to check the bill receipt. You won't get feelings of temple or bhakti. It looks like picnic spot

Well it had been almost 15yrs since I last visited this place and thought I'd go now. To my disappointment it was nothing as I knew back then. A complete commercial and brainwashing driven ideology. And I can be sure to tell that there were more hundi than idols of God. Clearly there was no devotion at this place and I definitely cannot term this place a temple.

One out of one for structure of Lord Shiva ... And zero out of 4 for other things... Because very commercial template... Very Expensive Like Big Big Mall... They ask to take tickets if you don't know there is free DARSHAN for everyone... Only you need to buy (5 ) tickets for each slippers... Don't give money when they ask you... They are money minded people... Very Bad Experience...

Very divine. Good management. One thing I've understood...
Never hesitate to spend entry fees or donations... It is meant for old age homes and orphanages. If you're not willing to spend, don't spend. It's not necessary, use general entry. Simple!

I love this place! Visit early morning (Dawn) or post sunset (Dusk)

People say the trust has made it a business than Temple. But then what do other big temple trust do?

We have to consider they need money to maintain the place and for most working there is just a job.

What matters is how you feel when you are present there!!

I feel great. Specially if you visit during Dawn or post Dusk.

More a business then a temple, feeling if temple is gone once you hit the first counter, and if you say no to any of there special pooja or darshan they just give you a weired look.
Shiva idol is really nice.

Totally commercialised the concept of visiting temples. There is an entry fee being charged illegally in the pretext of a VIP darshan. There is a board mentioning-"entry free" which is misleading.

They're charging 150 Rupees just to enter the temple during daytime, they're saying it's free after 10 pm, I refused to pay but they still let me enter, they should really charge nominal fees for entering the temple, for like 20 Rupees. Quite sad.

From great lovable experience now it is just turned out into monetary based temple. You can t visit closer if you don t have money. Minimum 150rs required to visit the entire temple. Don t what happened ? Why suddenly it is turned into money making place ? Feel for poor people. Beside money making place, it is wonderful experience being here. Toilet facility, car parking is available. Your time and money is worth but is it really needed is the question. Siva is absolutely breath taking and gorgeous.
